To answer you guys (and it seems Alon found the answer), correct, the key caps don't light up. Not that big of a deal for me, personally, as I don't have to look at the keyboard to type, but I can see that being a problem who do still need to look at the keyboard to type
Wow, I'm impressed with the sound of this board. I have a K5 Low-Profile and I am a big fan of what I've got, but I'm considering getting one of these V5's as a back up in case I want to mix things up. Are the K Pro Red Switches smooth? They sound and appear as though they are!
The K-Pro Red Switches are not bad. They're a little light, so if that's your thing, definitely go for it! I ended up switching them out with Gateron Milky Yellows and it feels a LOT better to type on. The little resistance from the springs in the milky yellows made a much nicer difference
@@jaws303 you can change the light! You can use the VIA app (which is accessible on the Internet without having to download anything) to customize your lighting! I actually have my keyboard set to be reactive, meaning it does a pulse every time I type a key
Sorry for the late response! I don't think I'm the person to ask. I do know that there are a LOT of options these days and some are really dependent on what other mods you add in (such as O rings). Hopefully you found an answer while waiting for me to respond 😅
Love that sound ❤
if it is dark, the numbers / letters on the key caps doesn't light up?

Which switches do you recommend for the quietest keyboard possible?
