Hey man, great video! I also saw your other video on the fog light bezels install. I'm looking to do both the c-lights and the bezels too. Do you have both of them as DRLs? If so, Do you have both of them hooked up to the same DRL harness? Or are the c-lights hooked up with the Diode Dynamics DRL harness and the bezels hooked up through the fuse box? Thanks!
skeurton hey, I do have both as drl. The c-light is hooked up to the diode dynamics drl harness and the bezel is hooked up through the fuse box. Both work perfectly and no issues.
Hey, just installed mine yesterday, was wondering if you knew if the t taps that were included with the kit were water proof because I heard that they have been known to cause problems. Not to sure but wanted to see if you had any opinions on it. Thanks
Hey, I'm not sure if they are water proof but then again I don't think I have ever seen a water proof t tap. Sounds like a gimmick a manufacturer would use to charge you more but hey I could be wrong. I have had these t taps on the car for probably a year now and it has gone through the 4 season in NY and I don't have any issues. I think you will be good with the ones the kit comes with.
I just sprayed it. Alot of people recommend scuffing the surface but I figured if the primer didn't mess up then I would be good. It worked out for me.
Hey, not sure I understand but if your high beam is turning on when the park light is on then the wrong wires were connected. Double check to make sure the correct wires were connected to the correct factory harness (per the c-light instructions).

Yeah I guess I can't complain but NY humidity level is typically above 65, oof. This is why I like to work on cars in the fall lol

Can you remove the original signal light after installing that C Light? Like just having the C light and as a turn signal.
Yes you can but you would need to scanned the bulb or change the bezel

Hey, yes, the premium and base have the same lights so it will work for the base as well

That can is it paint and primer in one?
Yeah, I did primer then the paint only to realize the paint I was using was a paint and primer. Whoops lol

How did you connect the turn signal (yellow wire) with the blue wire?
I ran a seperate wire with t-taps to connect the 2 wires together.
How did you get the high beam from turning on on parking light ?
