Very Interesting to Find a Missing Amazon Package when you were Cleaning out your Truck. 😬👍🙏
One of the few perks of getting old is finding out what's in the Amazon package that I ordered 2 days before. Another is the ability to hide my own Easter eggs. The memory is the second thing to fail.
Dan, I have mentioned in the past that your headlights NEED an upgrade. At 4:40 a truck was passing you, and the headlight difference is significant. Check it out. They have some excellent conversation that do not need modifications to install. Be safe!
I watched that several times, how many axles are on the trailer of that truck that’s passing Dan 4:43 Behind the mud flaps it looks like there’s 6 axles with the most rear axle raised. Are there really 6 axles or is that an optical illusion of sorts? I’ve never seen a trailer with 6 axles in that configuration, I’ve seen heavy load trailers with many axles but not like this. I don’t drive truck so this is new to me, I’m not familiar with this.
In Michigan it's up to 11 axles and 164,000 lbs.

one thing you dont want to park next to, in a truck stop, with your side vents open at night, is a cattle or livestock hauler. if your not use to the smell, it will keep you awake all night unless you move. never had the "pleasure but was warned about it.

Lumberton North Carolina easily wins my vote for the least friendly town in the United States. I bicycle toured all 48 continuous states and never received such an unwelcome reception from the locals. I will never have anything to do with this place.

I just watched an older video of yours where you said that you suspected you might have allergies. I was allergic to almost everything environmental since I was a teenager. Many years later in my early 50’s I noticed that I wasn’t bothered by them as much. I went and got tested again and I’m now allergic to NOTHING environmental and a minor allergy to one chemical found in soaps and shampoos ect.
I was shocked to learn no allergies to anything environmental, the doctor informed me that our allergies can change by the hour. Example: allergic to cats but nothing else today and tomorrow not allergic to cats but you could be allergic to a hundred other things. I know someone who was taking allergy medication for many years and I told her about my case and she went and got tested again and sure enough many things she used to be allergic to she no longer is and she had some new allergies but they were relatively mild and not bothersome, she’s no longer taking medication for allergies 👍🏻
Pardon the long comment but I wanted to share that information with others regarding the changes in allergies from one day to the next.

It's always (at least most of the time) fun and interesting to find an Amazon package and you can't remember what you ordered. Brings back memories of Christmas morning. I have ordered a tool or part and upon receipt, I find that I already had one. Always good to see your videos. I-65, exit 328 in North Alabama. I get on I-65 often and always look for the big orange truck with a flatbed.
I want one of those CanAm boxes if they ever load an extra.😂
The more storage space you have in the truck, the more “junk “ you end up carrying.

Crazy fuel price increases in the Midwest. In my home town in Wisconsin. 2 weeks ago $ 2.65 / gal with the discount using the carrier I'm leased to fuel card
This weekend $ 3.67 with discount
Things are tough right now, low freight availability , low rates and now fuel prices on the increase
I'm very thankful I've low over heads with a paid off truck I bought new in 2017...
,,, darn Sylvania headlights ,,, ! ,,, they used to suck in water and shutt all my lights down . Maybe still do .

Dan Dan the professional flat deck man. First time I think you showing some night driving. It’s a shame that diesel is so expensive and in 24 hours it goes up 14 cents a gallon. I remember as a kid being a gas jockey and pumping diesel into Grey Hound buses at 25 cents a gallon. It’s not right at all. With not a lot of freight it’s got to be tuff out there. Glad to see a video from you Dan. The way I see your better off carrying it then you have it when ya need it. Dan have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring.

Holy cow the Sadler Bros. truck stop, I use to stop there often qhen I hauled boxes for coven and don't hold me to it but I believe there was a Sadler Bros. at the Emporia exit in VA. but can't remember I haven't run east in a long time I normally stay Louisiana and TX maybe MS to out west n back lol

Loves up here is Higher price than everyone else as much as sixty cents a gallon. Three miles away from the interstate exit makes a big difference. Kinda feel sorry for the diesel pickups that think they need to pay that price because it is right at the exit.
