I bought my first house 5 years ago with updated electrical and heating. The previous owner had the neighbor do it all... heating vents from basement to ground floor needs to be strapped up to the flooring and I just recently had the bathroom remodeled before the light fixture above the sink burned the house down.. (hallway lighting was replaced at the same time because i swear someone glued the dome to the fixture so it wouldnt come off when the bulb needed to be changed).. other rooms will hopefully be in the near future..

My radiator caught fire once because my landlord hadn’t updated any of the original wiring.
The house was built in the 1920’s.
