  • Of the three Army Corp campgrounds on Rt 41 between Naples and Miami, this one has nice roads, hard surface campsites, electric hook ups, potable water and a dump station. It's in the Everglades and costs $30/night and only $15 per night with America the Beautiful Senior Discount Card. NICE!

    We are Dave and Karen and have retired. We decided to sell our home in Georgia in 2017 to live full time in an RV to travel across America to see the beauty of our country and meet awesome people along the way.

    Boy when the grass is wet, I would be so afraid of sinking in it - then you would have a real mess! Good backup job (as always)

      For sure. That's why we parked the truck by the bathroom. They told us we'd be OK because the grass was only a couple of inches thick and it was all shells under that. We didn't trust them because they wouldn't be the one paying the towing bill. :)

      It is nicer for sure. But no trail walks for us.

      No kidding. Florida definitely has their snake issues going on right now.

    Those spots are entirely angled the wrong way to back into!

    • @WattsOnWheels
      @WattsOnWheels  5 месяцев назад +1

      They are. Rumor has it, they are going to tear them out and redo them on a proper angle...of course it will still be a blind back in.
