With Mercedes if you’re cranking it to far over either direction you can burn out the pump and the rack- really easy and fast. Did it to mine and cost me $5,200 to replace along with a tuneup, oil change and few other things. HPE did my tune and I went from about 530 at the wheels to 678HP now.
Andrew Padgett right? Like how do people buy this whole “we cut out the middleman” spiel while at the same time they’re SO heavily marketed on all these RUclips channels? Like that in itself costs money
If you want recognition of the beast within (in USA) you need a Corvette. I’ve seen dads holding a toddler say something and point at my car as I roll by in the parking lot. I have had a guy say nice car after parked 50 yards away from where they saw it and I took minutes to get where they stood. A woman say “really nice car dude”. An older gentleman say “that’s what a car like that should look like”. With the AMG, nobody notices. Nobody. Even the police. 👍
Hoovie must have forgotten or didn't know that the A45, CLA45 are 4 cylinders created by AMG and they're not v8 or v12. The v6 AMG engine is tuned and are also Nano Coated cylinders were as the normal v6 engines are not. The new AMG will come with the Inline 6 mated to an electric boost engine. AMG was always about v8 and v12 until BMW and Audi started making sportier versions of their cars. Noticeable is the M-Class and RS versions for those brands. Now, the AMG variants will peak over 400hp as the norm. All the 43's are tuned by AMG, both engine and transmission. The suspension is all AMG and not Mercedes on those cars. Yes, you can bring any German car to Eurocharge and they can tune it but you can tune the AMG variants higher than their cruising brother without destroying the engine or transmission. Companies have to evolve especially with the EPA demands.
Mr. Cairo maybe in isa, in europe random ppl buy them and yeah most mb cars are garbage, iv seen recently I think it was cls or whatever s class coupe is with small disel engine but full amg visual package along with so popular in europe fake exhaust that is blank plastik with chrome trim.... its pure garbage what Mercedes became in recent years.

The wizard can do it, it's all very easy stuff to do, just needs time and his scanner works fine on this brand. The only reason he couldnt fix the maserati is because he couldnt fully communicate with the car .

I work in the car industry as a vendor, and I know a guy who repairs seat tears etc, he hauls all his equipment in one a Chevy City Express, it's maybe an 16 or 17. The other day we were talking by the van when I saw him at a dealership, the fan was just screeching. I said WOW that sounds terrible! He then informed me the dealership told him the entire blower motor/duct assembly would need replacing which is like a 600 dollar part, plus the labor. I was blown away, no pun intended. I was so distraught I came home and looked up the part numbers since I do all my own vehicle repair, turns out the dealership was just telling him he had to change the whole thing, the blower motor itself is actually a part you can buy for $90. I'm a little disgusted that they told him the entire thing needed replacing when the blower motor is accessible from the side of the assembly... but that's just what dealerships do now. They sell sealed assemblies containing MANY parts and insist you need the whole thing vs the part that broke.
@Lassi Kinnunen Alfas had many issues, but mechanical fragility was not one of them until they became Fiats in drag. Mine was a Giula Super dealer modified for production racing (bigger engine) it was already 7 years old when I bought it. Admittedly I only had it about 4 years before I upgraded to a 2l GTV. In total my 1st 5 cars were Alfas. In the 80s I was a team mechanic running turbo Giuliettas. They were probably the most reliable cars in the field. Not one mechanical failure in 2 seasons.
Not sure if this has been posted already but I believe many newer cars do not have a fluid by-pass built into the power steering pump, so when you crank the steering wheel to full lock and then mash the throttle the pump basically cooks itself. A power steering cooler may (???) help a bit, but best to simply avoid full lock while inducing donut level max rpm and all will be good.

Where I live there's currently 8 E63 wagons for sale, under 20.000 dollar and under 80.000 miles, also comes with 1 year warranty.
HOOVIE LIKES TO INTICE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON. LOVES TO SUN BATHE IN ITS WARM YELLOW GLOW. GOOD ON YOU CRAZY MAN.
Take it easy on the high mileage German cars LOL! I cringed when you started that burnout.
I can only imagine the rocks that got shot at the other cars mid burnout
200k mile Camaro laughs at burnout.
So after spraying his truck with stones the Wizard smiled and asked you to bend over. Epic mistake
Tyler, the console armrest in the Maserati looks grody. Would you please clean it. The hygienic division of my OCD is really bothered by that.
Hoovie, i started working at a shop that specalizes in euro cars. I can tell why you love mercedes, man are they expensive to fix but driving them is just to sweet.
Already did this for Redline and StraightPipes.

Andrew Padgett right? Like how do people buy this whole “we cut out the middleman” spiel while at the same time they’re SO heavily marketed on all these RUclips channels? Like that in itself costs money
You’re right about the AMG nowadays. :(
If you want recognition of the beast within (in USA) you need a Corvette. 👍
Howard Sockrider that is not true at all...
Say good to big NA AMG one man one engine and the number on the trunk which actually means something
Joey McMahon Jr well... As far as police go, I hope it is. This SUV is fast and stable. Responses to my red 2012 Grand sport continue to surprise me.
That burnout cost Vincero 600 bucks!! Great vid man!
Work Hard Play Hard exactly just watch engineering explained on the m139 engine a production 4cylinder that makes 416hp!! 208hp/L that is bonkers!
The AMG rant was right on, in every possible way. Kudos Hoovie!
use e55 amg front rotors instead theyre the same but one piece and under 100 a rotor versus 1000 a rotor
It's funny how the wizard never offers Hoovie less expensive options when repairing his cars.
@@Turshin I think it's for shock value. Expensive repairs make for more interesting videos. I think that's what's going on here.
I thought he said $400 a rotor?
He literally just stated they were $400 a rotor.
Or just buy Tavarish's SL. That car has roughly the same brakes. You can count on them to work on this E63 easily.
Thanks for the AMG rant - just what i think everyday seeing those horrible GLC43 coupes and what not..
Mr. Cairo nah wouldnt neccessarily say that - in Germany they are common with moms just as well as with young guys

The progression of this video makes it my favorite to date. I'm loving it hoov

Old man Hoovie explains us today why the 1960's and 70's was better than today's age.
That green is gorgeous. This is my favourite car in the hooptie fleet.
I imagine plowing forward at full lock didn't help that ball joint or PS pump either.
I really love the fact that you keep your Mercedes beauties up, and the Lamborghini under... Respect, Hoovie!

Interesting concept. Selling cheap watches to buy expensive used cars. Then breaking what you had repaired.
then your mechanic gets a rolex
I’m sorry but this color combo E63 wagon is the holy grail. That green with tan interior is simply insane. Repair and keep this gem.
Mb certified tech here, gotta say, AMG is just a badge now, it's kinda sad really. A lot of customers are blinded by the badge, and think they own them and brag about it.
Also gotta say I'm in love with this car though.
If you really like a car why would you do burnouts in it and try to break it? it made me cringe to watch him do donuts in a car with 200,000 miles on it it's almost certain something with break.

Full lock steering while doing donuts does indeed ruin the pumps, ask me how I know
Eric Scott hmmm how do you know?
Thank you for asking , crazy thing happened, doing some donuts full lock and what do you know the power steering pump went. Groans a little and is hard to turn at idle but if you just blip the throttle a little when turning it’s fine
I hate it even when someone holds it hard on the stop while parking.

Loving the E Class AMG 6.3. What a machine. Love that colour too.
I like how you make Lemonade when you find out you own a 🍋.
Remember hoovie. Dyno mode. Before you do any burn out. Race etc.
Be glad it doesn't have the carbon ceramic option for brakes.
3700 isn't bad.
I laughed at this too, I just bought a 2009 ZR1 and the brakes are good, but I think I'll start saving up for my rotors now.

I'm feeling like there's a pattern.
Step 1: Buy car
Step 2: Abuse car like an idiot
Step 3: Whine about repair costs
@Lassi Kinnunen Alfas had many issues, but mechanical fragility was not one of them until they became Fiats in drag. Mine was a Giula Super dealer modified for production racing (bigger engine) it was already 7 years old when I bought it. Admittedly I only had it about 4 years before I upgraded to a 2l GTV. In total my 1st 5 cars were Alfas. In the 80s I was a team mechanic running turbo Giuliettas. They were probably the most reliable cars in the field. Not one mechanical failure in 2 seasons.
That’s the pattern - tried and true measure for the views and the $$$ revenue.
Duh. Nothing gets past _you._
Hoovie: Gets AMG from the shop then power brakes (and breaks) it 😂😂😂 That AMG wagon is a sweet car.
Buddy stick with the cars, you clearly don't know a thing about watches 😂

@@TempoMontages - They've been reduced to status symbols for a small cliquey group of watch nerds.
@@TempoMontages Actually not so much. There was a time when pocket watches were the time piece everyone had. Then the wrist watch was invented and it was much more convenient. Very interesting videos on your E AMG, Hoovie. I’ve always beeeeeen a huge fan of wagons, especially the AMG and Audi RS variants. I’ve never been close to owning one but this gives a huge insight of what’s its like to own. In reality, the amount you spent on just brakes was not terrible. The enjoyment of tearing it up in a grocery getter is so sick. I’ve spent almost as much on brakes for my BICYCLES. I’m glad to see people like you who enjoy and appreciate significant cars and not just the “horsepower=cooler” actually Excessive HP=douchebaggery. But this E is really nice. Even the color. I’m interested to see the progression of this project. 👍
