I just want to watch a speedster show what speedsters do and if he loses or dies, Make it understandable don’t just kill him because the audience knows homelander is more powerful than a train. In the eternals the fight scene between their superman and flash type characters portrayed the perfect example of how those types of fights should go in my opinion

Atrain uses his super speed to inject homelander with the virus butcher cooks up in a surprise attack manages to inject home lander but homelander grabs Atrain rips him apart and is homelanders last kill before the virus kills him and they both die laying side by side ( but that’s in ssn5) giving Atrain his redemption and poetic ending to the show Atrain being basically the catalyst to starting the show by killing hughie gf it would be a fitting end and almost seems obvious to me 🤷♂️
the problem with this theory is that its not only predictable but makes way to much sense. With every season it seems the writing has taking a dramatic downward spiral to the season before it. Season 4 was filled with non-sense, a 3rd Franky Story retold for the 3rd time and gay stuff to coincide LGBT month, and a bunch of other worthless stuff. So, I dont see Them ever using your theory as it makes to much sense and people would just call it Lazy writing.

As a speedster A-Train should actually be able to generate more power in a punch than Homelander, not only is he fast but he is strong too and if you combine the two it would likely match or beat Homelander. Not only that being a speedster means he has super reflexes and can react to attacks as if they're in slow motion. We know this because with out super reactions and reflexes speedsters would run into a wall and kill themselves. So, in my opinion Homelander shouldn't even be a threat to A-train because although he could kill him there is no way he would ever catch him. A-Train could literally be asleep and still react fast enough to evade Homelanders attacks.
It be cool if in the finale like last season where starlight during the big fight found out she can fly, well.lets say levitate, i hope we see atrain find out he can phase through things such as HL lasers or maybe a punch thats supposed to kill him, wamt to see him use it to win or survive to fight another day

We saw Hughie’s dad gain the power of phasing, what if he was actually able to control it? Based on Homelander’s fight with Queen Maeve in season 3 his durability seems to be more similar to Luke Cage rather Superman, only being durable on the outside. If someone phased through his chest and crushed his heart or something similar would that work? If that could work, phasing is usually a power that comes on the side with super speed. Would A-Train also be able to phase?

A-Train is as fast and strong as the writers want him to be, so all else is speculation.

So shouldn’t A-train be able to think at Super Speed as well in order to stay oriented when he uses his powers? Technically, he should be able to devise different strategies far quicker than the average man. He should be on par with Sage when it comes to his ability to learn things quickly but since his brain doesn’t constantly regenerate, he probably can’t retain the information for long. I’m only saying all of this because I wonder if his quick thinking and Sage’s Genius will be used in tandem to bring HL down.

A train can only run 1600 kilometers per hour and that's when he's pumped up with V he could never pull a reverse flash because reverse flash is moving his hand at light speed and even if he could with his normal speed somehow Homelander can still react to it because he literally reacted to a C4 explosion in the end of season 1

As far as A-Train is concerned. This is absolutely a valid and relevant theory, but it took Kimiko one sneak shot to his kneecap to put him out of comission... Of course this could be dodged by a wiser and privvy A-Train. I think the writers will make us believe for a split second he might be Homelander's bane, but then just as fast as we start standing up out of our seats, Homelander will pull some crazy one shot move on him by lasering his knee caps or destroy the ground underneath him. Dont think for a Second that just like Batman, Homelander has some kind of hidden contingency plan that would stop him dead in his tracks.... Imo, a train has it.
Just this season alone there have been two separate instances of a train saving someone without homelander even noticing despite being in the same building and having super senses.
On top of that homelander has been hit multiple times by people moving at normal human speeds while a train was moving so fast against Annie that from his perspective time was slowed down.
The only real reaction time feat homelander has had this entire series is saving butcher but it's basically an outlier because he never does anything like that again and as I said he's been tagged by people without super speed.
Meanwhile a train has multiple feats across multiple seasons of him appearing and disappearing in front of people before they even know what happened.
He might fly faster than a train can run tho but even that's hard to say since we still don't know A-trains max now.

Superpowered people have existed since World War II and they have made no impact on how history unfolded because they weren’t used for anything other than being celebrities that generate profits for the corporation that made them.
The corporation already knows they’re dangerous weapons that can’t really be controlled. They probably don’t want them studying and practicing, and becoming more skilled with their abilities. That just makes them a bigger liability and potential danger if they decide to go off the rails like Homelander is about to.
