We stayed at Midway last fall. The Turkey vultures pulled the top off my fifth wheel. There were only four five campers in the campground. The vultures were nesting in trees behind us. I think we were in site 12 or 13. Nice area to explore, but be warned about the Turkey vultures.

I had heard of Turkey vultures pecking at the roof here and I received a tip on how to discourage damage to the roof by the use of streamers taped atop the RV roof. Although I was prepared with the items needed prior to our visit, we did not encounter any problem with birds at the campground in February 2023. Lou
