Following the popularity of the Kona Electric and Hybrid, Hyundai’s best-selling subcompact SUV, Hyundai expands its electrified SUV line-up to its flagship SUV in Europe. The new Santa Fe is the first Hyundai in Europe to go on sale with the new ‘Smartstream’ hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain.

For the first time, the new Santa Fe comes with a Terrain Mode selector: a control knob located in the center console to conveniently switch between different drive modes, optimising performance and HTRAC® All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) settings for a variety of driving situations. This feature includes unique modes for sand, snow and mud, as well as eco, sport, comfort and smart modes, the last of which automatically recognises the driving style and selects a mode so the driver does not have to.
A bold new design for a distinctive look
The new Santa Fe exterior design makes a unique statement in the SUV segment, combining rugged presence and sophistication. The striking front end design stands out through its distinctive wide grille shape, embracing the main headlamp units. The accentuated 3D pattern of the grille mesh emphasizes its robust character. Unique, eye-catching T-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) create an unmistakable signature graphic and also reveal the turn signal as dual function.
New Luxury Package for a more premium feel
For the first time in a Hyundai vehicle, the new Santa Fe also offers an optional Luxury Package for an even more sophisticated feel. The trim’s exterior includes a dedicated 20-inch wheel design and front and back lower bumpers and side cladding which match the body paint colour, rather than matte black.
New, premium interior design options
The new Santa Fe interior now provides more space, comfort, and convenience compared to the previous model. It takes the car to a new level of luxury with every component finished in premium soft-touch materials. It features a new lower dashboard design, a redesigned centre console and a new 10.25-inch AVN touchscreen. The new floating centre console with shift-by-wire buttons is connected to the crash pad in a smooth curve. For the first time, the new Santa Fe comes with a Terrain Mode selector: a control knob located in the centre console to conveniently switch between different drive modes.
The buttons are all centered for intuitive and ergonomic use. From the driver’s seat, everything is within easy reach. The cupholder can be closed when not in use and the tray under the console provides additional storage space. The premium interior updates are rounded off by a new 12.3-inch fully digital cluster.

Nicely done, I used to own a 2005 Santa Fe, an excellent car, no problems at all, after 176 000 miles, my daughter wrecked it, car was totaled but fortunately my daughter was fine.
I'm actually proud of Korean car manufacturers, they managed to achieve a very high level in car design and car manufacturing quality in general

Vladimir . While I agree with your logic, Hyundai is “ not new to this game”. The third iteration of the Santa Fe, is but a @ major refinement “ of the previous two. Who wouldn’t want the push button drivetrain and the digital dashboard and larger infotainment center?

@@withstyle7816 agreed, all badge no substance and over valued by a long way. Any vehicle that can loose 25% of its value year on year is trash and even the manufacturer knows it. Just go and ask what their guaranteed value is at the end of a 4 or 5 year finance deal. You will be shocked what they offer. Q5 they offered $15k after 4 years on $85k new car. Trash.

I'd like for the next generation that this santa fe will have at least two real exhaust pipe like all models from 2006 to 2019 had it... especially 2006-2011 ones.
The car looks like 15-30% more aggressive and sporty with these real exhaust pipes.

they placed the line keep assist button on the steering wheel. That's a very good decision. What I don't like in my 2020 santa fe that I have to press this button on the left bottom panel when I take a highway.

인테리어는 약간은 링컨 생각나게하는 센터콘솔등 북미취향에 맞느듯하며 전체적으로 디자인이 훨씬 나아졌고 프리미엄 브랜드를 제외하고 일반브랜드중에서는 이정도면 최고수준인듯... 그러나 엔진과 변속기등 자동차의 가장기본이되는 구동계의 근본적인 개선이 없이는 한계가 명확할수밖에 없을거라고 생각합니다. 저는 온타리오주에 거주하는데 최근 차 바꿀때가되어 산타페,투산포함 현대차 여러대 시승해 봤는데 엔진과 변속기의 반응은 타사대비 참 실망스럽더군요. 결국 이번에도 현대차는 패스해야 할것 같습니다, 내일은 기아차 시승하러 갑니다
