I absolutely loved their 6" tablet that they discontinued years ago. I have several 7's 2 of the 8's and the 10 with the keyboard. I love the fire tablets so I don't bog down my ipads with all my movies and video. I am a heavy user of ALL my tablets. Just ordered the new 7" in pink!
I have the 8 7th gen perfect width to barely get in the pocket. Very portable. I was gonna get another 8HD 12th gen but the width was 5.4 which is little too big for pants pockets on the go so got 7 12th gen. Good size for pocket and reading Kindle on the go.
Just wanted to say you did a great job reviewing these two tablets. It was really helpful. I’ve been looking up the HD8 for a while but the 7 just might be for me.
I got a Amazon Fire 7 2022 and it came to my house so quickly. I ordered last Thursday August 18th and it came to my house on Friday the 19th about 8:00 PM. So cool. I use it primarily for reading books. It's thinner than my previous 2019 but it's cool.
Great video. That hd 8 is great it took my kids over a year of heavy use before the finally cracked the screen. I'm gonna replace it with the same model for as much as a replacement glass costs. I looked at the 7 and it is nice too. I was surprised that the sun hd display actually looks good.
Yeah, it's not that bad! When you get to smaller displays, the resolution becomes less noticeable but for that kind of money another 8 is a great deal.
I'm still rocking my 2018 fire hd 8 and 2019 fire hd 10 and 2019 fire 7, I also have an ipad 9th gen 64gb wifi + cellular and an ipad mini 6 256gb wifi+ cellular. I use all of them and I like it.
what about the Galaxy Tab A8 or S6 Lite? The S6 Lite is cheaper than the Ipad 9 and comes with an S pen for free, and only has a small difference in performance. Heck, you could even get the Lenovo Tab p11 plus or m10 plus.
I have bought the 7 & the 8 but I primarily use the 8 because it's a much bigger screen and snappier performance and more faster processor and everything just works well.
8 is much better deal, since you are already used to 7 inch because most of the phones now has almost 7 inch screen that can do more than the 7 inch tab
I just picked up the 32 GB Fire HD 8 in the Twilight Blue color on Amazon Prime Day for the $44.99 deal. I also have the Fire HD 10 and the 2019 Fire HD 7. For only $44.99 I just couldn't pass it up especially since the 2022 Fire HD 7 never did go on sale during the Amazon Prime Day Sale.
Wow great deal, it's not even that low for Black Friday. I scored 2 HD 8 Plus's for $65 each for my kids. They're upgrading from super slow Fire 7's from 2017.
But right now they both are on $45 tag I bought the 7 because I already have a iPad as my first use iPad and I want some thing between portable for just home only
I agree with @stevealicious tech. 8 HD is the better choice. I got the 7 and it was noticeably pixilated. I got the 8 HD slapped a matte screen protector on it and whalah! Got myself a nice ereader. I also got a refurbished 8 HD which are on sale for $50 right now.
@@Causeimbored1that’s so interesting! I wanted the 7 for the size and ordered one from a marketplace app and I actually received a 8hd instead! I’m a bit annoyed cause the case I bought don’t fit but I’ll try it out and see how I like it.
for exclusively reading Kindle, is the resolution difference noticeable in the fire 7 compared to the fire HD 8? I have actually purchased both and thinking of selling either one of them
just don't let your kids put their name on it, if there are any problems you will have to give them their email. I just went through this and it's a joke!

You will enjoy this one a lot, then!

Bought the 7 to use as a Kindle device. My iPad is my primary tablet, but with its keyboard case etc it just not comfortable to hold.

Teach them to take care of stuff.

@@StevealiciousTech they’re good for what I use them for, media consumption and light gaming.
'Amazon's not a charity. They're doing it for a reason.'
I don't think if anything could be said truer than that.
Yep! Important to go in with our eyes open! But as long as we understand that, there are ways to use it to our advantage.

Fire HD 10 tablet 32 GB, latest model (2021 release) $75
Really great deal for sure. No wrong answers with these tablets.

Yes, they both have a place but the 8 inch is a nice balance.

Yeah thought that was odd timing for them but that 44 dollars for the 8 was a steal for sure.

Absolutely! Always a great deal.
Should I get the 2019 Amazon Fire 7 for $32 or should I just get the new one
I would really get the HD for 44. It’s a great deal and you will like it quite a bit.
Ok thanks
Which one should I get if im using it just for reading purpose?
8 inch has a nicer display for reading.

Ummm for extensive reading that extra resolution might help your eyes.
@@StevealiciousTech thanks!
problem with the ipad is lack of micro sd cards
I have used both of them personly i prefer fire 8 but fire 7 is still pretty good
Thank you for the informations, really interesting video! Congrats from France!
Thanks for watching!
I have a fire 8 HD and it works good
I’ll go with the 7
I am using my 2019 Amazon fire 10 HD 9 generation I think the 10 is better than both

I get 8
Wish the Amazon tablets weren't DOG SLOW.
