  • Scheppach HM100LXU 254mm Single-Bevel Sliding Electric Compound Mitre Saw 230V and
Scheppach UMF2000 Universal Mitre Saw Stand.
This was bought to replace my last saw. When buying I decided to buy the stand as I was sick of kneeling down when using it. The saw stand is a revelation and I would not be without it now.

To prevent tear out on the top, stick a piece of painters tape on the cut line. To prevent tear out at the back, drill a couple of holes in the fence and screw on a piece of scrap wood. Make a cut and you have yourself a zero clearance fence.

Thanks for that. I just bought one this week. You will see this stuff working in my DIY projects on my channel.

I agree about the blade that comes with it it doesn’t have a great blade for fine finish .
    Dustbag isn’t worth a damn
The laser I find was not strong enough turned it off after five uses I haven’t turned it back on pencil and square or a marking knife works great.
I found your video because my saw stopped working trying to figure out why.
Otherwise I love it its a great tool for doing outdoor projects.

Hey, thanks for the testing. Parkside is the brand belonging to "LIDL", which surprises me here, because, normally, they have nothing to do with schappach...

They have a lot to do with scheppach, scheppach makes tools for LIDL rebranded as Parkside. They are not the only ones,Parkside is just a brand, not a manufacturer.

Mate your complaining about tear out ? slow down with your cut, if you attack any wood at that speed with any saw you will get tear out lol

Parkside belongs to LIDL. Scheppach is an autonomous manufacturer and uses also other discounters to distribute its tools.

@@mortality1987 Yeah but they did it worse for Lidl. Table saw from shippach has better work table quality than Parkside has (where metal parts are thinner version etc.) - so price is better for lidl

Do you have any problems with cross cut at angles , ie some cheaper brands "wobble or move as you cut the angle ?
    Thanks 👍

I would not recommend this saw as a ‘Finish’ saw. I have never cut aluminium with it. If a perfect cut is what you want you may need to spend money on a better saw.

Saw blade seems ok. What about the actual saw?

    • @kellydavidscreen8644
      @kellydavidscreen8644  4 года назад +4

Saw is good and a nice to use on the stand. Its noisy due to a brushed motor. The blade did not last long at all. Laser can't be seen in the sunshine and the dust bag keep pulling the battery lid off the laser as you pull and push, electrical tape fixes this. Its not very accurate when cutting as it seem to pull the work piece about if its not fastened down, this would be solved with a wooden sacrificial fence attached to the ali one. It cut laminate flooring well, I've just used it to cut 53 packs of laminate for my gym walls and floors. Compared to my last chop saw the cut is huge. For the price its a good saw.

I spent an while setting it up and its good enough for coving. However I would not use it for fine mitres like on boxes, I use my tablesaw for that.

Shitpach... lmao... Was thinking to get this myself but mite just spend abit extra and go for the Bosch Professional Panel Saw GCM 8 SJL with the stand.. I like higher quality when working around and with high speed moving blades.. Once you said it looks like something from China just with a sticker from Scheppach i'm out.. lol..
