Our friend had an elderly couple next door who out of compassion, I guess, let a homeless guy put up a tent in their back yard. It took three years to get rid of him and all his buddies, who proceeded to move in and take over the home.
Years ago this one apt. building I lived in had homeless people who would come and visit some of the friends they had who lived there and they started hanging out at our apts. they would hang out in our laundry room and were literally living in our hallway. I could go on. It doesn't get better but worse. Not a lot was done about it. We eventually moved to another apt. that would not allow that to happen.

We had a battle with our neighbors because the people who are on the lease or not staying there and other people were and they are a nuisance and the more police runs that go to that residence can get them kicked out as well just a heads up

When I grew up in the 60's and 70's we never locked our doors. Now we never leave our doors unlocked.
Your door is not locked unless you have a double cylinder dead bolt and you are home with a key turned half way from the inside.
