I just did this to my 2019 Road Glide... It sounds sooooo much better now! Took about 20 min including a bit of sanding and hitting it with some flat black hi-temp spray paint.
The sound didn’t transfer very well to a cellphone microphone. It sounded completely different in person than it did on video. You can probably search someone who did add sound, but it won’t sound like the video. And it sounded different riding it than it did standing still. This is simply a short video on getting them out.
I literally just got done taking the right side baffle out of my 114's stock exhaust then tuned it with the SE Tuner. The 2.5" carbide cutter was too big but a 2 3/8 or about a 60-62mm cutter worked fine in about five minutes. Why is everyone cutting the baffle out of the left side? Does it really make a difference as most of the exhaust goes out the right side muffler? With the SE Wedge and an external breather catch-can installed, my 2020 Roadglide Limited FLTRK now sounds great with a much deeper tone but only a bit louder unless I twist the throttle hard, then it does get quite a bit louder during a heavy pull.
I tried, but my cameras audio (that makes quiet sounds loud and loud sounds quiet) really messed up what it sounded like. The video was completely different from how it sounded in person. Thats why this video was taken after I already drilled them out, and dosent show the process. The original video I made in one take as I was drilling them, but the bike audio was terrible so I threw the whole video out.

You can if you want. The bike will run just fine with the baffles removed. You may notice a small amount of power loss in the low end, but nothing that makes the bike unrideable, you my not even notice it. Adding a tuner and adjusting your fuel will help tho. This modification would be no different than adding an aftermarket straight pipe.
I tried loading a sound clip into the video, but the microphone was making loud noises quiet and quiet noises loud. It sounded nothing like video in person. I didnt want to give anyone a false representation of how it really sounded. If you've ever heard a straight piped Harley before, that's what it sounded like, with a slight hollow ping from the empty mufflers.

Did a 2 1/2 hole saw work for yours? I just purchased a 2019 Street Glide
J.P. Hooie I’m curious too. I just picked up a 2019 SGS.
So what does it actually sound like now ?

So, no sound clip? I was curious how it sounded like before and after the baffles being removed.
I've got a question did your bike have any problems like backfires, popping, or acceleration problems?
Great video !
Was there any power loss?
does it backfire or pop at all now?
Why didn't you start the bike up so we can hear it????

Ibhave 2022 street glide....will i have to get bike tuned after mod?
Use a bi metal hole saw..5 minutes and it's done..both sides
How bout a sound clip ?
I attempted to record one, but the quality of the sound didnt transfer well. It sounded good on video, but it was much better in person.
Do you have to do a fuel tune after?

Scott Rogerson does it hurt the motor ridding without baffle
