Hi Laura, and Happy Thanksgiving! I always enjoy those riff off challenges you partake in. Its fun sering how you connect the projects😊. Have a terrific week and enjoy the time with your family!
Your Stitcheovia piece is looking great, I bet you'll make good progress on that. If you can get the orange outline section done on your turkey it should be smooth sailing for next year!
Such a good visit. You made great connections for Riff Off! Love that fabric you’re thinking for Santa house. Witch’s Garden looks like that have amazing fabric.
I think one of the wonderful things about cross stitch is changing things as we go along the stitch. Hooray for personalization. I often edit the snowflakes on things and yes, they become beads, sequins or skipped. All good. 🦉🎅🏼🧑🏼🎄
Thank you for sharing your lovely stitching. I just finished Santa’s House , it is so pretty. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving and visit! 😊🪡
Hi Laura love seeing your WIP's they are beautiful and I do have a few on my wishlist. I have been doing 3 months to a finish with Dena Half cross stitch. You pick 6 projects to finish within (October, November, and December timeframe) and try to finish them. I have finished 2 out of 6 and almost finishing 3 and really enjoying them. I will be 25 new starts for 2025 and also some smalls for gifts. I will be going to my LNS Stitchery X-Press (only 5 minutes from my home) or Shepards bush (21 minutes from my home) and will be picking out material and looking at patterns old and new. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Great to see you again Laura. Love all your projects. The connections were great. I'm very tempted to join you with the MFE piece on Dec 1st. I'm trying to finish the 2023 SAL & still have a way to go so we'll see. Thank you for the Fantasy Fangirls recommendation. Sounds like it's right up my street. I'm finishing Iron Flame at the minute & have really enjoyed it. Glad you got to meet a stitchy friend in person & have a LNS within reach. I have neither here so Flosstube is my community for which I am so grateful. Have a great week with family. Happy Thanksgiving. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
I stitched on Turkey Day while I watched your video. I started on the bottom left, so I have all of that difficult pattern in the turkey body to look forward to. But it is a beautiful design 😊 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃
Hi Laura! Love seeing your lovely projects! The Cozy Christmas Cottage is beautiful! I'm adding it to my wish list. What an enabler....LOL! I hope to visit Floss & Flame soon! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Those fabrics you purchased are pretty! I signed up for Wip Warriors for next year. We will see how it goes! Your stitching for the week was lovely! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Summer Quaker looks awesome and thank you for showing us about the letters and about the seaweed. I have started mine but I am not that far yet so I will have to remember what you said. Love what you are going to start on December 1st. Your fabrics are so beautiful. Happy Stitching.
Be careful on the Mary Poppins Sampler, in the Chimney Sweeper block, it seems like it's a repeating border but in the middle of the top and bottom, she throws an extra space. And then on the border of the quote, there is an extra space in the borders on top and bottom and then on the sides, the little crosses touch in the middle instead of being separated and then the little row on the side of those is two x's instead of 3. After messing up on the chimney sweeper section, I thought I would catch it in the next when a perused the quote frame...and I didn't. Lol.
Great catch up on all your projects, Laura! I worked on the HOD freebie from a couple years ago called Berries in Bloom while watching you. It's a lovely Christmas small and I made some really good progress during your flosstube. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
On the chrysanthemum piece on which you need to finish the corn, it looks as if the center vein of the leaf beside the word “is” is not stitched. Just an offering
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for the explanation of Riff Off; I didn't participate in any of those this year because I wasn't quite sure how to approach it. And thanks for the info on the shop and pizza place in Dover. I don't know if we're going to be down this year for the race. They changed the dates so that it's in July.. which is when we usually go to Tennessee. 🪡👠
Love all your turkey stitches. So fun to see your rotation this week!
Oh my gosh, Summer Quaker is looking so good! Great work persevering on it!

We have several patterns that are the same, Mary Poppins, the Santa's House from Cottage Garden and the Fall blackbird.

I’m starting Santa’s House soon too. I can join on Sunday! -Stephanie

I bought Sunflower in 16 count. I am going to try stitching Turning Leaves by Satsuma Street on it with the called-for Cosmo threads.
I'm stitching santas house right now .
I still have to do some words on my summer Quaker. Now I’m doing the Halloween Quaker.
You are really moving on with the round Christmas stitch. It’s really pretty.
I haven’t been there yet. Hopefully next week.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving !
Thank you 😊

Great catch! I noticed that while stitching it last night. I then went over it inch by inch in case I forgot anything else 🤣
