Excellent! I am a new subscriber for sure! Would like to know what your mics are connected to? Also, what software program are you using? You sound awesome! Thank you...Steve
Oh…nice, thanks for subscribing, Steve 😀! I use two CC8s from Austrian Audio (activated hipass @ 60 hz) directly into my uad apollo interface. There I use the Neve 88RS channel strip as a preamp, EQ and comp section bypassed. My DAW is Nuendo by Steinberg. Luckily my guitar sounds very balanced so I hardly use any EQ. (Although in this case I deviated from my rule a bit because I wanted a slightly more brilliant, more flamenco-sounding sound, which is why I lowered the lower mids a bit around 400 Hz and activated the hipass at 100 Hz…) What I consider indispensable is the plugin soothe from oeksound to get some resonances under control and a bit of transparent compression with the tla 100a from uaudio. a short reverb on it and you're done….cheers, Thomas
