Hi love the videos just found it today!
When I bought my Jurassic I couldn't find a complete set of Ti bronze hardware in stock, so being impatient I went ahead and bronzed the stock hardware using my gas stove. It worked so well that I haven't seen a need to replace it yet. I was able to do the clip/filler screws to match as well. Also, it may sound silly, but I've found the pry bar on a set of fingernail clippers (easily removed) works perfectly in a pinch for the spanner bit.
I think red and bronze would have been sick also.

Nice! I just did a 20CV Smock yesterday with green micarta scales and a full Ti hardware and clip that I anodized bronze. Turned out pretty killer.
I think my next knife will finally be a XM-18 but I really like the bowie blade shape so I'm gonna wait for one of those. My preferred configuration would be either the vintage one or the battlefield pickup.
Love the videos sir! And that harpoon spanto looks sweet with the bronze hardware! I suggest heat anodizing the lock bar insert screw, clip and filler tab screws, then it'll all match😃 It's pretty easy to do on the stove top or with a torch!

Just bought a Xm-18 harpoon spanto with battle bronze lock and orange g10. Looking to buy a battle bronze titanium front scale eventually to Finnish it.. What color of hardware do you think would be cool with that? I also think I saw a bronze liner for sale recently on gp knives.

There's bronze clips & filler tabs in stock at a couple places. I know Blade HQ has battle bronze in stock too. I've got bronze hardware showing up tomorrow from DLT for my Eklipse.
The lengths you go to too get a hinderer in a person's hands who are close to you haha.

Yes. Tons. **edit** looks like they're sold out at the moment but that's pretty rare. Normally they carry tons of choil variants. Id be willing to bet they'll have more in a week or so.

I really wish the screws on the pocket clip and clip filler weren't domed Phillips. Such a weird design idea to use them... And flat head, and hex, and a spanner lol.

Hey M.C. I have a hinder with a stripped out body screw any tips for me to get it out i tryed reaching out to hinder but got the cold shoulder
You might be able to fit a thick rubber band around the bit and press it into the stripped screw head. That excess friction can sometimes be enough to turn it.

Dude I just cut up a Chase Sapphire metal-ish thick credit card that would’ve been perfect.
I installed the copper screws on my eklipse and found out the hard way how soft they are they should not even be made or sold. So I wanted to leave them on the show side and go back to the stainless factory installed on the titanium side that way when I want to take the knife apart just leave the show side copper screws alone. I lost my damn factory screws. Now I would need to purchase new ones. I can’t believe I have every single part to every knife except those screws that I actually need right now.
I've installed copper screws before with no issues. You just need to be super careful. Same way I learned about the pivot.
Metal Complex I installed them perfectly just snug to where scale had no gap up against the titanium but when taking the knife apart there was no way to not strip the heads because how soft they are. They are a one time use in my opinion. I use wiha bits and all the precautions that should be used on any T6 screw. I actually had to use a screw extractor to remove two of the copper screws.
Not my experience at all. I've got a local buddy who has them on his half track. Its been back multiple times for cleaning and its still using the screws. I showed it on the channel a while back.
Metal Complex my experience was install once then go for maintenance as soon as I put any force to take out I felt the soft metal of the head start to strip out. I might buy them again and see if I get a different result. They are cheap. I remember only snugging them down. I always wondered why rick doesn’t go to a larger size torque size since the heads are big enough to except a larger than T6. The titanium and stainless screws I have had absolutely no problems with though.

Dude... Did I hear you say you were going to put Loctite on the pivot? I'm very surprised you would do that, almost everyone nowadays has learned the virtues of plumbers tape... sometimes you have to put multiple layers, but easy to adjust after, stays put, and no danger of removing the pivot screw, no hassles or heating or worse...
I'm definitely still gonna use blue loctite. It has never created an issue for me before.
