How on actual Earth did you do this so quickly? Seriously, this is crazy impressive to beat the game like this and then write+edit the whole video in this amount of time. Edit: I would like to see a run of the full game, even though the bee fight is blatantly impossible. Also, the Glumstone fight prolly would've been way easier with Ms. Chalice because of the parry dash.

ngl I haven’t jumped irl in probably many years (unless you count jogging, which doesn’t even use the A button), so I’ve been doing pretty well in that regard. Also, the no shooting challenge was both less dense with neat tricks a n d insanely difficult. I’m just not enough of a gamer for that one quite yet.

Esther Winchester would’ve been the only boss I did then I would’ve given up. Can’t believe you beat the entire dlc without jumping, and not even 5 days after launch. Props to you. You deserve more attention on RUclips.
By the way I heard that the extra health from Chalice's super does stack but it's currently visually bugged on the transition of the final boss (maybe other bosses as well) so it doesn't show that it's blocking damage when it actually does, and the heart doesn't go away like it should

I have the utmost respect for challenge runners like you. Cuz you'll be faced with a seemingly impossible problem but instead of giving up, you'll say "okay, what are my options?" and somehow find a way to circumvent the issue. I honestly didnt think you'd be able to complete the last 3 bosses in the DLC. I legit thought you'd concede defeat to the final boss due to its platforming requirements and that's why the video was so short. (not counting the secret boss) In the end though I suppose I owe you an apology for underestimating you. Truly, a great video!
I agree, Supreme Belly Button Inspector. Seriously tho, I agree. I remember the first time I discovered such a run online; it was about God of War 3 played on the hardest difficulty without upgrades. I could hardly play it on the second hardest WITH upgrades, and here's a guy who plays it on the hardest with no upgrades. I couldn't fathom at first why they would do that lol. They've done such runs on pretty much all GoW games.

I've always enjoyed watching your challenges since I've found them, but I don't think I properly appreciated just how much work is put into them until now, when I realized that I haven't been able to pass isle 2 since getting the game A WHILE ago, and you're going through the dlc taking names without jumping. The videos were always fun to watch, but now I also have a newfound respect for the mad skill that goes into them as well.
I doubt the possibility of a jumpless Cuphead run considering bosses like King Dice and Rumor Honeybottoms, but an attempt would be interesting to say the least
Here’s something I found while playing with my friend on the kings gauntlet thing. If you play 2 player mode, every time one of you dies and you parry to bring them back it gives you a card. Which you can use with the the weapons you have equipped. I think it would be cool to see you try and beat the kings bosses with using this (assuming it hasn’t been patched) you could use the dash thing with ms chalice to get up in the air with it
It won't be patched because its not a bug, its an extra incentive to save your fallen friend on top of having someone else to help you take the bosses down
I really liked these challenge type videos and was bummed when skip the tutorial stopped making them, so I’m happy there’s someone making these types of videos
Actually, with the Howling Aces to avoid that tricky pink laser, you can knock all the dogs in the previous phase down enough health to where their smoke is dark gray which will activate a much simpler phase

Wouldn't this be easier with Chalice because you can parry by dashing, and you can still dodge roll to make up for taking up the charm slot. Edit: Just realize that he did use her at the end...

Hi, Sample. If you want to do this type of challenge for the full game, I recommend doing it from a minimalist approach, not a complete no jump run. That way, people won't get mad if you do too many jumps and you will still play the game in a totally different way. See ya!
Holy heck thanks for a m i l l i o n views that's incredible!! Check out my challenge on the full game if you're interested! A few things to note before commenting: 3:06, 3:10, and 9:36 are NOT jumps, although they certainly can look like it. 9:36 is just an example of Miss Chalice's parry dash, which gives a little bit of height without using the jump button (I use this a ton in the final phase and in my video on the full game). 3:10 is just the passive height that you gain from the invincibility super, which I explicitly use later to make the Mortimer Freeze fight possible. 3:06 is an interesting one, but also not a jump. As it turns out, standing on the bridge as you go into the third phase pops you up a bit, even if you don't press anything. I didn't notice this while playing or editing, but I just tested it since a few people mentioned it. That all being said, I did accidentally drop through a platform after the Mortimer Freeze fight ended, so that's on me haha.

If anyone is wondering, only the first and forth gauntlets are possible, and only with ms. Chalice. The horse requires jymps obviously, the priest requires jumps for the candles, and the queen require a jump because the cannons are slightly off the ground.
The secret boss was so easy that when I defeated it I did it without jumping (because I played with chalice and my strategy was to roll so I didn’t take damage) and without knowing that they changed when I turned around, I seriously though that they changed randomly
learning for the howling aces you can duck the beam that comes straight on the platform if you duck as you move the plane a bit, it will make ya hotbox small enough for the laser to miss saw a speedrunner do it
This would have required a lot of luck/RNG, but saltbaker can glitch out if on the first phase he tries to attack on one side, and then attempts the same attack on the other side. This makes it where he freezes and you can just keep shooting until he’s dead. Edit: the only reason I know this is because it happened to me
Quick tip for thumbnails. Instead of “how I beat…” try “can I beat..” I find it adds a bit more tensity in challenging parts due to the uncertenty of wether the challenge can be done. Love the channel thou, keep up the good work

There's actually a secret boss using the graveyard, npc mountain climber winners, and the broken relic in the shop, buuuuuut i did it without jumping yesterday... Also, you can actually replay it by pressing lt and rt at the same time.
If you stand under Glumstone's right puppet (as in the right of the screen) and shoot upward with the spreadshot, you cannot be hit, or at least the chance is extremely small. It hurts the puppet and destroys gnomes rocketing toward you. It also requires no jumping. It may work with the left puppet too, but I prefer the right one.

2:15 moonshine mob is definitely the easiest dlc boss, I would know from doing no-hit attempts with the cursed relic charm
I think mortimer freeze is the easiest to defeat with an A+ (jumping) as I have done it before

Dlc feels too easy
I think this is a glitch, but when I was fighting Esther Winchester (the cowboy) it got stuck in phase 2 and I killed it before the transition

There's actually a secret boss using the graveyard, npc mountain climber winners, and the broken relic in the shop, buuuuuut i did it without jumping yesterday...
Also, you can actually replay it by pressing lt and rt at the same time.

One thing that could make the last phase of Saltbaker easier is parrying the Crackshot super, though only possible with Ms Chalice
If you stand under Glumstone's right puppet (as in the right of the screen) and shoot upward with the spreadshot, you cannot be hit, or at least the chance is extremely small. It hurts the puppet and destroys gnomes rocketing toward you. It also requires no jumping. It may work with the left puppet too, but I prefer the right one.
