Love this! I'm adding embellishments to mine, including hand embroidery, beading etc to make it my own. Have to say, it's been such an enjoyable project. Would highly recommend it. As soon as I finish adding the bells and whistles, I will send you some pics.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This was how I was thinking of doing my Advent calendar, but I didn't want to start without reassurance. All the other videos did it differently and not how I thought. You and I think similarly. Thank you!! You have found a new fan!
Wahoo!! Then this video has worked a treat for you! I thought it may go down well, as you say, there aren't many out there and the ones that are do it old school quilt way.....which takes FOREVER and the binding really isn't needed for this, when bagging out will work perfectly, make it much more enjoyable and the little ones (or even adults) wouldn't care for how it was made. They just love it regardless! These fold up advents are slowly filtering through all the top brands now - they are so much more enjoyable to make too - I can see these becoming the only way compared to the old style ones. It's a shame I've stopped selling fabric now, but I think I'll still get these in every year as they are fun to do. Stuart. Good Luck with making yours, and send us a pic when you're done :)
Thank you for guiding us through!
