- This is a full room tour of a newly remodeled Resort View room at Disney's Boardwalk Inn (formerly Standard View). This room sleeps up to 5 adults and was recently refurbished along with all of the other Boardwalk Inn rooms. They have updated these rooms with new furniture and decor, hard floors replacing the carpet, and a slight tweak to setup for the coffee/mini fridge area. Our room number was 4295.

Nice room tour and love the reburb. The yellow makes it feel warm as soon as you walk in. This is one of the resorts that kept some of the Disney/boardwalk theming. Now I'm having a hard time choosing 2 club level rooms at Boardwalk or Boulder Ridge 2 bedroom Villa during the Holidays
That’s a tough one. Boulder Ridge/Wilderness Lodge is beautiful that time of year. But we love the club level lounge at Boardwalk and the location of the resort near 2 parks.

Love the new rooms! I'm a little bummed they didn't do much with the bathrooms but this is such a HUGE improvement!
We were too, but at least they worked on the main rooms because they really needed it!
@@HereWithTheEars Definitely! They do look so much better! Any updates on the club level lounge? We had an amazing stay in a deluxe room in January but now I need to go back to see the updates!
The club lounge was refurbished as well. We're planning a video about it soon :)

See that the refurbishment on the DVC Villa side will begin soon, ending in Spring 2024. Hopefully it will comparable to this room.
Kinda disappointed they don't have handheld showerhead. That kind of feature is very important to me :-(

I will be staying at the Boardwalk for the first time soon and was confused over resort view because I wasn't able to locate photos from that view.

This is great. I'm toying with switching a CSR stay to a BW stay in Dec. and was wondering about the new view categories.
Now that the rooms are remodeled, we’d definitely recommend switching if you can. You’ll get brand new rooms and a great location near two parks 😊

They're all done. They may still have some construction (mainly outside) but the rooms are complete 😊

I read somewhere that all of the rooms at Boardwalk Inn have been updated, but they're still working on the villas. Is that correct? I'm planning to stay in a standard room in Dec.
Correct. Boardwalk Inn is complete but Villas have just started and won't likely be done until spring.

Did I miss the microwave or do they not have one?
Regular hotel rooms at Disney don’t have microwaves. You c an request one to your room when you arrive though. They only have a certain amount, but we’ve never had a problem getting one. There’s also free microwaves in the quick service locations for guests to use.
I must be in the minority. I think they lost the charm. I mean even the little writing desk is gone. The lamps used to have the characters in them. This looks like any INN outside of property. This is usually the #1 resort we stay on maybe over 8x a year, days at a time, and this new update really is a miss for me in terms of I couldn't tell you its "boardwalk" nor does it scream that when walking in.
