I was Bronze 5 on every role for most of the season, but in the last 2 weeks I have climbed into silver on tank and support and am almost there on DPS. I don't feel like I suddenly got better though. My theory is that lots of new players have started unlocking comp, so they are flooding in and pushing me up.
I just got my 7th win today in time for the end of the season so it may be a crapshoot for me. Got bronze 1 so could be chance I can go back to high silver like I started out in OW1.
it's still good that your climbing. even if it's bc other worse players have puchsdd u up u can now play against slightly better players and that will improve u as a player
7:43 This is so true lmao, had a braindead dps for one game blaming me for 'low dmg/10' when I was getting more picks than him, I called him out for that and got hard tilted which ultimately made us lose the game, still thinking I was the 'main problem' and not him. Granted, I'm a gold dps and I'm aware that this awful mentality will never let you climb.
Just got out of bronze the other night. Can confirm it was pretty wild. I'm excited to play with people with all sorts of weird gaps in their ability, instead of just a general lack of ability. I think in that sense Silver is gonna get even wilder.
Hello coach! I would appreciate it if you made a video on every hero "counter" according to you, just in general terms (as a counter pick doesn't translate into a loss strictly) Thanks for the videos, love your channel!
Yeah I'll be satisfied with plat maybe diamond. For 2 main reasons. 1 as an introvert with ADHD I play my best when Im focused and have good music in the background. I communicate but very rarely unless I'm with family. 2. I work too much to put in the amount required to be any higher
A really helpful tip from someone who is finally leaving Gold behind, getting 2 kills consistently with you ult is way better than consistently failing when you try to kill 4-5.
List of why I can’t get out of silver: 1. Team is throwing 2. Opposing team is better than my team 3. My team can't communicate 4. Orisa and roadhog won’t die
The number of times that I've been told to swap off Brig before the game even starts because "she's a throw pick" is incredible. Gold misconceptions.exe is strong.
If there is one hero I would never trust, it's Doomfist. Everyone who plays Doomfist is in my opinion throwing on purpose. Of all the tanks out there, he had to play the worst. The one that gets demolished by every tanks
You better be joking about masters being base level overwatch or you’re on one. If you’re in masters you’re a really good player. Hell even diamond players are good players so I’d say gold is base level. You gotta think about where people stand in the player base percentage. If you’re above 50% you’re at least above average so like if most people are in elo hell than anything past that is a pretty good player. High level players seem to not understand that most people aren’t bots and think if you don’t play at a high level you’re bad.
Diamond players are NOT good lol. I felt Diamond was the most toxic because it had some of the most terrible players who "thought" they were good, constantly telling anyone in plat they shouldn't be talking, too smug
Silver. Because Brozne knows they're shit deep down, and gold and higher overestimate their own ability but know how to stand on the objective and actually hit something now and then; however, literally all Silver players believe they are better than their rank thinking they are in ELO hell because they always have crap teammates, but they can't hit shit, are always C9, and are dumb enough to complain about it and try to coach others constantly without the introspection of working on themselves.
How do I get rid of misconceptions I have about the game? For example, you mentioned that expecting a cassidy to focus and kill a pharah is a misconception. So what's the proper way to look at it. In my game I was playing dps and the other dps picked cassidy. The enemy had a mercy pharah combo. I usually go cassidy myself to get rid of them with burst damage otherwise I really struggle against them. Which is exactly what happened and I kept dying to them. I know there is something wrong with my positioning if I keep dying to them, but really confused as to how to position against pharahs.
The misconception would involve him being SOLELY responsible Is what I mean. To position against a phara just avoid being in her line of sight and try to help kill the mercy to make it easier for the hit Scan to kill her
@@meez5824 Exactly this. It's also not always entirely up to the DPS to deal with the mercy pharah duo. I'm tank main and I play rein/ball. If I'm not already playing ball and they have a pharah and the rest of the team are struggling to deal with her a little(Or A LOT, is more common in silver.). I'll switch of rein to ball to help pressure the pharah and bring her down a level..
@@michaellewis1332 I agree. I usually boost into the phara as dva or I just deny her value by matrixing as many of her rockets as I can. Or just chain her as hog if it's possible
You can try to take a strong flanker, because if there's a mercypharah, it means on the ground you are 3v5. You can be super aggressive against people on the ground with reaper, for example, and get some teamfight wins. If you are a tank, take hog, do 5v3 fights, hook and kill them all the time easily.
I just started this game when OW2 came out and I find that I’m better than a lot of players just because my game sense from other games I’ve beaten or played like COD Sekiro and Smite translate really well to this game. This game is fairly simple but plays differently most matches so far even with similar hero comps it’s pretty cool
Crazy how people can even be in bronze. Haven’t played this game in years like since overwatch 1. Im plat1 after my placements. Half those games im testing the new characters and have no idea how to play them
Most top 500 players that I either watch on RUclips, or the two I know, say that master players are GM players who have a bad attitude, are toxic, or tilt easy. Not saying that applies to you, but try to have a more PMA and try and tilt less. Hope you hit GM soon
@@PoohOnYourShoe Thank you, trying my best. I was coached by a contenders coach and went from p2 to m3 in just 2 days playing dva. And I've been stuck here since. I do tilt easily which is something I need to work on, but I'm not toxic. Thank you I really appreciate your reply.

It’s that, and also the tryhards are bored of the season. Next week is going to be super hard again.
there was also a bug patched recently where you can't escape bronze 5

Silver is FUCKED. Got to silver1 from bronze 2 all solo queue support and holy shit that was hard. It only got worse through silver
Doesn’t change in gold from a gold hardstuck
Don't have high hopes until plat

since the rank system is broken, i had to climb from bronze 3 to plat 4 in season 1, and now i’m diamond, still climbing. i believe in elo hell

1. Team is throwing
2. Opposing team is better than my team

She's probably the hardest hero to play decently right now (especially above Gold) so it makes sense for people to think that
She’s not a throw pick but she’s arguably the worst support
The golden shield is magnificent to flex with pre-game. It sends a message!
That's just because she's hard to play and people throw as her by noy knowing how to properly play her
If there is one hero I would never trust, it's Doomfist. Everyone who plays Doomfist is in my opinion throwing on purpose. Of all the tanks out there, he had to play the worst. The one that gets demolished by every tanks

So I really enjoy this video, though I have to ask. What about people who were in higher ranks in ow1 but fell in this game? how should they respond?
Some very true and logical points made in this video for every rank.
i need this video so bad, i went from silver 3 to plat 2 just using rein in 1 day and now i’m losing every match
Nice video as always. Comunication is the key!
It’s me, I’m the guy “CASSIDY FUCKING 2 TAP THAT PHARA” hello, I feel attacked 👁👄👁
You should do more videos like Spilo and A10. The general overwatch community requires way more understanding of macro strategy.
I got to diamond just because of csgo lmfao i was supreme/global faceit 8 hopped on 70 hours and in dia i felt so called out
What is the most TOXIC rank in Overwatch 2?
Bronze 5.
Silver. I'm convinced I'm the best 25 fps player, big bro.
Mills could u pls do a payload guide I find it easy to defend in payload games over attack especially in comp
I sit for 30mins to an hour in que for comp, then get bored waiting and go back to quick play… I can’t even get matches to rank up before I get bored.
Why does this video make me feel like I’m actually decent at this game and not absolutely god awful like I really am😂
The big questions. where do you see the rank???
i might just be really stupid but what does mechanics mean? like aim?

You have to pronounce that first 'R' as well.
I honestly dont know how people are stuck in bronze or silver, like how
I’m diamond and climbing on tank but stuck in silver-gold for support most of the time
are there aim trainers for xbox?
Just go to custom games and import the game by putting in the code they gave you. I use them on the switch so you should be good.

Lol he said liberry
Fun fact everyone has been bronze at some point in their life, but not everyone has been GM
I have literally never touched bronze I promise you and I've played since 2016
Not true
I've never been bronze in my life, and I've played since the ow1 beta on ps4
Never been below plat - except now when OW2 forced everyone into lower ranks on first placement lol.. didnt last long tho
False.
I thought my achievement of getting Diamond was impressive😔😔 I have a lot more to focus on christ
Just find a team to play with
