First time coming across this podcast. I was hooked from the beginning! One of my biggest takeaways was writing what I want to experience with my husband. When she said she wanted him to like her being around his friends, I felt like I wasn’t alone with that. Also when Terry said he was making space for his wife. That was just beautiful.
This interview is AMAZING! Laterras knows who Donni is meant for and as he knows that a certain brother is getting himself together to possibly be with her! Im loving their transparency 🎉
My biggest take away from this episode is when Donnitalked about giving herself 10-15 pages of her journal blank to come back later on to ADD what she has identified with herself as growth in every aspect of life concerning what has evolve. That was genius to me for accounting one's personal development. AWESOME!!!

I have a Google Doc of core values that continues to grow as I evolve in my God-given purpose. This episode was the most enlightening podcast I've ever listened to. So many gems! Finding your core values in a person as opposed to a type. And there is something I've never thought of... Jumping from friendship to my fiancée. ❤ I believe friendship should be one of the foundations before moving to being anything else to that person. So much more i pulled from this episode. I loved the transparency.
I completely enjoyed this segment. The transparency, chemistry, and vulnerability displayed between a black woman and a black man was beautiful. It looks like you both stopped time around you and we were watching your pillow talk. Beautiful! ❤ Platonic or not, either way we need to see more genuine black love and discussion.

I absolutely like the integrity element Laterras mentioned at 46:05-46:30..I have always struggled with this aspect of talking to different people and in my experience some men aren’t courageous enough to be honest when they’ve found the one. So I try to stay away from this because in the end it’s more risky to pick up the emotional pieces because often times you find out the man has found the one from his actions, eg ghosting! Or through the grapevine. So I just like how Laterras said that he handles people gently! It’s so important to handle each other’s hearts with care.
I totally get Laterras with helping others. 😢 It makes me happy, but sometimes it hurts my pocketbook. 😄❤ Scripture tells us to help others, so continue to do what the Lord wants brother.

I’ve been following Dear Future Wifey for a few years now and I’ve listened to many of his interviews with other podcasters and I will say you asked some thought provoking questions and pulled out more intimate details of his last relationship, his marriage, and the woman he was in a situationship with!! Wow, several of the values & characteristics on my list of desires in my husband mirror those shared from Donni’s list. To be honest it’s refreshing to hear I’m not the only one who desires these things in a husband. Although I am not big on journaling, I felt inclined several years ago to write out my list. I also wrote a prayer of petition for my husband and a 2nd list which focuses on We (What I envision for me & my husband and I). For example, we draw one another closer to God. This was a really great episode! ❤️

As a young spirited 64, 1:36:59 I LOVE how Donni put into words some of my self-awareness behaviors. I'm an empath, and I nurture everything, but nurturing ME has been the most rewarding behaviors ever. I am lovingly and patiently looking forward to whom God has for me, and in the meantime, I continue to make sure my grass is presentable❤
It would be really wonderful if Laterras started speaking a Bible verse and a lady with him finished it and came into agreement with it and its meaning for him. It’s really not that hard to be “in sync” with the worldly things of this culture and the messages we’ve grown up with. The world is all around us. How hard is it, really, to “connect” and quote a song or movie line that all we grew up on? 😞The deeper/rarer things are the things of The Spirit and that is far lovelier and much more precious to find. I pray he finds this precious blessing.🕊

It took me 12 days but I finally got a chance to sit and watch this interview. 🙌🏽 As a relationship coach and recent Dear Future Wifey Guest, I just wanna shout out Laterras for being such a testament to personal growth, accountability, and CONTINUOUS SELF WORK. This was just…. A phenomenal interview. I’ve never seen an interview with Donni before. Ummm…She’s incredible. I think her closing was INCREDIBLE. This was just a HEALTHY discussion about dating experiences and expectations. It gives me hope for humanity!😅🤣 Love the natural chemistry they have. I’m sure the DFW episode is gonna be just as bomb as this one. They are both great communicators so they dialogue so well. Love this right here! I actually wrote a letter to God about my husband yearS ago & it mostly contained core values. To be L.I.T. it also contained some physical attributes as well. I'm 6'1" & would like my husband to be tall. You have not if you ask not...right? I'm glad I watched this. Gorgeous mature woman, who knows what she wants. I respect it. I love seeing women who own amd walk in growth. I couldnt have been able to guess her age till she said it.
Wow, several of the values & characteristics on my list of desires in my husband mirror those shared from Donni’s list.
To be honest it’s refreshing to hear I’m not the only one who desires these things in a husband.
Although I am not big on journaling, I felt inclined several years ago to write out my list. I also wrote a prayer of petition for my husband and a 2nd list which focuses on We (What I envision for me & my husband and I).
For example, we draw one another closer to God.

As a young spirited 64, 1:36:59 I LOVE how Donni put into words some of my self-awareness behaviors. I'm an empath, and I nurture everything, but nurturing ME has been the most rewarding behaviors ever. I am lovingly and patiently looking forward to whom God has for me, and in the meantime, I continue to make sure my grass is presentable❤
It would be really wonderful if Laterras started speaking a Bible verse and a lady with him finished it and came into agreement with it and its meaning for him.
It’s really not that hard to be “in sync” with the worldly things of this culture and the messages we’ve grown up with.
The world is all around us. How hard is it, really, to “connect” and quote a song or movie line that all we grew up on? 😞The deeper/rarer things are the things of The Spirit and that is far lovelier and much more precious to find.

Love this right here! I actually wrote a letter to God about my husband yearS ago & it mostly contained core values. To be L.I.T. it also contained some physical attributes as well. I'm 6'1" & would like my husband to be tall. You have not if you ask not...right? This podcast is amazing in the fact that I feel like you both are interviewing each other which is wonderful in the fact that you both bounce off one another. Donni you've found your calling.
