Another quality episode and thanks for giving more detail on costs it really makes the prospect of building one tempting ! Also the comment regarding anything goes is spot on in model railways 00 or 0 gauge I try to be an utter purist but with this I love how you can just let go and just enjoy what’s going on without overthinking it ! Really exciting mate.
@@joshw6226 cheers buddy but yeah the layout is going okay slowed down a little painting buildings is getting a little tedious but hopefully have a little of an activity burst later this week !
Hi there, thanks very much! That’s a really kind comment. I’m enjoying making the videos and I’m hoping to encourage others to get involved in the hobby. I would be really grateful if you were happy to subscribe and check back for new videos :) many thanks!
What a remarkable achievement in such a relatively short time. Lockdown gave me the chance to attempt to replicate something on the lines (forgive the pun) of Jackson Stevens' tramway featured in the 1958 Pathe film, but my progress has been very slow by comparison to what you have managed. Are your locos track or battery powered? Looks great fun!
Thank you very much Tom; very kind comment indeed. Do you have any videos of your tramway on RUclips? Sounds great! Locos are all battery powered as the train is unpowered. I quite fancied the simple life! Be sure to subscribe and watch this space for updates (there’s a new one coming soon hopefully! :) ) best wishes, J
Excuse me but could you please tell me where do you get the track from? I’d like to find the 16mm gauge track but for the life of me dosent know where to buy it
Hi there, I used a mix of Peco SM32 (purchased from Derails Models online - check them out, they are great) and Cliff Barker track from his website. Both excellent outlets with fast delivery .
I am aware of his tragic and unforeseen passing. Terrible terrible shame and a real blow to the hobby. His energy and commitment to making garden railways affordable and accessible to all will be hugely missed by everyone. My thoughts are very much with his family.
“Quirky and anything goes” that about sums it up for me, TBH. Thanks for another good video. Les
It sure does for me too. Hope you are well Les! Many thanks as always
Keep it up Josh what a lovely railroad you have.
Thanks very much as always. Much appreciated.
Looking great Josh, you need some dwarf conifers and miniature shrubs along that fence line now would look really nice
That’s a good idea indeed. I’ll look into it. Cheers :)
You've made so much progress in such a short space of time! ☺👍
Thanks Leesh!
Hey Josh. Great video as always.
All you need to do now is save a few schillings and get a live steamer! Lol
Many thanks Tim. That’s certainly in the plan. I look forward to that day very much!
Best wishes

Cheers Scott! Glad you’re enjoying the videos. You should definitely build one :) how’s your layout coming on?

Nice one Josh. I `ve just discovered `philsharples` models, really good value, easy and fun to build also.
Thanks! They are great models and perfect for modellers of all abilities. Lots of room for customisation too
Hi Josh, Ive watched all your videos, you've got a lovely little line and some great rolling stock, keep the videos coming and keep up the good work!
