This system and brand is SUPERIOR to anything else out there. I’m fifty. I have been coloring my hair since I was seventeen years old. I’ve been using IGORA ROYAL for about 5 yrs now. My hair has never looked better. I get compliments all the time. There is nothing else on the market that compares. Period. Amazing product and system! Great tutorial and instructor too!
I’ve been a stylist for a long time and I have to say that this has to be the clearest explanation of a product I’ve seen. Thank you for making it available to easily find for refreshers, too. My memory isn’t what it once was. 😉
At last I’ve been waiting for a video of tour like this. Thanks you transferring from Wella, I’ve found the results vary with Igora so far some super satisfying some I’ve had to reformulate.

Hey, fellow stylist here. I just did a client who has super resistant white hair. She wanted low-lights, I used 8-140, and 8-50 ( I made the mistake of not doing a level 7, so next time going to do 7-140 and 7-50). When she comes in, in a couple weeks, should I use the absolutes on the regrowth and then mix a matching formula of a demi on the previously colored hair? I'm not used to working on Grey hair clients, and I'm kinda bummed it didn't come out as dark as I was hoping.
Hey there great question! If you're trying to create a fashion shade we would recommend using Chroma ID to make it. With the neutralizers they work best mixed in with a shade, may not be as bright and vibrant when used alone. Hope this helps. 💙
I had highlights watched off so a bit bleached hair. I want to use 7-60 tone to cover up and with what percentage of developer should I use please? 20 or 30? Thank you
Thank you thank you! ❤ Love your line!! I This is wonderful! I use the professional color at home . Can a level 7 cover some white/ gray hair?? Was told it cannot, is that untrue? I fluctuate in color by a level 6. Sometimes I need and like to lift one shade. Natural color a mid brown, but like lighter. So confused if 7:00 is best or 7:4 ??? Sometimes it has been hard to cover but no damage. light waves, natural roots. I love the mutidemental look without any red leaning.💛💝
Great question. With IGORA Royal you can get 100% Coverage with | -0 | -1 | -4 | -63 | and if the hair is resistant we have the | -00 | with 25% more dye stuffs or the IGORA Absolutes that are premixed fashion shades with grey coverage and 30% more dye stuffs inside the tube for resistant hair. If you choose to use any of the Absolutes or -00 the recommended IGORA Royal Oil Developer we would recommend would be 30 Volume for hair that is 30-90% Gray/White hair that still has a lot of the natural hair mixed in. For hair that is 90-100% Grey/White 20 Volume is recommended. Hope that this helps ✨
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA Can I use a demi permanent? Or a demi mixed with...? Is it vibrance? My hair is only 20% gray at the roots? My light brown hair...I like it dimensional.
Can you please help. I have faded red color and i want to return to my natural color which is light-medium brown which shade should i use i dont want to make it too dark and should i use extra natural series
Hello, I have a quick question. I’ve been used the high lift color I’m getting tired. My hair is golden blonde. I want to go back the color little bit darker. The same brand what developer do I need Thank you so much.
Hello there, when using our IGORA ROYAL HIGHLIFTS they are made to be used with the 30 Volume IGORA ROYAL OIL DEVELOPER (for 3-4 levels of lift) or 40 Volume (for 4-5 levels of lift). We do not recommend using a 10 or 20 Volume with this product. If you are wanting to go darker the level 9- in the line can give you up to 2-3 levels of lift when using 20 or 30 Volume. Or if you're not wanting any lift and just straight deposit the IGORA VIBRANCE range is great for this. Please send us a message on fB or IG at @SchwarzkopfUSA for more help with formulation. ✨
I’m currently trying to choose an appropriate formula for myself. I’m a level 6-5 brunette, with a warm toned chocolate esque Demi. But truth be told it’s faded quite a bit. I’m stuck between choosing 6-65 or the 6-68. My hair tends to pull red naturally, but I’d like the chocolate colour to be rich but not too on the red side. So I’m trying to figure out which colour would be best and which other colour out of the series I should potentially be mixing with it. HELP 😅
Hi there! Thank you for your question. When looking at our Numbering system the numbers that come after the - are the tone directions. So -65 Is a Chocolate Gold and -68 Is a Chocolate Red. We also have a -63 option which is a Chocolate Matte(Green), This gives you a rich chocolate shade with the green helping keep any unwanted red tones away. Hope that this helps 🤎
If my hair is already dyed red but I’m looking for a lighter more vibrant red violet, can I mix this l89 with 30 volume or 20 volume instead of 40 volume?
Is the only difference between pastelifer and clear the ammonia content? And if so, would adding pastelifer increase the alkalinity of the level you add it to?
We love this question! The difference is just that, Pastelifer will add an extra level of shift to your color with haveing a white background in the color that will soften and pastelise the pigments in the hair. Where as the Clear 0-00 will dilute your shade but it's a clear background and not change the tone direction just dilute the pigments. Hope that this helps 💖

I have highlighted hair to cover my grey which I have all over my hair now, but I don’t want dark colors. What color can apply to cover the highlights but at the same time maintain a light color hair
6-00 natural light brown , I also have highlighted light hair & Ive been using 5-4 & 6-4 mixed on my roots and blended down a bit...it gives a lovely dark blonde /light brown beige tone. The 6-00 is a natural light brown with no added tone. im going to start using it on my roots and use 6-4 on lengths...remember to give it long enough to take on the greys or you could add a little heat to help it. Greys can be tougher & take a bit longer to develop
Hey there! any Igora Royal tone that has -00 after the level means that it is a natural tone direction and is extra pigmented for white coverage on coarse, resistant hair. The correct way to mix it is 1:1 with 30 vol/9% I hope this clears things up for you.
You can find this IGORA ROYAL Book at your local distributor or online at SALONORY. Prices Vary depending upon distributors. Hope that this helps 💖 salonory.com/en_US/Hair+Color+Swatch+Books/c/Swatch-Books?q=%3Arelevance%3ApsvBrand%3A35428&text=
-00 has extra pigments in them for coverage on coarse, resistant hair and are made to be used with 30vol/9% -0 can be used on all other hair types for full coverage with all developers
We would not recommend using 0-88 with 40 Volume Developer. We have an intense bonding mask in Chroma ID that is Red. This would be great to use, giving a red hue to the hair in the sunlight but will not lift it.
And/or can I mix absolutes 7-710 with royal 5-57 w 20 vol to get the same results? I am really shooting for a wella color charm 6rg/544. It just does not cover as well.
Hi! You re video is absolute stunning. But i have a question. I want to dye my hair i have almost 50%grey roots and i want to use a dye that will light my hair more. Now iam at the 7 natural shade. Can i mix igora absolute 8.60 with something from igora royal with 9% developer? To have all grey hair covered and lighter hair? Because the pallete of absolutes it is very small. Not much choices.
In IGORA ROYAL we have the SILVER WHITES Range that are great for maintaining natural grey hues. The are 4 shades in the range SILVER | DOVE GREY | GREY LILAC | SLATE GREY. If the hair is 100% white and you just need to refine and remove yellow the Silver would be a great option. You can intermix any of these 4 shades together to create a custom shade, always mix 1:1 with IGORA ROYAL OIL DEVELOPER 10 Volume. Hope that this helps 🤍
Can you remind me- the mixing ratio for the /00 range + a fashion shade like 6/6 on gray hair and keep tone but also keep coverage? Is it one part 00 + two parts 6/6 or is it 1 part 6/6 + two parts /00? I’m thanks 🙏
Yes of course! Our grey coverage formula when mixing with a fashion shade will be 1 part of selected grey coverage shade (-00) to 2 parts of selected fashion shade (6-6). Hope that this helps ✨
Hi! Thank you for the informative video. I’m using the line for the first time on a model to test out the chocolate series. Any advice would be appreciated! I have a starting level 3 and am using 6-63 with 30 vol mid to ends. For the roots there is minimal grey but I want to cover it. If I’m understanding your breakdown correctly, would I do 2 parts of 5-63 to 1 part 5-0 with 20 vol to get a deeper root with grey coverage? Or may I go in with just 5-63 at the roots with 20 vol - just would be anticipating only 70% coverage of greys? Thank you so much!
so we don't need bleach with these?? I have darkest brown virgin asian hair. and i want like a wine red hair which is not too bright but visible in normal light.
Hello there Larazeli 👋 Depending on what level you are naturally 2 or 3, you can get up to 3 Levels of lift with IGORA ROAYL Red Boxes Mixed with the 30 Volume IGORA ROYAL OIL DEVELOPER (1:1). We have some beautiful red shades at a level 4 and 5 that are in the -68 (Chocolate Red) -88 (Red Extra). The -68 Would be a primary tone of Warm Brown with a Secondary tone of Red, almost like when you look at a cherry cola, inside lighting it shows rich and brown but in the light, you can see the red. If you want it to be a little more vibrant the -88 could be mixed into your formula to intensify. Hope that this helps 🍒🥤 You can always find the Color Chart to look at our shades on our E-Acadamy here www.schwarzkopf-professional.com/com/en/colour/igora.html
Pls help me,i dye with igora 6.0 and i get darker brown almost black. I know 6.2 i think is grey,i dont want gray or too light redhead i want brown medim ,no brown black as i get with 6.0 what should i mix it with ?
Use 7.0 instead of 6.0. And if 7.0 turns out too dark then use 8.0 or mix 7 and 8 together. 6.0 turns out very dark on me as well, I usually mix 7.0 and 8.1

Hi I love your video! Excuse my ignorance I just want to get Igora !! my hair is 40 percent gray hair my hair is dark , if I want to get a hair color to get blue black which is color I need to get
Hello there thank you for your question. We have, in IGORA ROYAL 1-1. The number before the dash is the level, 1 (black), and the number after the dash, is the tone direction -1 Cendre (Blue/Violet). The shades in IGORA ROYAL that provide up to 100% Gray White hair coverage are | -0 | -00 | -1 | -4 | Hope that this helps. 🖤
We love this question 0-00 has not level or tone direction and it is going to dilute the intensity of the shade but not the tone direction. Where as Pastelifier has a white back ground with a Cendre tone direction and it will a softer pastel tone direction. Here is a video with Ian breaking this down in depth with a great side by side visual between 2:10-4:46 ruclips.net/video/xu4zckin68c/видео.htmlsi=RQXkscvyIq5or1NA Hope this helps 💜

I want a red brown hair color more of a red auburn look. My natural base is 4-5 with a hint of orange (my hair is not virgin). Can i mix 5-7 and 5-88 with 30% ox for my desired color or should i only use 5-68 only with 30% ox ?or can i mix 5-7 and 5-80 absolute?
I'm not being a salesman here, and I believe no one connects or helps out for free. But I'm offering you being your consultant for free. Networking is the best option to get through anything.
My haird was boxed dyed (brown-dark) and i tried with L-89+9% oil developer. In room light my hair is dark cherry/violet/red. And when i am out on the sun my hair is exactly how they have the color L-89 on the chart. It is red/violet - but like burning fire! It is perfect! I just made one mistake - i put also 9% developer on my roots and now they are radioactive red😂😂😂😂 I will try to repair them with same color but 6% developer next time🎉 But yes, i have tried a lot of colors and by far this is the most perfect color. My hair is not fried, it is soft and silky.
Hello there! Thank you for your comment about the L-89. We do not recommend using the IGORA ROYAL FASHION LIGHTS (Purple boxes) on the scalp. We have formulated them to be for off-the-scalp applications or in foils. For your roots we would suggest trying the IGORA ROYAL (Red boxes) 6-88 | 6-99 | 5-88 | 5-99 | These are interminable with each other or can be used alone, but give you brilliant red and violet hues. We recommend mixing these shades with your choice of IGORA ROYAL OIL DEVELOPER. Hope that this helps ✨

Light brown extera natural igora royal in Canada what does mean?
Hey there! any Igora Royal tone that has -00 after the level means that it is a natural tone direction and is extra pigmented for white coverage on coarse, resistant hair. The correct way to mix it is 1:1 with 30 vol/9% I hope this clears things up for you.

Can I use the 0-88 red concentrate on its own with a 40 vol developer on natural jet black hair? will it give results?
We would not recommend using 0-88 with 40 Volume Developer. We have an intense bonding mask in Chroma ID that is Red. This would be great to use, giving a red hue to the hair in the sunlight but will not lift it.

Hi there! Inside the USA you can only buy our color products from a professional distributor.
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA I see that there are the products on Amazon.. are those legit ?
Please where can I get the number identification chat for the colors🙏🏾
Great question! You can these charts at www.schwarzkopf-professional.com/com/en.html Hope that this helps 💖
I need a high cool lift which also cover greys without any warmth…….🦄
so we don't need bleach with these??
6.0 turns out very dark on me as well, I usually mix 7.0 and 8.1
Hello there thank you for you question. We would love to help troubleshoot this with you please send us a message on IG @SchwarzkopfUSA so that we can better assist you.

What number should i go for to have my virgin black hair coloured violet, without any hints of burgundy?
What depth do you want to be ?
@@quangvinhdinh9274 I've no idea what that means, I am looking for a plum/amethyst purple
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA thank you I love your video the way you explain things! Makes it very easy
I miss beautiful toners on blonde bases 😢 i think it’s more for just colouring grey and glazing darker colors
whats the difference between pastelfier and clear?
We love this question 0-00 has not level or tone direction and it is going to dilute the intensity of the shade but not the tone direction. Where as Pastelifier has a white back ground with a Cendre tone direction and it will a softer pastel tone direction. Here is a video with Ian breaking this down in depth with a great side by side visual between 2:10-4:46 ruclips.net/video/xu4zckin68c/видео.htmlsi=RQXkscvyIq5or1NA Hope this helps 💜
You just helped me sooo much

I want a red brown hair color more of a red auburn look. My natural base is 4-5 with a hint of orange (my hair is not virgin). Can i mix 5-7 and 5-88 with 30% ox for my desired color or should i only use 5-68 only with 30% ox ?or can i mix 5-7 and 5-80 absolute?
Thank you !!
You're welcome! 💜

I just made one mistake - i put also 9% developer on my roots and now they are radioactive red😂😂😂😂
I will try to repair them with same color but 6% developer next time🎉
But yes, i have tried a lot of colors and by far this is the most perfect color.
Love it tku
So happy you loved it! ❤️❤️
@@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA What can be a nice chocolate not with red I have like a Cooper know
Hello,
your work is absolutely amazing ❤please, is it possible to consult with you via email (or different place where i can sent you picture 🙏🏻) about a specific hair shade? I can't estimate the specific Igora number for that color, and I don't have good experience in Slovakia with hair salons. 🙄
