Seems like Reed came from a great family. You can tell he has a good head on his shoulders and he going to put in the work.
It might take some time but Reed going to be a part of the rotation sooner rather then later
Reed Sheppard is so poised for being so young. He did not use a single filler word. Be fully answered every question asked, even if it was a somewhat repetitive question. I was super impressed. His attitude is very positive and his excitement and readiness is evident. Stone and Udoka definitely like this young man and trust him. Very glad to see such a strong relationship so quickly. That will only help onboarding him more effectively with the rest of our team.
Good pod Jackson. all things pointing positive for Reed. the most important thing I heard in the 790 interview was Stone say ( the goal is to grow it organicly and we think we can ) this is exactly what I want the Rockets to do. this is also the reason I really like the trade the Rockets did with Brooklyn increasing our draft capital and pushing it a little further out. we have some really high end guys and we have the right coach. I expect that combo to put us on the map this coming season

Reed is going to have a really high floor, but I can see him absolutely blowing out his expected ceiling. He has the mental toughness and desire to really take his skills to the next level.
Super thrilled the Rockets drafted him. Not only does he fill a need, I think he was the best player in the draft as well.

Im backing stone in how they rate sheppard as the top draft prospect, as everything ive seen and heard about him so far looks like he’s going to fit in straight away and has alot of potential, not only as a sniper with 3’s but also with high bball IQ and his general enthusiasm for the game!.. im very impressed so far! 👌 go you mighty rockets!! 🙌🍻🚀
I agree but to be fair I think this is indeed a pretty weak draft. That being said yes I agree: Reed is the best player in this draft. Maybe not the best "prospect" due to his perceived ceiling, but certainly the most ready to be an impact player.
