Ah I miss my old home town. You're not going to go to Captain Americas for a pint, it's a steak house that has an alco license. Lost Lane that you passed early in the video is walkway to the back of a pub - looks like it's called Tapped now, used to be a Porterhouse and even Judge Roy Beans before that (if my memory is not completely mush). No need for pubs on the street itself, let them do their shopping and I'll wander 30 seconds away up a side street to find a nice snug - Kehoes or Grogans being well placed favourites. I'm guessing the ice-cream places are busy due to the kids being off on mid-term break (half term to us in the UK) last week.
Grafton street/stephens green is beautiful, can you do video of scotsman trying pint guinness in dublin and see can you taste the difference v guinness in scotland or spain...
Kev , i love the lively positive coverage. The fact is, dublin has an undercurrent of druggy seedy anti social behaviour. I applaud your decision to turn a blind eye. 😂
