Most communities in fact I would suspect all of them have a solicitor/attorney or law firm representing them. It is stunning to me how many times I see on RUclips where the legal representation for these municipalities/police departments etc. do not get out ahead of this and say we can’t be doing this this is unconstitutional. Additionally, the people who run the show, you know the elected officials should be checking with their legal representation before they do something stupid like this. There was a lot more than $75,000 on the table and they should be very grateful that he didn’t push the issue any further. FAFO. Apparently some solicitors/attorneys/law firms finish in the bottom of their class, someone has to and they don’t know any better and you’re paying them for that.
I think the goal of too many people in government is not to obey the Constitution and laws , but to figure out how to circumvent them on their own behalf. They hire lawyers to help them do that , and these are the results.
@1:00 "Most importantly he shared with me an audio recording" ALWAYS RECORD THE POLICE! Without this record of fact he'd be violated without any avenue for justice.
How about they turn such complaints into criminal complaints? Mispreasance is good for barring a person from office in the state, and the federal charge is good for everywhere else. We could really go further, by saying the use of force or intimidation to deprive someone of exercise of rights is terrorism, a felony everywhere. Lack of a pointed hood or a swastika armband does not make it any less terrorism.
I'm starting to believe that city attorney's are the lawyers that couldn't get work elsewhere. How they let government people/programs do this without stopping them proves my point.

lol. They just want to be close to young kids so they do the job for free.
Son showing up to next practice wit the latest cleats 😎😎😎😂
one million % comment ! ! ! BEAUTIFUL jajaja
5 quarters.... ?
ot
HOA act the same way...how about coaches cant coach their own children? is that too much? too bad.
So then,Did you donate the money back into the local sports program?
I’d like to know the full story
@1:00 "Most importantly he shared with me an audio recording" ALWAYS RECORD THE POLICE! Without this record of fact he'd be violated without any avenue for justice.
What perspective? That the coaches favor some kids? They absolutely do.
He violated the ethics, what about the coaches/dads that are letting their sons play simply because they’re their sons? Is that not unethical?
How about they turn such complaints into criminal complaints?
"In that [official] violated [complainant] civil rights when [official] was bound by oath to defend the laws and constitution of the state, where it is not at variance with that of the United States, he is here subject to criminal complaint of mispreasance, and breach of federal civil rights laws."
Smart lawyers. A jury would have given him 10 times that much.
He should have gone to the games and got arrested. That would have been a much bigger out of court settlement.
Love all the mounted animals behind him.....down to earth guy !
Whether it's federal government or local government, all government wants to separate the child from their parents. If you complain at a school board meeting that your grammar school-aged child has access to pawn-ography, they'll try to have you removed, trespassed, and arrested... it's the liberal way!
I can imagine this guy being loud and unbearable at games...
Who were that school district's lawyers? They should be fired for not warning district personnel about constitutional rights of free speech and due process. Those attorneys, not the TAXPAYERS, should have had to pay the settlement ⚖️👎
So what did this guy post? I never understood what he posted that they took such exception to.
So what did he do? Nothing? I doubt it.
Cool. Show evidence that he did something or delete your comment.
bootlicker
Government punishes man for his non-threatening speech. This is literally what the first amendment was put in for, though on a minor scale, still valid as the first amendment doesn't say "unless it just some kids playing sports". He called out unfair actions in a government funded program and they retaliated, its that simple.
Key word: settlement. He didn't win. He and his lawyer just made a big noise and the squeaky wheel got the grease. As usual, the media don't hesitate to congratulate the delinquent parent who can't control his anger. Nothing new.
The report seemed awfully light on actual information.

I suspect the guy is one of those who ruins games for the participants.
Are you really this uneducated
Gross negligence and abuse of powers should be paid from the offenders own pocket.
I think the town of Quinter should be recognized for even comprehending the Facebook post. I know I didn’t. He lost me at “All 5 quarters”, then it was all downhill from there.
Can you at least let the lady finish? 2:29.
Parents have been screaming at refs for decades
Slarty... your right on , all these audit watchers need to call the town mayor and get the coach fired.
He needs to sue each one of them involved as private persons so that the money comes out of their pockets.
$75 k is weak, go for $5 million. ❤
Yeah those taxpayers who aren't involved need to pay this MAGA traitor 5 million, so he can buy Trump steaks, Trump perfume, Trump watches, Trump NFTs, Trump Bibles, Trump flags, Trump pajamas, Trump glasses, Trump trains, Trump garbage bags, Trump fentynal, Trump baby oil, Trump Pee Pee tapes from Russia, etc.
Almost 20yrs ago i accidently got my kid blackballed from softball. We started with 2 coaches and their kids played infield. Then they started dating single moms from the team and their kids became infielders. Then someones friend showed up and got made a coach... it got to the whole infield was coaches kids or coaches gf kids. And i asked why..... they didnt let her play little league in our tiny town ever again.
The real problem is all the adults who forgot that the kids are there to PLAY and have FUN
8 players? ... 5 "quarters"? ... WTF?
The rest of the people pay that 75K, since government has no money of its own.
That's why I loved growing up in a neighborhood not a community.
I would want the mayor of the city to post a public apology on the city’s website and leave it up for 10 consecutive business days.
Then pay his attorney’s fees plus the 75 thousand dollars settlement.
Good for this Father these coaches are beyond petty and egotistical this Lawsuit should have been more 150,000.00
5 quarters? Is this real in kids football?
He needs more deer in his house.
Unfortunately it won't change a single thing. As long as they have swollen egos from presumes power they will never change. Plus that 75k didn't come from their pockets.
In Canada, some minor hockey associations have banned all parents from attending their kids' games. Hockey is a big deal in Canada, so these decisions aren't made lightly. They are made out of concern for the safety of everyone involved, which includes parents, players and officials.
Good Grief! I've never heard of Quinter before, and I hope to never hear of it again. Must have awful people running that town.
My alderman called me a problem because he voted down a stoplight at my neighborhoods intersection. I made sure that conversation and his voting history was made public in the next elections and volunteered for his opponent. Now he is unemployed :)
Good for him!
Yes but how much of that does the lawyer get?
If any of us normal people not in a position of authority cost our employer or the company that we work for $75,000 we would be fired yet these public employees keep their job and worse yet the $75,000 that they cost the city or the insurance company isn’t filed against their bond. Why is that? Why are they not held partially responsible for the decisions that they personally make?
City elected employees and completely out of control.
I bet their HOA leaders as well
*they're
NEVER settle!! NEVEWR!! This guy thinks that 75k is a large amount for a town??? It's like a $20 bill in the budget. NEVER SETTLE!!
who paid the town?or the team coaches??
But what did he tweet?
How did this correct the Quinter Recreational Program? "City dollars" are taxpayers dollars. I'm glad he got paid but who got fired over this nonsense.
