      That is correct. Predominantly black color with the green-and-gold legacy colors pushed to the background, generic "Stars" script clamored for by nobody except the owner, nothing that says "North Stars" or "Minnesota," for ease of transfer to another city.

      At a late 1991 Blackhawks game that I was witness to, this organist played "Mr. Sandman" about a dozen times. That's right, the bubblegum 1954 "Mr. Sandman" by the Chordettes tune, on the organ at the Chicago Stadium. Just what you want to hear during a Hawks game against a division rival. Nearly 35 years on, it's still galling to think that they dropped the talented Nancy Faust for this hack.
