This motor on this 2004 YZ250F was locked up and left to die for a few years. The owner decided he wanted the bike useable again for his son and met the price required to do so. I didn't plan on shooting any content with this job but I decided to just shoot the entire process and throw something together to show what all goes into a job like this to do it properly.
    Hope you enjoy

Hey great video. Just curious…how long did that take you in total?

It took me about 15 hours, broken up over a few days. This video does not show going through the entire transmission and hand cleaning every part that goes back in with acetone and oil and a tooth brush.

Yep great 👍. I think I’m in the ball park when I do an engine like this. I was curious how long someone with alot more experience like you took. I always learn something from your videos thanks 🙏

I have a 2010 ktm 125 that won’t shift to 6th gear. I seen the other video when the bike that didn’t shift to third I’m thinking that could be the problem what do you think?

I think you got a better deal than you realize! That’s an upgraded bridge and pickup, probably also electronics.

Mannn there was 40 on things I would have liked to clean up. First thing to go are those busted plastics. But main focus was the motor. That’s what we did.
