If you check for other info, YGE is the best among other Korean agencies/companies out there when it comes to paying their artists. YG cares a lot about his artists and I believe I have not heard any of YGE current and former artists talk bad about YG. I heard about stories of him being a father/brother to BigBang, 2NE1, Ikon, Winner, BLACKPINK, and even Treasure. Lisa even shared that during her trainee days YG would give her extra allowance for the holidays so that she can eat well as she cannot travel back to Thailand to be with her fam.

In terms of the gambling accusations he end up having to pay a fine. the amount im not so sure of, since some sources say 10 Million Won others go up to 20 Million, so lets say the average (15M won which is about 10k-15k dollars). Not just this case, but also because of the scandals that other artists in the company were involved (or accused) in, he resign from all his positions in the company, and his brother Yang Min-suk who was the CEO of YG Ent. also stepped down from that position. However, he is still connected to the company since he is the biggest shareholder, and was seen multiple times in their building or even YG artists events (like Treasure's first concert). Now, there was a case of someone, in YG that did stole money from Blackpink's Lisa. However, it was a individual act, has he took money from her saying it was for something (she gave him the money to invest on her behalf) but he used to gamble instead. That personn was one of Lisa's managers (dont remember his name or if it was revealed at all). Interesting fact however, when YGE found out about the situation, they immediately fired him, but, a lot of fans actually pointed the finger to YGE, since they didnt gave an explanation on why they fired the manager and accused YGE of firing someone that was believed to be good friends with Lisa. There were many interactions on vlogs so he was seen as a good manager who got along with the members (specially Lisa) and fans blamed YGE for doing this just to mistreat Lisa. It was only about a year later when the truth came out through other sources. People now knew why he was fired and finally turned against him and support the fact that YGE fired him. Ironically, this time, still decided to point the finger to the company, this time because they only fired him and didnt pursue any legal actions against him. But sooner was also revealed that the company gave the choice to Lisa to what to do, since she was the victim, and she decided to not bring him to court. If i remember correctly, they did one agreement which was for him to return part of the money at that moment and make a payment plan to return what was still missing. I honestly dont know how it is now, specially considering we are talking about something close to 1 Million dollars. Basically with this, what i want to say is that always take any information with a grain of salt. Some people will just read what they want and make the whole story by themselves. Others might hear a full story, not knowing it was not quite the truth, and unknowingly spread missinformation. There also a lot of people that read the first news that come out, but rarely read any update on that. the fact that some people might still think that YG took money from the company is just an example of that. Don't believe everything in the internet. Gambling may be illegal in Korea but the President founded the company from his own savings as an idol coming from a poor family with a single mother. If he gambled abroad, it's his money. Only toxic fans took it the wrong way, claiming all money of blackpink as theirs and discredit the hardwork of those who built the company. Besides, the guy earned more than enough to spend on his leisure from his 15 years + in the industry long before BP even formed.
