Hello Simon, so sweet. I do love the Flag but for me I will even out the bottom of the flag, nice progress on Cat montage, Miniature Marvels so cute, Penguin needle minder, is so cute. Congratulations to the winners, Simon, you are a hoot, howling. July project is pretty, love the fabric color. Good luck painting your bathroom, please share a photo when it is finished. I love my surger, it is amazing you will love yours.
Love the finish on your flag piece. I can't wait to see how you get it framed. Loved seeing Simon and the resemblance to the cat on your stitching piece.
Hi Carolyn. Congratulations on your lovely finish! It's such a pretty pattern. Thanks for the update. I don't envy you painting, but you might start me clearing my cupboards! Very therapetic.⚘️
So glad you are making the most of your month off work. Your flag looks amazing, but I especially love your magazine stitch with the skaters on the pond.
Glad you were able to finish the flag, it is beautiful. Totally forgot about the Tour de France that sounds fun to stitch along with. There. Is always next year.
Best of luck painting your bathroom. I have one that seriously needs a new coat of paint, but I keep putting it off, because of all the taping involved. Your E Pluribus Unum Flag project is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
It's amazing - it takes much more time to tape and prep and clean up than actually do the painting itself. I told myself, since I have the time, all I had to do was tape one wall one day, and paint it the next. Well, that tricked my brain because as soon as the wall was taped, I thought, oh it won't take long to paint. And it really didn't! I managed to get 2 walls (the easier walls) done in 1 day. Just be gentle with yourself!
This cat mom loved Simon's cameo. He's a sweet helper. Love the colors in Cat Alphabet! Jan Hicks' interpretation of the American flag in e pluribus unum is beautiful. Give Simon some scritches for me!
Great finish Carolyn. You have being very productive regarding destashing and getting rid of stuff, wish i could get in that mindset. Have a great week, don't overdo it. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
I am very impressed (and jealous) of how much you are accomplishing! Too bad Simon and Jack can't help you paint! 😅 Your flag piece turned out awesome. Great finish!!
Loved seeing Simon, both in real life and how his lookalike is coming along on Cat Alphabet. I’m a big Jan Hicks fan. I stitched Meditation Garden for my daughter’s office (she’s a therapist). The flag pattern is lovely.
Hi Carolyn! Hi Simon! Awwwww Simon wants to see what Mommy is stitching :). Too funny when he was trying to see Cat Alphabet. I hear you, Simon....lol. Congrats on finishing the flag! Happy Stitching!
My kitty, Judge, woke up when Simon got so vocal! Fantastic finishes & progress on stitching Simon. 😃 I finished 3 projects & started my 2nd Xmas in July project. I love the flag pattern. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. ❤
Hello Carolyn It is such a good idea to use movers to move furniture in the house! I like your stitching! Inspirational. I don't how all the people are dealing with the heat. I live in Alaska and 70°F is so hot. It just started to rain today which breaks the heat we've had. I really like Jan Hicks flag design. See you next video!
Love the flag finish. Pets really do know when something is different. Anytime our suitcases come out they get immediately antsy. When that happens and my mom shows up to watch the kids, my dog starts his depression behaviors. Our cat used to sit either on or in the suitcases and would just stare at us the whole time we tried to pack. Glad you are staying cool!
Hey there beautiful friend! So wonderful to see Simon shared the floss tube with you! So hard to imagine your temperature at 104! That had to be horrible for you even with a/c. You make me exhausted just listening to all you have done. Congrats on your finish of e pluribus unum. Simon looks so handsome on Cat Alphabet. You know how much I love this piece. I am actually surprised I am still awake since Walter did not go to sleep until after 2:30 Sunday morning. Poor sweet boy has had a very long week. I ended up going with Kristal to take him to the doctor on Wednesday. His temperature, on routine Tylenol and ibuprofen, shot up to over 105 Wednesday early morning. Doctor found an ear infection and sent him to the ER for evaluation of a head injury he sustained on Sunday at the park with his mom and dad. They decided not to CT him. He fell asleep in the car on the way here Saturday and slept most of the afternoon, thus why he was up so late. I went to bed shortly after he fell asleep but woke up my normal these days after 3.5 hours so have been up since about 7. Still house hunting. Cleaners finally came in and washed down the walls, floors, etc. after the fire. They have started working on the apartment where the fire was, so not much chance of sleeping in even if I could. Hope you and the boys have a great week. Take care and don't work too hard before you have to head back to work. Love to all of you. Dawn
Hi from Colorado! I used to salute the flag every morning of my military career. You are the kind of amazing person that I wish lived in my town. Take care.
Congrats on finishing E Pluribus Unum, and I'm excited to see your progress this month on Cat Alphabet! Good to see Simon (Hi Simon!) in this video and Jack (Hi Jack!) in the last. Not gonna lie, I'm jealous of your painting and organizing projects and wish I'd get off my lazy you-know-what and do the same. Good luck finding a new home for the Hearthside Craftworks. If it was the floor stand I'd be all over that (I'm in Hillsboro), but I never use lap stands and would have no use for it. I bet if you tell the folks at Acorns & Threads, they'll find you a buyer in no time. 😄
It sounds like you are making great use of your time off! I can’t believe you managed all that painting and still had energy for stitching, a finish, and a video! Great to see your progress. Congratulations on your finish. The flag turned out beautifully! Thanks for taking the time to share your progress. Stay well and cool and happy stitching. Enjoy the rest of your time off. 😊
Send your organizing vibes this way. I will eventually be painting my kitchen and hearth room. It's got so much trim I just need to do one wall a day. I need to part with stuff too. It can be overwhelming to move stuff. I can understand why your cat is stressed. It's all amazing when it's done though. I hope your rearranging goes smoothly and you find a bit of time to stitch.
Well, it isn't fair because I LOVE to organize. So I will come organize your stuff definitely! It is overwhelming to see how much stuff accumulates (I've only been in this house 3 years), but it feels good once it's all said and done and I"m nearly there. I haven't painted my trim yet, but I will need to because now it looks so dingy compared to the freshly painted walls (the doors need painting too). One wall at a time is the way to go!
Hey! I’m first! Hi Carolyn! So since I believe in supporting you however I can and you are into getting stuff out of there and decluttering, please send all of your stash to me. Thank you!😂
Cat alphabet is coming along nicely, and you are right, the first cat does look just like Simon. The flag E Pluribus Unum project turned out great too.
I keep thinking about that flag. I'd even take it with the cat hair since my cats will just add to it. 😂 I love the tiny Modernist Woodland Christmas. I'm adding it to my wishlist if its still available.
An other finish! Congratulations 💜 I'm almost a little jealous, I currently have an overloaded elbow and haven't been able to do any stitching for a few weeks.... I hope to be able to do at least a little bit in just a few weeks, right? I miss it so much...
I hate painting, from now on I’m only hiring someone to come do it 😂 I loved the Simon cameos (my cats were looking for the chatty kitty). Flag - and cat hair on it is ok 😅
LOL at cat hair on the chart is ok with you! :D I hate painting too. If I was doing the whole house, it would be overwhelming for me, but just one room makes it feel more doable.
It sounds like you are working harder during your time off than when you are under contract. I hope you can flag a few days to take some time to relax.
The flag came out great you can just leave the cat hair on the flag chart, I wont be able to tell it from my cats' hair. I love the way things look when organized but boy is it hard to make those decisions.
❤❤❤Simon. And he does look like the Cat Alphabet cat. I really like Cat Alphabet. It is huge though. Have you thought of doing a bell pull type or banner withe the Cat Alphabet title and your initials? That is about 10 years right there. 😂 You are sure getting a lot of projects done around your house. Applause, applause!!!
Ooohhh see you're smart and to catch me before I start going into the alphabet part - hmmmm....I'll have to seriously consider this - thank you so much!!
Oh man no summer montage! For shame😂 he just wanted us to be able to see the similarity.whew summer montage is getting love. 😊 omg our garage! Don’t ask, this house is 970sq ft and no storage and no shed,so just imagine! Lol😮 see you
Hi Carolyn Love your WIPS - especially the Cat Alphabet. Simon - I am so glad that I got to see you. I just wanted to reach right through my Phone Screen and give you a back rub - a face rub - a tail rub. It’s been awfully hot where I live at too - been in the 90’s. We are suppose to have storms starting tonight - Saturday Night into Wednesday. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵✂️🐾🐱🐾🐾🐱🐾☀️❤️

Congrats on finishing your flag design! It’s so pretty and a nice twist on a patriotic design. 😍🇺🇸
Thank you for your magazine flip throughs and for sharing your stitching progress. I absolutely love your FLAG and would absolutely love to stitch it.

Thank you so much my friend! I am loving the winter piece so much! Can't wait to see it done!
Good heavens! You are really getting things done! Good for you! Cat Alphabet is looking so good as well as everything else! Happy stitching!❤
Thank you so much my friend!
Glad you were able to finish the flag, it is beautiful. Totally forgot about the Tour de France that sounds fun to stitch along with. There. Is always next year.
I am exhausted just listening to all you've done / plan to do! You GO girl!

Fantastic finish! Have a wonderful week.
Great finish Carolyn. You have being very productive regarding destashing and getting rid of stuff, wish i could get in that mindset. Have a great week, don't overdo it. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
Thank you, sweet friend! I'm an "all or nothing" kind of person - either I'm full force productive or laying around rotting! :D
Your flag stitch is very pretty! You talking about clearing out and de-cluttering has motivated me. I think I'll go purge out a closet 😁
Thanks for the inspiration. Love the flag. I'd leave the words off also.
I am very impressed (and jealous) of how much you are accomplishing! Too bad Simon and Jack can't help you paint! 😅 Your flag piece turned out awesome. Great finish!!
Loved seeing Simon, both in real life and how his lookalike is coming along on Cat Alphabet.

awesome finish. love cat alphabet. Happy Painting and Stitching Patty
Thank you my dear friend!
Congratulations on getting another YOW project finished. I wish I could work on getting caught up on home projects. Cat Alphabet is looking great.
Loved meeting Simon! Love your flag ❤
Hi Carolyn! Hi Simon! Awwwww Simon wants to see what Mommy is stitching :). Too funny when he was trying to see Cat Alphabet. I hear you, Simon....lol. Congrats on finishing the flag! Happy Stitching!
Thanks for sharing.Happy stitching
I love Jan Hicks. I world love to stitch the Flag pattern by her!!!
I love Simon. He is certainly a cuddly cat! Love your Flag project.
He definitely is - he loves to be "near" you but not "on" you.
I have been looking at this flag design for a while now. Your finish is beautiful. I need to do it now.
My kitty, Judge, woke up when Simon got so vocal! Fantastic finishes & progress on stitching Simon. 😃 I finished 3 projects & started my 2nd Xmas in July project. I love the flag pattern. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. ❤
Ok that is the most perfect name for a cat!! You are really cruising through July!
I'm grateful for AC! It's been brutally hot in VT.

I like the flag finish. You get so much done.
Thanks, Carolyn! Love to Simon!💝
Enjoyed your stitching once again!! Flag
I’m sitting here rooting for you with all your plans and knowing I’m never gonna get all my own plans done, hahaha! The flag is beautiful!
Great finish and Simon and Jack are studs ;) You know we love seeing Cat Alphabet.
Hee hee - my proud mama heart just...purred (ok that was weird. I made it weird).
Yay for your finish! It's beautiful! I finished Erin Elizabeth's Quaker flag pattern last week. Now to FFO it :)
Yay for your finish as well!
Hi Carolyn, your flag finish is so pretty. I love all your Christmas wips.
Love the flag finish. Pets really do know when something is different. Anytime our suitcases come out they get immediately antsy. I love the Flag pattern. I live in Eugene and use scroll rods with a Lowry floor stand. I always need more scroll rods but don't need a lap stand.
Simon is so cute! Love how your flag project worked out. Cat alphabet is a favorite of mine, but I do not have the patience to stitch it. Keep cool.
It's a really fun stitch, but yes, it will take forever to do!
I hope you’re enjoying your month off. Fly your vacation flag high!

Beautiful finish on the flag. Never apologize for cat sightings. I love them! Thanks for sharing your stitching and stay cool!
Love how your flag turned out! You certainly get things done! Hello to Jack and Simon. Stay cool and hydrated. Have a great week.
Simon wants to say hello to everyone!!! Hi Simon. I love your flag finish.
Simon wants his own show, I think! LOL!
It was nice meeting Simon, he was very vocal! Love your flag, it came out beautiful and much larger than I expected. Good luck with the bathroom
I love cat hair on a flag! Simon is the bestest boy!!
Your flag finish is beautiful.
I wish I had your energy! Just hearing what you’re doing made me tired. Lol. I love seeing all the different flag patterns that are out now.
Lol, girl, I am SO tired!! I'm running on fumes and adrenaline!
You’re accomplishing a lot! Congratulations on finishing your flag project. It really looks great.

I love cross stitching the flag, this one is beautiful. Great video, your work is very impressive.
Love your finish. Simon stole the show.

Your flag looks great!
I love the flag pattern. I enjoy watching, especially when the kitty comes to say hi!
Flag I love that flag thank you. Hope
Simon gives his approval on Cat Alphabet 😂 he also says he needs treats, all the treats.
I keep thinking about that flag. I'd even take it with the cat hair since my cats will just add to it. 😂 I love the tiny Modernist Woodland Christmas. I'm adding it to my wishlist if its still available.

Ha ha! Right? He's like "Get me done, Mama!"

You are on track for year of wips…I think you can get to 8 finishes. I wonder if HAED has a dog alphabet. I shall check. 🦉🧵🪡🌞
Unfortunately, I don't think they do! They do have a lot of great dog patterns though!
Love your flag finish. You got some great progress on your projects.
