@@rahmatnaimali9997 I think we all know dudes that are neighborhood legends that didn't make it out. I made it out and was the least talented. D1(BCS) and D1AA (FCS) offers in football. We had pure freak athletes. Unfortunately the streets took most and the others weren't smart enough. Them dudes that would drink blue bull and colt 45 like water to cool off during and after pickup games and ball all day. This back when muggsy bogoues would come to the hood and ball. Baseball dudes had cannons for arms. Talented rich hoods.

And being entertained by it, even if that meant heartbreak at the end of the season. Without losers there would be no winners. No great games, no great rivalries. No great spectacle. Verticals are a lot like 40 times, every good leaper or fast guy supposedly has a 40+ inch vert or runs a 4.2. Then you look at combine numbers and realize most of those guys run 4.3-4.4 or have 35-40 inch verts. Only a select few guys over the years are running a 4.2 40 or have 40+ vert. What made Moss so good at catching contested jump balls was his ability to track the football better than anyone and he was great at timing when to go up for it. Combine that with a 39 inch vert (which is elite when compared to other accurately recorded verticals, and not the exaggerated numbers that people throw around all the time) and all time great hands and you get Moss.
