I think it worked great. Now crazy loud but got louder and deeper. Nice work.

I cut my baffles out and had problems with the ecm going out 😢 but I still have the factory exhaust and im going to try the holes sounds great and it still gives you that back pressure you need with the stock engine thks brother 😁🙏

What year bike do you have? I cut the baffles out of my 2017 Ultra Limited and really didn't like the sound. This mod gives a nice sound, not too loud and enough back pressure. I would like to know how it turns out for you

Remove baffles and make and install lollipops. More power and sound.

You are probably right, removing the entire baffle and inserting some DK Customs Thunder Torque inserts would sound and perform better. I just didn't want the exhaust to be that loud. Thanks for the input

I liked your video, just wished you had a before and after next to each other at the end. Curious how is it now that you've had for a few rides? What do you notice? Are you glad you did it? thanks for doing it, most everyone else is just pulling out the whole baffles.
    👍

@randallpentney1656 sorry I didn't put a side by side comparison on the exhaust sound. I did the whole cut out the baffle with a hole saw thing on my 2017 Ultra Limited with the same mufflers. It was louder but didn't have a very good tone. This method was way easier and faster plus you can go in steps and actually make it louder. I have another video were I drill the holes out to 7/16". I really like the sound and tone so much that I may not install the other mufflers I have for this bike, just need to paint them black. Aftermarket Mufflers are louder, but after putting 1800 miles round trip to Sturgis last year on my other bike with louder droning mufflers I am kind of over it. This mod gives it just enough sound while cruising and enough bark when you get on the throttle. Plus if you don't like it you can always just install your favorite mufflers and not really be out any money. I have my Sportster with a Thunder Header to give me all the noise I want for short rides. Hope this helps.

Awesome, thanks for getting back to me and taking the time to explain everything! That sounds exactly what I'm looking for. Well done BTW. 👍 I'll be check out your other video too. Just need to do it now!

@@randallpentney1656 I have a new 23' cvo so same bike with the 121. I actually just took my muffler off to check and see if it was easy to unpack the fiberglass and heat stuffing. Unfortunately when i took the tip off the inside is welded. I was hoping just to leave the baffle in and just unpack it but looks like I will just drill the holes like you did.

@rziedenberg were you able to get the packing in the mufflers removed ? If so how did the sound turn out? On my 2017 Ultra Limited I completely cut the baffles out with a hole saw and removed the packing. It was louder but I didn't care to much for the sound.

@@jerrygaona6162 you know you could drill out your mufflers pull the packing out and drill a hole up through the bottom of your muffller and bolt the baffle back in the muffler
