This was an excellent video. So well-explained. I’ve been using Igora royale for a couple of years now (the same shade). I’m now looking forward to experimenting with some new shades.
Thank you, Amber. Your video is clear and gives a good overview of the many Igora Royal lines. The video clarifies well how to choose between the lines. 1) For the "Absolute Silverwhites" line you indicate that "Slate Grey" allows you to blend the white into depth (level) 5 hair without darkening the natural color. I think that means it's a depth of 6 or so. For "Silver" you say it is the lightest: is it about depth 9? And at what depth would you place the Dove and Lilac? 2) Does the "Absolute Silverwithes" line contain ammonia? 3) Does the "Absolute Silverwithes" line mix with the Schwarzkopf Essensity line? If so, should I then use the Igora Royal developer or Essensity developer? Thank you very much.
Hi there! Amazing question. The shades Dove Grey and Grey Lilac are great options for levels 6-8. The IGORA ROYAL Absolutes Silverwhites behaves much line a demi permanent in that is uses MEA as its Alkaline to softly swel the cuticle to deposit color. It is also not meant to be mixed with any other color.
Just recently switched my color line to this. I started using 20 volume with my double pigment colors after I heard you say it was better for coverage. Today I finally got my swatch book and on the color system wall chart it says to use 30 volume with the .00 series. Which developer is going to give me better coverage on my resistant clients? In the previous color lines I have used, I’ve always needed 30 volume to get them 100% covered.
Hi there! With our IGORA Royal -00 shades, it is recommended to be mixed equal parts with 30 volume for up to 45mins for grays up to 90%. white hair over 90% is to be mixed with 20 volume.
If I use 1 tube of igora royal l-88 and my hair is past my shoulders ( close to my chest) how many 30 volume developer bottles should I use? I ordered 2 igora royal l-88 and two 30vol but I’m not sure if to use it all or how much 30 volume developer I should add to the color without making it too bright red since the l-88 is already bright enough. Any recommendations?? Plz, I’m trying to cover gray hairs and get this done before my birthday June 9 😊
Hello there 👋 Thanks for your question. It's not recommended to use the L-88 on the scalp. We would recommend using one of the core red boxes like 6-88 + 6-0 for grey coverage with the 20volume IGORA Royal Oil Developer. You can also mix the L- Series with the L-00 to make the tones less intense, (it's like a clear to dilute the color). For the best results we do always recommend seeing a professional colorist. 🖤
Hello dear ! I have natural brown hairs, i would like to try Igora Royal 9.98 , but I have no clue what developer to use and quantity of it. I want my colour more purple they crazy red, please help me to choose it
Hello there! We always recommend seeing a professional hairstylist when trying to achieve these fun fashion colors. As they may need a few steps to get your desired end goal. Please send us a message on Facebook at Schwarzkopf Professional USA or on IG @schwarzkopfusa to help you locate a stylist near you. 🎀🎀
Hi, I currently use a mix of 6-4 (three parts) and 6-5(one part) to cover my greys and get a golden brown colour. My natural hair tends to be on the cinnamony/orangy brown side and even after dyeing my hair I get some copper in my hair. Would it be okay to mix the 6-5 with the 6-3 since the 6-3 is green based? Thank you.
Hello there 👋 We have in IGORA Royal 6-63 It is a Chocolate(Warm Brown) Matte(Green) which could be a nice to control the warmth with the -3. Hope that this helps 🤎
What I’m understanding about Igora Royal -00 is that if the client has 90% grey then you’d use 20 volume, if they have less then it would be 30vol? If a client has no grey but wants a lowlight of lets say 8-00 and already has blonde white hair, id use 30vol vs a 10 vol because it’s really pigmented? I just want to make sure. Usually if I have a client with white blonde hair i tend to use a lower volume for deposit only, but with this line id need to use a higher volume?
This is a great question! If you're wanting 100% white grey hair coverage on hair that is 90% and above you would use the IGORA Royal Oil Developer 20 Volume. 90% and below you would use 30 Volume. However we would recommend that if you're just wanting pure deposit our IGORA Vibrance line has -00 Series for up to 70% white grey hair blending with our IGORA Vibrance Activator Lotion 13 Volume. You could use the IGORA Royal on the new growth for 100% Grey coverage and in the same foil place the IGORA Vibrance the mid-lengths and ends so you're using a much lower volume on the hair that has been lightened. We hope this helps 💖
Hi My hair is a mid brown colour and I've just bought IGORA Royal 1-1 & 0-22 with a 6% developer...how many ml of each colour do i use to achieve a good blue please? Thanks 😊
Hello there 👋 thank you for your question. The shade 1-1 is going to be a Level 1 (Black) with a tone direction of Blue, it's more of a Black with a reflection of blue. When using the 0-22 in the 1-1 it's so dark that you will hardly see more blue in the formula. If you're wanting a true bright blue color the best route would be to lighten the part of your hair you want to see blue, then add a direct dye like our CHROMAID Blue Intense Bonding Mask, onto the pre lightened hair. For best results we would recommend seeing a professional colorist. 💙
Hiya I'm buying the 7-1 colour cream colour mittleblonde cendre and the 20% vol peroxide. I will be toning my bleached highlights to a medium ash blonde. I can't see 7-1 on your chart.
Hey there! The chart showing 7-1 is at 11:57 in this Video. We would recommend however if your just toning your lightened hair to use the 10 Volume 3% IGORA Royal Oil Developer to prevent lifting any hair that isn't highlighted if your not wanting to break your base. Hope this helps 🖤
Hi, I was wondering, can I use 20vol developper with 9.5 series? Or can I mix 1:2 ratio (1 part 9.5-4// 2 part 10vol) to get a little bit of lift? Thanks
Hi! Good question, you can use IGORA ROYAL 9.5- series on pre-lightened or natural levels 9 and lighter to tone, 1:1 with IGORA ROYAL Oil Developer 10 Volume. You can them on natural white hair to refine, 1:1 with 20 volume. Both for up to 30mins.
Hey there! We would recommend for the roots/new growth to use the IGORA Royal 7-77 & 8-77 with 20 Volume IGORA Royal Oil Developer. For the ends you use the Demi IGORA Vibrance line to tone your mids-ends with 7-77 + 13 Volume IGORA Vibrance Activator Lotion for the mids and ends. Hope that this helps 💖 Both lines are mixed 1:1 Here is a link to watch our intro to IGORA Vibrance to learn more about the line. ruclips.net/video/ew29_jQjDsk/видео.html
To match medium blonde roots to vibrance 9-7 hair, will i get matchning lightening of my natural roots if I use Igora royal 9-7+30% or do i need to add highlift 12? Can i treat all of the hair with 9-7 + 30% developer if a want a slight lift in the lenghts (and only add the highlift in the roots area)? Xx Sophie
30% of my hair is grey and it grows very fast so I want a shade that can overshadow my growing grey hair. My Grey hair grows within a month or two and it’s quite evident with dark hair colors but I can’t use too fashionable hair color as well. Recommend a shade please or the mixing that can overshadow growing grey hair. Thank you in advance
Hi, my hair has been pre-lightened to level 9/10 and i’ve been using semi permanent dyes and now my hair is like greyish-blue-violet. If i want to go gunge/copper is it enough if i just use igora royal 8-77 or do i need to mix it with other color to correct the blue-violet on my hair?
Hello there! We would recommend first trying to remove as much of the old grey/blue/violet toner as possible first, by using the BLONDME Detox System. This will help budge off some of that old pigment before coloring. Filling the hair first using the Boosters(0-55 | 0-77) with 0-00 in IGORA VIbrance will help neutralize any old pigment that is still there after the detox making it easier for the final color to come in and do it's job. Hope that this helps.
Hello there! When mixing our color lines we recommend using the Developer/Activator that goes with the brand. If you are using IGORA ROYAL than you would mix your color 1:1 with the selected IGORA ROYAL OIL DEVELOPER. If you are choosing to use IGORA VIBRANCE you will mix your selected shade 1:1 with your selected IGORA VIBRANCE ACTIVATOR. Hope that this helps.
Hello! I’m with a bright red hair and recently i just tried 9.98 .. it’s really beautiful violet but the tone is a little bit dark for me. I want it more raspberry red (between red and pink) what are your recommendations of mixing?
We do have in IGORA VIBRANCE 9,5-98 which is similar but a more pastel tone, for hair that is pre lightened to a level 9. If you are wanting to be more dusty pink with a violet hue you could mix 9,5-1 which is a Cendre tone direction. Hope that this helps ✨
Hi Amber, I 've been using essensity (5-60 and 6-0 with 18 volume developer) for many years but unfortunately they are discontinued. I want to switch to igora royal and want to keep the same or close to the same hair color and need help. I have lots of gray hair but they are mainly on the top, closer to my forehead area. If I buy igora royal 5-6 and mix it with 6-0 with 30% developer, will I get similar results? Thank you!
Hello there no worries we now have IGORA Zero Amm that has the same free from ingredients but know you can use it with the IGORA ROYAL Oil Developers 🙌 We still have those shades available in the Igora Zero Range 5-60 + 6-0 now you would mix them with the IGORA 20 Volume Developer. Here is a video to learn more about the line. Please reach out to us on IG @SchwarzkopfUSA for any questions ✨ ruclips.net/video/EfczIaUZZ4k/видео.htmlsi=QIrFs32LMUqCxz3j
Hello there! We would not recommend using the IGORA ROYAL Neutralizers this way. They are used in our Igora Red boxes to help neutralize unwanted warmth in the hair. For a fashion shade that is a dark Emerald Green we would recommend lifting your hair first to at least a level 8 and using the Chroma ID Intense Bonding Masks Blue and Yellow to make your desired green shade. Here is a video to learn more about the Chroma ID line. Hope this helps 💚 ruclips.net/video/duvCbx5GObE/видео.htmlsi=0fBuoa0FsrCn2DUL
Hi I did a color fill on client hair it is a red/copper. She wants the color alburn I will be using a 6-77+ 7-57 maybe 6-00 to try to get to reddish Alburn any suggestions do you think I need to add any brown. And how many oz. Of each Igora colors Thanks
Always great to test out your color on a swatch first to make sure you get the results you're looking for. Try one with the 6-77 +7-57 and one with the added 6-00. Hope this helps, Josie Villay recently posted a cowboy copper close to you formula on her page. I'm at 8.1 right now even though I used the Igora 8.11 with a little bit of E-1, but its still not as gray as I wanted. If I use the E-1 with 10vol, 1:1, will my hair go super dark like the samples or just turn more gray but keep the base color at lever 8? What should I do?
Hello there! E-1 is no longer part of the IGORA ROYAL Portfolio in the USA. Please reach out to our partners at @schwarzkopfpro on IG for more information about how to use the E-1.
Hello there thank you for this great question. If you are just going darker and no need to cover greys we would recommend using our IGORA VIBRANCE Line which is our Demi Permanent that adds incredible shine and moisture to the hair. It has the same numbering system as ROYAL but you will use the IGORA VIBRANCE ACTIVATOR 1:1. Another reason it could look dull is if you went from a lighter color to the dark without filling the hair with the pigments it was missing before putting the dark color on your hair. When going at least 3 levels darker we recommend filling the hair with either a 0-55 (levels 8-9) 0-77 (levels 6-7) or 0-88 (levels 5 or darker) depending upon how dark your aiming to be. When you lift the hair you remove the underlying pigment that lives at that level and when you don't add it back into the hair the color can look hollow or muddy. Hope that this helps 💖
Hello 😊what oxidiser will i use please i curently have medium ash brown its gonna orange little from sun.I want to buy from this range 5-16 light ash brown to cover all the orange tones and have darker what oxidiser to use with it please 🙏 and is it 1:1 ratio? I dont have grey hair
Hello there 👋 Thank you for you question. If you are not having to formulate for Gray/White Hair Coverage, you will mix your selected shade 1:1 with your selected IGORA Royal Oil Developer. Hope that this helps. 💖
Hello there! Yes when going darker your will get great coverage with 10 Vol IGORA ROYAL OIL DEVELOPER. With that -1 it also will provide 100% Grey coverage on finer hair with 10 vol. Mix 1:1 and process 30-45 min. We hope this helps 🖤💙
Hi! Great presentation! I Just colored my hair which was precolored, with your Igora Royal 7-77 and a 1 :1 ratio of # 10 developer by Salon Care from Sally Beauty store. I LOVE THE COLOR! I would like to know which DEVELOPER of YOURS that would give me a little more "VIBRANCY, SHINE and a LITTLE more BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE HAIR". I do have Very little grey around the hairline facially from ear to ear ONLY. I HAVE VERY THICK BELOW SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND MY NEW COLOR SINCE 8/22/22 AND THIS IS IT, but I want to tweek it with YOUR RECOMMENDED products for the results that I mentioned above. PLEASE HELP AND ADVISE WHERE I CAN GET YOUR CHART BROCHURES FOR MY FUTURE RECORDS AS MY DAUGHTER MAY WANT A CHOCOLATE RED OR CHOCOLATE CARAMEL? She is precolored also and her hair does well with new coloring. Thnk you! Please respond! Gail
Hello 🤗 First of all I'd like to say that i am a huge fan of Igora Royal. Love the shades 😍 Anyway, i got a question. I dye my hair dark brown 🤎 (3-0) Well it's almost black 🖤 I love this colour but i realised how much i like the 9-98 shade 💜 so, you think this gonna work on my 3-0? ( Deep inside I know it won't 😅 but i have to ask to make sure😅) Thank you so much ❤
Love this question! Even though the IGORA Royal shade 9-98 would not lift previously colored hair we do have IGORA Royal Fashion Lights. They can lift up to 5 levels and deposit beautiful fashion shades into the hair at once. The L-89 would be a good option to add some fun bright Red/Violet tones into your hair. They are mixed 1:1 with 40 Volume IGORA Royal Oil Developer for off scalp only. Hope that this helps 🍒
Hello, thank you for sharing all of this knowledge. I do have a question for you - I have level 6 hair and really love the color payoff of 6-16. However, if I were to achieve a slightly more cool toned result, would it make sense to mix it with 6-12?
Yes you can! The 6-12 is a correcting shade so we would recommend doing some different swatches with some varied formulas first to get the exact tone you're looking for. Hope this helps. 💖
We have in BLONDME Pastel Toners Lilac which is a stunning shade that great for pre-lightened hair that is level 9 and above. Hope that this helps 💜 Here is a video to learn more about the BLONDME Toners. ruclips.net/video/uBd-HXCN4Nk/видео.html&lc=Ugzoc9YnrlXDhmF77Rt4AaABAg
Great question. You have a few different options depending upon what level you're wanting to tone out. 4-88, 5-88, 6-88 or even 9-98. In either IGORA Royal / Vibrance. You can also use 0-00 / Clear to dilute the level along with adding boosters like 0-88 or 0-99 to get more Red or Violet tones. We always recommend swatching out colors before to get your perfect shade. Send us a message at @SchwarzkopfUSA on IG or Schwarzkopf Professional USA on Fb for any other formulation questions. 💖
Great question ✨ With both options you will get different results, our -0 is our Natural tone direction which would brown your formula out making it more of a copper brown color. -4 in our line is a Muted Beige, which is a soft gold tone, and will support the copper making it more vibrant and golden. Best to test it out on a swatch first to see what results you like the best. Hope that this helps. 🧡🧡
Thank you for your question. With our IGORA ROYAL Line it can give you up to 3 Levels of lift on virgin hair. So depending on how dark your natural base is you could combine 9-98 with a darker shade like 6-99 which is a level 6 intense violet shade. Hope that this helps. Or if you want it to be more purple without the pink/red color that is in the 9-98 you could use the 6-99 by itself for a more true deep purple. If you want something much darker we do have a 4-99 as well. Hope that this helps 🍇💜
hi there, my virgin hair is dark brown to almost black. I want a nice violet shade for my hair. I am confused which shade should i go for? 0-99? I will not be bleaching my hair. I want it to look violet/dark plum purplish, with minimum red hints. Please help me if you can ❤
Hello there! If you're just wanting something to look violet in the sun 0-99 will give you a cast of the violet huge but not be very vibrant. We have in IGORA Royal | 4-99 | 5-99 | 6-99 | which are all beautiful bright plum violet shades. If you're looking for max vibrancy without having to bleach our L-89 is a Highlift fashion color that will lift natural darker bases 5 Levels and deposit beautiful rich tones. Here is a video to learn more about how to use them. Hope this helps 🍷💖
I use 12-0, 12-1 and E-0 with 40 volume and can't find where to purchase them. What are the new numbers or what is another process can I use to get the same result? Thanks
Hi i really want the 0-22 blue colour on its own can i just use that neutraliser colour as just the hair dye or does it have to be mixed with a normal colour
Hello there 👋 For more vibrant blue colors we would recommend using our Chroma ID line that is a direct dye that is also a conditioning Bonding Mask, for bright fashion colors. Here is a video to learn more about our Chroma ID line and how to use it. ruclips.net/video/duvCbx5GObE/видео.htmlsi=Aq0uwdHtJLz_s3fb
Great question. We wouldn't recommend using them alone to make a blue, If you're looking for a fashion color blue the CHROMA ID shades would be great for this. Here is the Class for CHROMA ID to learn more ruclips.net/video/XWk3oFumej4/видео.htmlsi=ldLHNdeI8eGB-D2x
Hello there, great question. When using the Fashion Lights you do need to use the IGORA Royal Oil Developer 40 Volume to Lift and Deposit the tones into the hair. It will not give the desired results without the developer. Hope that this helps ❤
Hi there I have client who is natural virgin hair colour black 2 she wants to go 2/3 shades lighter, brown colour and she has maybe 20% greys what colour combo and perx would you advise to lift her using your colour line neutral colour not to ash or warm please look forward to your response xxx
Hello there 👋 When Amber refers to browning out a shade she's talking about adding in a -0 into your red formula. With IGORA Royal we have a few different options to use for 100% Grey / white hair coverage. We have -0,-00, -1, -4 and -63. The -4 would be great support for a Red or copper shade since our -4 is a Beige/muted gold tone direction, and would really make that red pop! Unlike if you added a -0 into your recipe it would make it more of a reddish brown tone. We hope this helps 🔥
Hello Amber, I am so glad to find this channel! My hairdresser recommended to mix 8-11 (1:3 parts), 7-00 (1:3), and 7-10 (1:3) with 3%developer. Watching your video I found out that 2 reds can't be mixed with absolutes (7-10). What should be used instead? Is that the reason why the result is - very poor grey coverage? And should I use developer 6% instead of 3%? I hope you will see this post))
Hi there! Shades from the IGORA ROYAL Absolutes line can only be mixed with other Absolute shades, not with shades from the IGORA ROYAL Core line. Absolute Shades are to be mixed 1:1 with IGORA ROYAL Oil developer 30 volume for 30-45mins for grey/white hair up to 90%. For hair 90-100% white/grey hair, mix 1:1 with IGORA ROYAL Oil developer 20 volume for 30-45mins.
Thank you for explaining so thoroughly. How would you use the 9,9-8 with a 8-11? would this be on the dark (cool side) or on the pink/red side? Thank you
Great question! 8-11 & 9-98 would be a beautiful dark cooler pink shade. We always recommend swatching it out first to get the exact combination of colors you desire.
Great video! I am presently using Igora red box 6.0 15ml mixed with Igora Absolute 15ml 5.7 (discontinued) and Igora Absolute 6.5 30ml. It gives me a really warm brown with some auburn. In your video you mention that the 7-470 replaces the 5-7. You also mention that you shouldn't mix the red box with the Absolute line. Do you think if I mixed 45ml of 6.5 with 15ml of the new 7-470 I would get the same result?
Hello there! Thank you so much for your question. It is NOT recommended to mix the IGORA ROYAL (red box) with the IGORA ROYAL ABSOLUTES (taupe box) because the technologies are not the same. I'm not finding where the replacement for 5-70 was suggested, however a level 7 would not be the equivalent to a level 5. The number before the _- (dash) is your depth, and the numbers that follow the -__ (dash) are the tonal direction.
Just seeing your reply now. I am only using the Absolute 6-5 now. Really wish they didn’t discontinue the Absolute 5-7. Miss that little bit of copper.
My hair color right now is similar to 7-77 and my natural hair color is a dark brown. I want to be around the color 6-77 when i retouch the color. If I wanted to touch up the new root grow outs, what color and developer vol would you recommend? Thank you!
Depends on your root lvl. If you have a level 5 root you would need to use about 20 vol with 6-77. (Don't use 30 vol on roots, rather bleach them once to the same level of your dye and deposit with 13 vol) For your length: If you want them to match you should deposit with 13 vol bc the colour tends to turn out darker with 10 vol.
Hello there, it's always so hard to give color advice without being able to see you. We always recommend going to see a professional for their opinion on how to achieve your hair goals. 🖤
Hello there! You will need to mix one of our 100% Coverage shades into 9-11. What makes our line unique is that you have a few options to choose from. 9-1 offers 100% Coverage if you're looking to keep it more cooler. Our grey coverage formula is 2 Parts of your selected fashion shade (9-11) + 1 part of your Grey coverage shade (-0, -00, -1, -4 & -63). We hope this helps 🌟
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA many thanks for your reply! My mother really loves very deep cool undertone and 9.1 is not enough! I was very happy when I found 9.11 in igora list! But she has at least 90% whites. So I will mix 1 part of 9.1 and 2 parts of 9.11, is it right?!? so I will have very deep cool greyish color. Many many thanks from Italy!! ❤️
Hi there! The new 9-11 shade would be considered a fashion shade that would cover only 70%. You would need to intermix with wither a -0, -1 or -4 to get up to 100% coverage.
Great question! You will always mix the equal amount of developer into the color. So if you have 40g of color you'll need 40g of Developer. Hope this helps. 💖
Hi there! It is not recommended to add any boosters or neutralizer to any of the high lift colors as they are special formulated to lift at bases 6 and 7.
This is so confusing 😬 I want to use 5-7 light copper brown but I have no idea how to use these colors, how to mix in how much developer, could you please suggest? My hair color is medium brown, exactly 5, how much developer should I use to get copper in my hair and cover some grey, I don't have a lot but I would like to cover the Greys too.
Hello there! For best results with grey coverage in this line we recommend mixing 1 part of your grey coverage shade (-0,-1,-4 or -63) into 2 parts of your selected shade (5-7) mixed with equal amount of your selected IGORA Royal Oil Developer. We hope this helps 🧡

¡Hola! Si mira en nuestra página principal, ¡ofrecemos muchos videos que muestran educación en español! www.youtube.com/@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA/videos
Thank you for your question. We do recommend that you use developer to process our color. Using it without the developer can cause undesired results. We hope this helps. ✨
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA it took a month to receive a reply. Royal EO should have more information on it. I was told it to be used as a standalone when you want to lift a level of color.
Great question! It all depends on how many grams your starting out with in your formula. So for example if you have 40 grams of color all together, 15% of that would be 6 grams. If you had 60 grams of color 15% of your formula would be 9 grams. Hope that this helps 💙
It's tough for us to give a reliable place for you to purchase this, as we partner with professional distributors, such as Salonory.com. So, our best advice is to ask your stylist or find one that carries it. You could try searching online, but unfortunately, we cannot endorse non-professional retailers for this product. :-/
Great question. Even though both color shades sit at a Level 4, the 4-13 appears darker because of the cool pigments (Cendre[Blue/Violet] & Matte [Green]) in that shade. Cool colors will always appear darker than a Warm or Neutral shade. Hope that this helps 💚
This was an excellent video. So well-explained. I’ve been using Igora royale for a couple of years now (the same shade). I’m now looking forward to experimenting with some new shades.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and we hope you always have fun playing around with color! :-)
Loved this! Very informative and great explanations!
We're so glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching. :-)

Do the boxes have the undertone written on the box?
Hi
My hair is a mid brown colour and I've just bought IGORA Royal 1-1 & 0-22 with a 6% developer...how many ml of each colour do i use to achieve a good blue please?
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA thank you so much for this. It's really helped can't wait to try it 💜
Hi there! We recommend using a Demi permanent color (ie IGORA Vibrance) to deposit color over pre-lightened hair.
Would 20vol work with 977 & 877? My roots are a light brown and my hair is a faded light ish orange color

Hi ! I’m using 1-1 blue black my question is do I need to mixed it with a developer or just by itself will do the job my hair is 40% gray hair
Hello!! Is there any sls or ppd. Can you please tell me information about it. I can not find any information on that. Thank you!!@
Hi Amber, I 've been using essensity (5-60 and 6-0 with 18 volume developer) for many years but unfortunately they are discontinued. I want to switch to igora royal and want to keep the same or close to the same hair color and need help. I have lots of gray hair but they are mainly on the top, closer to my forehead area. If I buy igora royal 5-6 and mix it with 6-0 with 30% developer, will I get similar results? Thank you!
Forgot to say thank you! That was the most informational and clear video so far.
I really want to dye my hair emerald darkish green, could I just use 0-33 with a 30 or 40 vol developer?

Always great to test out your color on a swatch first to make sure you get the results you're looking for. Try one with the 6-77 +7-57 and one with the added 6-00.
Love this video - I always learn something . Great tips .
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching :-)
I bought 20 vol and 3-0. Not a lot of grays just wanted a nice dark brown. Hair just looks brown black and dull. What can I add? Did I go too dark eek
Would 10vol developer be enough to colour virgin brown fine hair(5-6lvl) in blue black 1-1?

Hi. I really want lilac coloured hair. Can I use the 0-11 by itself on pre highlighted blonde hair to get that lilac colour. Thanks x
What’s the best way to refresh color after using an L-88?
Great question. You have a few different options depending upon what level you're wanting to tone out. 4-88, 5-88, 6-88 or even 9-98. In either IGORA Royal / Vibrance. You can also use 0-00 / Clear to dilute the level along with adding boosters like 0-88 or 0-99 to get more Red or Violet tones. We always recommend swatching out colors before to get your perfect shade. Send us a message at @SchwarzkopfUSA on IG or Schwarzkopf Professional USA on Fb for any other formulation questions. 💖
Hi! I’m thinking of applying 7.77 to my hair. Would adding a bit of 6.0 or 6.4 town down the red a bit and make it more golden?
Great question ✨ With both options you will get different results, our -0 is our Natural tone direction which would brown your formula out making it more of a copper brown color. -4 in our line is a Muted Beige, which is a soft gold tone, and will support the copper making it more vibrant and golden. Best to test it out on a swatch first to see what results you like the best. Hope that this helps. 🧡🧡
Very clear explaination! Thank You
So glad you enjoyed this?! Thank you for watching!
If I mixed 9-98 with 0-22 and colored dark brown hair with it will it show up as dark purple on my hair?
Great explanation. Thanks!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
How can i get the written pages? Are they only in the swatch book?
The Charts that come with the Swatchbooks have the instructions for use booklet along with a quick how to use chart to hang in the color room.
Can I mix any developer with igora tube hair color? And can I wash my hair with any shampoo TIA
We always recommend to use the corresponding developer to the line that you're using for the best results. ✨
This was most informative, thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful!
I use 12-0, 12-1 and E-0 with 40 volume and can't find where to purchase them. What are the new numbers or what is another process can I use to get the same result? Thanks
Hi there! 12-1 and 12-0 are both still available! However, E-0 is now called Pastelfier and is in a red box.
Hi i really want the 0-22 blue colour on its own can i just use that neutraliser colour as just the hair dye or does it have to be mixed with a normal colour

My hair is bleached to level 6. Can I skip the developer when using igora royal fashion highlights red violet?
Hello there, great question. When using the Fashion Lights you do need to use the IGORA Royal Oil Developer 40 Volume to Lift and Deposit the tones into the hair. It will not give the desired results without the developer. Hope that this helps ❤
Hi there I have client who is natural virgin hair colour black 2 she wants to go 2/3 shades lighter, brown colour and she has maybe 20% greys what colour combo and perx would you advise to lift her using your colour line neutral colour not to ash or warm please look forward to your response xxx

Hello Amber, well done video first of all
But my only question is what you mean under “Brown it out”
Hello there 👋 When Amber refers to browning out a shade she's talking about adding in a -0 into your red formula.
Thank you, I think I'm going to stick to 8-19 and 8-46 for my roots lowlights.

(Don't use 30 vol on roots, rather bleach them once to the same level of your dye and deposit with 13 vol)
For your length: If you want them to match you should deposit with 13 vol bc the colour tends to turn out darker with 10 vol.

What do I need to mix with the fushchia or magenta? I'm trying to decide between the the two which to use?
Hi there! 9-98 is a close match to magenta.
The new 9.11 is 100% grey coverage? Do I need some -0 serie to mix with? Thanks. ☺️
How much developer would i use on 6-88 i have 2 tubes to mix
Great question! You will always mix the equal amount of developer into the color. So if you have 40g of color you'll need 40g of Developer. Hope this helps. 💖
Can I mix 0-22 with 12-2 for better neutralizing colour?
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA Thank you!

What does it mean when I’ve seen people say their base is 8.77 mixed with 7.77
Is it the two color shades n the chart? 18:23

The Muted Desert shades are 7-24, 7-42, 9-24 and 9-42.
What can I mix with 5-68 to lighten it up a bit?

Hello! E-0 is an additive into IGORA ROYAL color to add up to an extra level of lift. Stay tuned for educational videos.
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA it took a month to receive a reply. Royal EO should have more information on it. I was told it to be used as a standalone when you want to lift a level of color.
How many grams is 15 % & 1prt ?? Is it 5 grs ???
Great question! It all depends on how many grams your starting out with in your formula. So for example if you have 40 grams of color all together, 15% of that would be 6 grams. If you had 60 grams of color 15% of your formula would be 9 grams. Hope that this helps 💙
Thank you amber

Where do you buy Igora ?
It's tough for us to give a reliable place for you to purchase this, as we partner with professional distributors, such as Salonory.com. So, our best advice is to ask your stylist or find one that carries it. You could try searching online, but unfortunately, we cannot endorse non-professional retailers for this product. :-/

You're welcome 😊
is 4-13 darker than 4-0?
Great question. Even though both color shades sit at a Level 4, the 4-13 appears darker because of the cool pigments (Cendre[Blue/Violet] & Matte [Green]) in that shade. Cool colors will always appear darker than a Warm or Neutral shade. Hope that this helps 💚
What do u mean by LIFT?
Hi there! Lift means how many levels from dark to light using either lightener or color.
