You probably know now 😅, but it's "Miraculous -- The Adventures of Ladybug & Chat Noir", a French magical super-heroes (yeah you wouldn't guess there since it's a shipping vid 😅) series set in Paris which was licensed by Disney in the USA and elsewhere.
It managed to attract a sizeable international fanbase even before it was finalized and broadcasted anywhere, thanks to a (without dialogue, but with music) very well-done and exciting anime-like 2D concept-trailer posted on RUclips.
Mind you, it had a TVTropes page just for the trailer, long before (at least 18 months and it may have been even earlier) the revamped final 3D version began airing.
The biggest change was the almost complete reworking of Chat Noir's civilian self from a brooding, tall, aloof, very elegantly, strictly clothed yet already blonde guy named Felix (an ironic name since he was conceptualized then as bearing the power of bad luck) to the more cheerful, sunny, sociable, laid-back but still with issues Adrien. A character named Felix was later reintroduced in the show but his personality vastly differs from his two counterparts. Miraculous has plenty of action, suspense, ship tease and funny moments. It may well be currently the most successful French youth show ever.
Most of the scenes used here are from the 3rd season where Marinette (aka Ladybug, the pigtailed girl. She's half-Chinese even if it doesn't really shows physically save for her hair colour) begins dating Luka (the tall and serene blue-haired guitar boy) despite having been madly in love with Adrien (the blonde guy) since the beginning of the schoolyear.
Adrien, on the other hand, starts dating Kagami, a Japanese girl who has recently moved in to Paris with her mother who is an accointance of Adrien's father (this quickly becomes a plot point). She goes to the same school as Adrien and Marinette and also attends fencing classes with him. Adrien gets a crush on her the second she takes off her fencing mask in her introductory episode... While his super-hero persona has in fact been in love with Ladybug since their first encounter (and of course, they must not know each other's real identity for safety, otherwise, no dramedy 😆🤭 !).
As Adrien is unable to seduce Ladybug as Chat Noir (coz' Marinette loves Adrien and Chat Noir's personality and behaviour are noticeably different), he finally gives in to Kagami's straithforward advances and asks her out on a first date. But deep down he is still confused in his heart about his feelings towards Ladybug, Kagami and even Marinette, as they have already grown to be close friends. At the beginning he is even mildly green-eyed towards Luka.
Though they manage to share quality time together, his super-hero duties quickly ruin his relationship with Kagami. It doesn't help that, having a past of being very lonely, Kagami can be quite jealous and possessive at times, with trust issues to boot, making her easily tricked into believing Adrien cheats on her.
--And yet, despite all her flaws, Kagami's still one of my favorite characters. Deep down under her tough exterior, she's simply a very fragile young girl with self-esteem issues, easily broken and desperately in need of company, affection and tenderness, all kind of things she doesn't get from her mother. But she won't cry to the face of people, only alone, as she has to "keep face". All of this makes just makes me wanting to give her a good lasting hug.--
In the meantime, Marinette doesn't manage to get Adrien at all, despite all the sweetness and understanding of Luka (qualities Adrien also has). Here too, her super-heroine duties put a heavy toll on the relationship. Both Kagami and Luka end up falling prey several times to the Big Bad evilization's spell.
One of the starting key concepts of Miraculous was to follow the prints of Japanese and US creators who don't shy away to set their stories in their own cities of New York, Chicago or Tokyo. In fact the Tokyo example is probably the most influential, as it still has an exotic foreign feel for most of anime viewers (combined with the Japanese way of life) yet this doesn't hinder the viewers's implication into the story and the characters. French animation productions mostly used neutral, imaginary or far away settings before (one successful example may be Wakfu). Miraculous prominently features well-known Parisian landmarks and also some far less known ones like Paris' chinatown.
Since its broadcasting debuts, Miraculous got multiple dubs (even a Chinese one) and the fandom has accordingly steadily grown to...basically all across the world if the idioms used by FMVs posters are to be trusted. English, American, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Hindi if I recall correctly, French, etc.
But the number of videos and comments posted in Spanish is overwhelming, which may point at Miraculous being for some reason particularly popular in Latin America.
Strangely, I find extremely few fanmade vids or even comments in French. Perhaps because even if I'm French myself I use English(-speaking) keywords, songs and artists to do my research for MiraculousLadybug FMVs.
Though I also suspect the public watching Miraculous in France might be a magnitude younger than in other countries, as it is still marketed as a kid's show despite having almost all the characters in the last year of the French equivalent of middle-school and dealing with related issues (mostly anger-management and dating problems, relationships with parents, grief, bullies, wondering about what they'll do later in life, grades?...not so much 🤭).
