But they have not covered the essential news. Why PSU are sold/ privatized. PM cares expenses should be investigated by CAG. Banking NPA - how much increased Infrastructure/Metro project - how much cost and time overrun. SEBI - former chairman involved with some malpractice Kisan bill - introduced and withdrawal, who is Sharad marathe, and role of corporate in endorsing the bill. A Inflation rate is much more than the DA of central government employees.
Very sad state of affairs. Let us hope this current governments (who have been so casual about everything, including forecasting of floods in Himalayan region, or violence control in Manipur, etc) is replaced with people who have actual concern and heart for common people / poor people. A common person like me have all our sympathies for all the people who have been so badly affected.
And get replaced with what? UPA? that couldn't complete a single project without stalling it ten times? How many project were launched and completed by UPA in 10 years of its term? You need to read history, statistics, meteorology and overall increase your knowledge.

So sad the common people have to suffer for the negilence of authorities. Early warning systems must be put in place at least now after so much of disastrous consequences to people. It has become a regular feature every year. It must be ensured that release of excess waters from dams must not be released from all dams simultaneously. The same thing happened in Kerala in 2018 floods causing terrible loss of lives there . Our sympathies to the people of HP & U.Khand 🙏

The mountain river Teesta that flows through Sikkim and Darjeeling Himalayas now looks like a dirty flooded drain due to NHPC's Project. The river in some places almost reached the level of the National Highway 10.

No one has the guts to take onus of illegal construction of their own. Everybody will curse the government. When these people were benefiting from these projects and leniency from the Govt office then they were happy and now they are blaming the government. Citizens should prioritise their own safety first. Govt comes later in some cases it will never reach out to you. So please never build houses nearby riverbank and heavy construction should be avoided on steep slop. Go back to basics. Even NGT has said the only 2.5 floors should be built in the Himalayas hills station but greed has everyone's back. I hope people will understand and will start to respect mountains, rivers, trees( mother Nature). In the end I hope Govt will soon reach these people and should work towards their rehabilitation. Nobody deserves to suffer like this.

Now some companies like NHPC wants to do the same here in arunachal pradesh by proposing 20 dams in dibang valley and some more in other districts.
