What an awesome time! Can’t thank you enough captain! I keep looking at these pics! Well worth the drive! Hope to fish again with you soon!
Had a blast... ready for round 2
Well done, Heath!
Hi Heath, You did a great job catching two "Bucket List" fish. Good thing you know where and how to catch them. It's hard to target several species of fish in the same trip. It may not be the best season or conditions for all the fish on the list. It looks like Aaron had a blast and all the matters. Glad you both had fun. Say "Hi" to the Crew for me. Take care and good luck, Mickey
Hi Mickey, you're absolutely right. Trying to hit up several different species is tricky... And the conditions we had just weren't great to begin with, but we made it happen. He was stoked. He's ready for round 2. Everyone here is doing well, and they all say "Hi". Hope everything is going good for you. Take care. talk to you soon.
i need to go fishing with you!!

Thanks Heath cheers Ricky 🇺🇸👩🏻🦼🎸🙏💦🎣
Never caught a skipjack out of Fort Pierce or St Lucie, awesome! Is it true the best wind for pelagics is a light SE wind? At least it has been in my experience.
Yes... for south florida east coast fishing... best wind is SE with a north current
Thank you Heath! Always learning form you. I have a question if I may.
I was out this last weekend and came across this group of fish that would go from weed patch to weed patch, shake it up and them move on to the next. I could never get close enough to really see them because they would scatter when I got close, but I know that they were not Mahi.
I casted cut bait right next to them but they were not interested.
I want to try again next weekend.
Do you know what they are and how to catch them?
Can't find anything on YT about them.
Also would really like to go fishing with you if you offer a crash course for someone who has plenty of boating experience but is new to these waters. We can take my boat or yours.
Thank you!!
Those were trigger fish. Don't waste your time on them. I've been finding mahi in aroud 600 mostly the past few weeks... wind has been unpredictable with marine forecasts unreliable. Fish for the mahi on a wind that is anywhere from straight East, or the best is SE... any other wind go do something else.
