Trail to Mexico

I first heard “The Trail to Mexico” from Otis Pierce in Spokane, Washington at the 1974 World’s Fair. It’s an old trail song covered by many artists over the decades (centuries even). I really like the way Otis did this song … and I also like Buck Ramsey’s version of it … so I’ve kind of combined the two in this rendition. That’s Mikkel Bee playing the washboard. Most of the color photos of the two of us were taken by Judy Ostroshki. The B&W photos of Mikkel and me are by Craig Johnson. The other photos are taken by myself and several friends.
