The Gallup polling on party affiliation, which has been very accurate, makes me think Trump will likely win the national vote by a couple points, which would also track with his overperformance of the polling averages in 2016, 2020.

Can someone explain how Nate silvers model has trump with less electoral points predicted than Harris, but a higher percent chance of winning the electoral college?
If the popular vote is shifting that much in swing states that are dominated by blue policy and propaganda, then why would the swing states not follow suit? I know we are weary of getting over confident but I see no world where NY and CA move to the right and the swing states stay the same or move to the left.

My son who lives in Texas, tells me that many young people who move there from other states don’t vote. They usually don’t change their official address from their parents’ home in CA or wherever. He knows this in part because his job involves investigations.

I already dropped my Mail-In Ballot off at the Post Office. My GF just filled her's out but still needs to mail it in. I like having the ability of taking my time to research the numerous judges before voting for them because Ohio doesn't list party affiliation for the county level ones. Plus I like to look up their backgrounds to see how they will rule from the bench.
