i’m so confused by the threat assessment this game. marie was so clearly the problem. how do you let zhuladok and kozilek stay on the board and not expect to die?
"They're all setting up. If they had a board wipe, they wouldn't play into it, and if they had spot removal, they'd kill Zhudolok before Marie untaps. So... they have nothing? That game's gonna come down to a lucky topdeck or a stomp."
Yeah the “don’t hit the precon” thing is real but not when it’s the $150 eldrazi one 😂
I have been thinking the threat assessment in most of edh channels is weird. Then I remembered all groups im in have this thing of being more aggro towards the winner of the last game, having mercy on the guy with the bad start and "that guy" only wanting to ruin hes best frinds game with absolutely no sense of self preservation. From this 3rd person view it looks like a professional football match but for these guys I think its more like goofy balling where losing doesn´t matter.
Surprised Marie didn’t get her stuff tapped down and skipped her untap step. Her board was scary and he paid for not doing it.
I appreciate you letting us know how long the games took and also displaying the turn count on the bottom. Those are good stats.
The owner of bladegriff prototype isnt the one who gets to choose the target permanent to destroy, its the person who gets hit
So the yusei triggers targets the dude with artifacts but not the board of 25-30+ damage from creatures that cannot be blocked due to an all is dust?
I'm convinced it was a revenge play from the generous gift.
I don't usually nitpick about threat assessment, but those Yosei targets were a swing and a miss for me.
Im just curious at how you go and lock out the only other threat on the board instead of the one whos very clearly able to take you out. If Marie's choice to hit was Felix or Max, and Felix essentially removes max from the game instead, it's the same as asking to be taken out.
Right that was the stupidest shit I ever saw, she just casted a one sided board wipe and presents over 24 damage with one creature alone who can discard to counter spells and you Destroy the mono-white artifact deck player???
its called bad gameplay like most of their videos lol
W-Why didn't the Eldrazi get tapped down with Yosei? Why willingly hand the game over on a silver platter?
ooMG a GurL
I have no earthly idea why Marie got to sit there with Zhulodok and Kozilek that long, especially knowing she had Firshrieker. Why not attack Marie with the Kozilek copy, forcing her to double block and lose her own copy, as well as why not tap down HER board with Yosei??
I swear people lose commander games because of threat assessment more than anything else.
All Is Dust from an eldrazi deck is always brutal.
Yeah the game ended there. Shuffle up and start over
Yea, this seems like another case of bad threat assessment. A removal spell should've been reserved for that Zhulodok, and where was fhe removal/counterspell for Kozilek?
Happy to see another game with Cadric. He deserves more attention. Recently built him as an aggressive “legend cascade”-type deck and I feel like I got some good ideas for includes from watching Felix’s deck in action.
The colorless Eldrazu deck won?!?!?!?! I am shocked! No, not really...
Noticing a trend. Marie always wins.
But based on their threat assessment.... Well... Marie is gonna win I guess 😂
If it's anything like my group, maybe she's someone's gf and pouts when you blow up her stuff, or gets aggressive and harassing like Olivia from commander at home
Simpin up for the rare female within magic. It's quite sad to watch.
@@brettrohrer5714 quite the opposite. Its annoying af lmfao
Sad threat assessment… tap down max and then instantly die to whats clearly on the board. Good players i guess
Marie should’ve been threat assessed more I think, she got way too much value early for an eldrazi deck
+ a turn 4 zholudok is so so scary that’s all I target lmao
Yea, this is a case of bad threat assessment. That Zhulodok would've been removed ASAP if not already countered if I was in that game.
@@Devilish420 10000% , we get it
@@_jordaank_4970 facts.
I would really love to watch some games with Liesa, Shroud of Dusk as part of the table
Were people just trying to be nice to Marie or something lol
Finally some Alela 💙🖤
Shouldn't the Stone of Erech exile Yosei with its replacement effect? That would have stopped the Yosei death trigger, no?
And yes, this game is rather lackluster with the threat assessment.
I'm Felix's Number One Fan. I love seeing that Cadric Deck.
As a longtime fan of this channel, I have to say there is a very consistent theme across many of the games - terrible threat assessment. I don't know if it's a personal thing, like you guys feel like you're being mean by targeting someone, but man it just baffles me sometimes that players aren't playing with their heads. 4Fun games can still contain strategic choices.
This game got me booing Felix every video until he learns proper threat assessment
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think this new Alela sucks. Her abilities are kinda lackluster to me, I think there are far better goading commanders in better colors for goading. Now OG Alela was Queen!
Main issue is that she's not doing much by herself. Even giving a +1/+1 to faeries would make her more "full"
She doesm't even have Flash. I like her in a really casual setting. Talion is stronger but not faerie tribal and Tegwyll is straightforward.
That deckbox Felix has is clean ah.
The dudes pronunciation of Felix makes me want to die
He's French.
@@MTGMuddstah can you get back to the other comments on why the threat assessment was so excruciatingly bad and let Marie win?? Would love to know what was going through all your heads. How did you guys not see Marie as the issue
Alela in the precon is missing a clear gameplan. It needs to decide on a "route" which the Commander Masters precon definitely already decided (even if it's missing some optimal cards).
well, there is an infinite mana combo in that deck out of the box (Hullbreaker Horror + Cloud of Faeries + Sol Ring), so you can probably do something with it. Maybe add a casual (4+ mana) tutor to make it a more reliable plan.
@@wolfair yeah, but as you stated it's missing reliable tutors and really doesn't know if it wants to be a faeries tribal deck or a drawgo that's playing on other people's turn, and really doesn't have a "close the game out" plan. And even in a precon environment, it's hard to "stick" that combo with any sort of opponent interaction.
Heck, it's even missing a spell stutter sprite.
Where are Seb's Alela triggers?
I would like to know what is the storage box that Felix has at the and please?
Can i ask what level is the eldrazi deck in your opinion? Because we played in a pod with this guy and he sad that it was a power level 7 and we got really salty about it at the end 😅
That seems about right considering it's not an upgraded version.
7 is correct
@Blacklodge_Willy I guess we sucks 😂
If we lost to a level 7 I guess our decks are 7 too 😅
I hate the Zhulodok precon because its power level is aeons beyond anything I've tried to craft myself.......and then you upgrade it and it's even W O R S E.
I really don't get why Maxime was beat on the entire game while Marie got to play the game for free and win uncontested. Felix's tap down target was basically kingmaking at its finest.
Where did Felix get the storage box from
That’s right 🥳
Felix missed a TON of tithe triggers.
He gained the treasures, I just didn't want to add an extra 5 minutes of narration saying "X didn't pay for Tithe"
So Eldrazi wins. Such fun. I refuse to play against Eldrazi
