Honestly, Luka puts Marinette before himself, he is so sweet and when Marinette feels jealous when other girls are flirting with Adrien, Luka just tells her to go off to him without think of himself. I'm an Adrinette shipper but Luka is so perfect, it's a hard choice. But I love seeing Marinette with Adrien so it's so hard to chose.

Everybody is talking about how Adrien doesn’t deserve Marinette because he’s been clueless for so long, but c’mon now, Marinette has never actually told him how she feels and she goes so far to hide it that she tells everyone who knows not to tell him (“I wouldn’t say that you’re a good friend”). I can hardly see how that’s his fault, even if he misses a lot of the hints. Plus, let’s be real here, Marinette kinda acts like a disastrous stalker around him a lot, so it’s not that surprising he doesn’t outwardly like her. She doesn’t act like her usual endearing self when he sees her.
If anything, Luka is the one who deserves better, as well as Chat Noir. They both are so caring towards her, and yet she blows them off for someone she won’t even confess to and who she barely talks to. (Luka has it worse than Chat because, while Ladybug tries not to string Chat along, Marinette gladly strung Luka along several times in the series). If we’re being real, Kagami deserves better for practically the same reason.

I was always mad at luka for messing up mari’s chance with adrien but from this video I know that luka is so much better than adrien because he loves her and still respects the fact that she is in love with adrien. Personally I’m an Adriennette shipper BUT I do feel like Lukanette is probably ship that’s most likely gonna happen either first or for the rest of it due to the fact that Adrien would only start realising he likes Mari if he found out she was Ladybug which would just lead to Chat Blanc again. I think the sad part about this is that Adrien only reveals his "true" feelings for Marinette when he discovered she's Ladybug, as if any other girl could reveal to be Ladybug and he would fall for them, not the true Marinette. Yeah, Luka is an awesome guy and I also wished there was people like Adrien too even though he's broken Marinette's heart multiple times without even realizing it. I just think he's a great guy too because he's really nice and deserves a lot, and so does Marinette. Even though he's broken Marinette's heart more than once, he still deserves a lot because he's had his heart broken too, and he's suffered a lot too from the loneliness of his past, when he had no friends. I just know he's been through A LOT. He seems like a great guy but he just needs to open his eyes a lot more, like Luka does. He knows Marinette is in love with Adrien while Adrien has no idea. Luka also knows when Marinette is upset and always tries to help cheer her up. Adrien tries cheering Marinette up too when he realizes she's upset and is also really nice to her, but Luka is probably nicer though. I'm just saying we need guys like them, Luka that know when someone is down and cares for others happiness, and Adrien who tries cheering someone up whenever he's around. They are both just great people and I wish we had guys like them in this world. Guys that understand how someone is feeling(I'm kinda talking about Luka in this part though so yeah)and guys that know how to cheer someone up. That would just be awesome. Sometimes I kinda get jealous of Marinette because she has two guys like them.

(her feelings for him aren't going anywhere mind you) She doesn't even stalk him like she used to, that was earlier in the series when her crush started to develop and she was obsessing over him

She's grown so much so far throughout out the series and even tho it's not exactly the same we have seen cat noir do and say things out of jealousy as well. Marinette is not a bad person and she does deserve happiness just like anyone else in the show (including CHLOE)

Im reading comments, and I'm glad Luka being in the show has opened people's eyes (including mine) to how obsessed and creepy Marinette is around Adrian.
She's a borderline stalker at this point honestly.
But with Luka, She's not weird with him, she can express her feelings around him, and if she does something clumsy awkward or silly, he doesn't make fun of here or just look at her weirdly (like Adrian), he instead uses it to flirt with her a bit.
And not the over exaggerated flirting Cat Noir does. But more subtle. And he leaves her alone if he recognises that she isn't in the mood.

To be completely honest, I think the one who should treat someone better is Marinette. She should treat Luka better because he deserves more than just the go-to guy. And she should treat Adrien more than just a prize/possession, treat him like a true friend, a human being and not an obsession. Those two deserve better.

Although I agree, I do have some mixed feeling about the way you worded it. By that I mean, we all know they are young and I don’t see a difference with adrien and the way he treats ladybug except for their personalities, Luca is more mature since he’s older and knows when to back off and is just a wiser person in general. The way you make it seem is that marinette is purposely treating adrien like something materialistic and not real and how she keeps leading Luca on. A better way to word it is to notice that marinette is a shy girl so what other way is she supposed to portray her feeling then getting a bit obsessive, that then leads on to idolizing someone as if they were an item not a person. With Luca, she’s usually really friendly until the ending episodes and the special where she is trying to forget about adrien as you can see if you watched the scene with marinette and Luca riding to catch up to the bus leaving for New York. She’s kisses him in the cheek to show admiration and is slightly saying I’d like you a lot if If not for adrien which I can see that coming off as indecent. I’m not expecting a reply, just sharing my perspective :)

U aren't wrong but aren't right. Mari doesn't want to be with Luka because she still likes Adrien. And she is trying to get over him bc she wants him to be happy. You can very *CLEARLY* see that
the show makes it look like Luca is just a go-to guy or just a second love interest because of how Tom written him 😐 he literally has no struggles, no ambitions, no flaws and nothing interesting to be invested in him like how we are invested in Adrien as an abused child who thinks he lost his mom but is actually in a coma under his house while his father is actually the villain he was fighting against as Chat Noir. Luka's just, there. Serving as a second love interest to spice up the love triangle. The first thing we know about him is that he likes Marinette and that just shows how he was just thrown in there for plot. I just wish they added more closure or background to Luca instead of just being "the second love interest" or they're just doing this on purpose to make people root for Adrien more because we understand his struggles.
