Yet another one I havent heard before, nice job! If true, what a wild encounter, all of them. My dad and his cousin saw a “small sun drinking water” over lake Saimaa when he was 5 (cousin was 6, 1960) and grandma confirms that something happened, boys had been quite frantic and wide-eyed, even refused to sleep in their tent for the rest of the night. All are stoic Finns, not prone to flights of fancy, I have no choice but to believe them.
Thank you for sharing this incredible experience your dad and his cousin had. It must have been quite a memorable and mysterious moment for them.
@@storieslost Made dad a lifelong believer, but he hasnt seen others, just distant lights. Near a lake tho, they really dig our bodies of water..
Three things stood out for me in this story: 1) the object tilted to its side flying vertical, not horisontal like depicted in movies, 2). the object made an explosive sound as it left, which we hear a lot about from different sources now, not something that anyone had heard about back then 3). the berrybush. Interestingly berries and berrypickers are according to David Paulides (researcher of missing people) a reaccuring theme among missing people, just like proximity to water (amongst other things)
Glad to discover ufo stories from my homeland.
American mut here! (English, Irish, French, Italian, German, and Swedish) Glad I found this channel. I've always been interested in learning the histories of these particular countries and hearing these paranormal stories just adds a little bit to that! Awesome channel
Your visual aids in these videos are top notch. They're both creative and have a very classic paranormal feel
Dude your kill'n it! Really enjoying the encounters!
I believe Bo's story because I lived in Uppsala ,Sweden in the late 1950s. I observed a silver colored disc shaped object darting in and out of the Cumulus clouds. No man made aircraft could maneuver that way.
Could you ever think that it had interacted with a little child back at the time, I am very curious how the neighboors where feeling with these kind of visits.
Have you reported this to UFO Sverige?
There may be other witness reports on file in their archive that corroborate your sighting.
Uppsala is however 618,5 km (384 miles) from Vilhelmina. Did the UFO you saw fly horizontally or vertically?
@@Legionmint7091 It was flying in a zigzag pattern in an out of the clouds.
@Legionmint7091 No I didn't report it because I was young and nobody would have believed me.
I was 4 and a half in Hamburg, New York at the time (1954). There was a small woods near our house. I went into the woods. Later, my Mom and Dad would relate how I was so excited to tell them about the 'small men' I met in the woods. I often wonder how many others have had similar encounters? RT sends/envía, Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México...
Love your relating of Scandinavian stories!! Thx!
I believe him. The description of the ship taking off, if repeated correctly, shows he is most likely not making it up. He says that it turned on its side before shooting off. That small detail is crucial.
@christaylor4477 Agreed. Lazar explained that propulsion!
Why would that indicate the story being correct?
Bo Hallberg didn’t tell this story until 2015, meaning he had plenty of time developing the details, picking up elements from UFO-lore and contemporary science fiction. For example, the Star Wars bounty hunter Bobba’s Fett’s ship turn vertically. It first appears in The Empire Strikes Back, 15 years before Holmgren told the story to UFO-Sverige.
The bible also says that spaceships turn on their side, because the guidance system is in the bottom of the craft, and by turning sideways, the ship lines up its guidance system of the stars.😊😊😊
@@markpaul-ym5wg I sincerely doubt that. It sounds like an anachronistic, confirmation biased, interpretation by contemporary believers.
@Legionmint7091 Ezekiel chapter 1,verse 1.Please read the first 3 chapters.Take your time, and pay close attention to what it says.Your welcome brother.
This is now my go to UFO 🛸 channel . 👍
Really??🤣😆

Probably not alien-related, but when I was about 15 or 16 my friend and I went walking across the moors around Stanage Edge through the night. We were out in the middle of nowhere at about 2 am when off to the left we heard a sound that really didn't sound like it belonged in that environment.
It was the sound of a "BOING!", like a really cartoony spring going "boing!". The sound really unnerved us because we were miles from the nearest inhabited area. I've never forgot it.
This channel is sooo good. Keep the stories coming.
Hovering above the grund and the ship flying on it's side - both things that many of these encounters have in common
Yeah but an arrow shot at kid's hip from a distance? Sounds rather medieval, rather than hi-tech. Never heard of such a thing in connection with 3rd kind encounters.
This was an excellent story! Subscribed. Thank you!
Brilliant RUclips channel! Keep up the good work!
Well this was a nice surprise to start my weekend. Keep up the great work. 👏 👏 👏 👏
I love your stories, I'm pretty sure I believe them all so far. I love that you tell the stories no one has heard. No one should be afraid to tell their encounters for fear that they will be seen as crazy? It's great that you have a forum for these stories to be told. Ty
Thanks a lot! Glad you like it.
I love these encounter stories so I’ve just subscribed to your channel.
From Sweden hereb. Absolutely luv your channel. Keep up the good work!
Another top notch episode!
You should do one on the friendship case from Italy. I had a dream years ago where I woke up around 5 am and went outside to see a ufo crash in the horse field behind my yard. When looking inside I saw a grey alien which scared me. He then turned into a phonebook sized silver block with arms, legs, and a little face which wasn't so scary. He stayed with me for a week or two, told me his name, and taught me how to use my mind with levitation, clairvoyance, and telepathy. One day I woke up and he was gone with no warning. I was deeply sad to lose what seemed like such an important friend. I never saw his name written but was pronounced "see-nos". Years later as an adult, I came across a documentary about the Italian friendship case. Great story, but at the end they showed written names of other alien beings that were included in the event and as they showed, one stood out and freaked me out. The name shown was "Sinas". Really made me wonder everything about what dreams are. I have no idea if any of this is real or what but I can still rememer that dream like it happened today.
I appreciate you opening up about such a personal and intriguing encounter.
If you have more trouble telling Dreams and Reality apart, here are two simple rules to remember:
1)Dreams happen in your head when your eyes are closed
2)Reality happens outside your head when your eyes are open..
@@captainsensiblejr. very well aware
many experiencers are made to believe it's just a dream by those aliens.
She hovered above the ground but left a footprint at the potato field? I like the story and a child is a child.
😂maybe when she picked the potatoes, the weight made her slightly lower then her device adjusted back so she was hovering again. Seems plausible
I dunno how and where you find these stories, but I havent heard a bad one. Also pretty much all of them are new to me and Ive seen all the best youtube has to offer in the genre.
Thanks for the encouragment! Happy you like it!
Great Channel Keep it up !
Why would anyone in the 1950’s make up such a story for “attention”??people all over the world have common sense and decency before social media and the town would ridicule you and family members everywhere you went
Another one from Sweden I wasn't familiar with before. ^_^ Very interesting.
Elena Danaan - Earth's emissary for the Galactic Federation of Worlds have in her book 'A Gift from the Stars' written about an ET-race who are short and who have elongated heads and black, brown or grey eyes. They are called Ramay and comes from planet Rama in the star system Capella in Auriga constellation. She writes that Ramay practices interdimensional travel and space trans-curvature. They have been on Earth now and then since a very long time ago.
Love your channel man. Among the best I’ve seen. Especially as I am from Sweden. Not often you here about stories from the Nordic countries on RUclips.
A farmer boy from Sweden in the 1950 came up with that from nowhere ?
Thank you for telling cool stories
I'm a new subscriber and I really like your channel. Kinda like the Beyond Creepy channel . Good stories

Great video as always, even if this is typically one of those cases that I find more difficult to believe than many others.
Thank you!
You should rename this channel Scandinavian Stories Lost :-)
True! But scandinavia will eventually run out of stories 😅
I wonder if Scandinavia has a higher than normal occurrences of strange events?
@@nunyabitness9201 A lot of documentation is available, which is probably a main reason. But, who knows, perhaps the sparsely populated land makes it a preferred place to visit if you want to go unnoticed.
@@nunyabitness9201 You could be right, because lets not forget about the Hessdalen lights in Norway. These have been reported during the 1930s and they are still seen to this day, although not as frequently as they did back in the 30s.

Top notch! Thanks
I love hearing stories like this.
Thanks dude
The story share several elements similar to other cases in Sweden, even one from 1946! And that "pen" reminds me of the humanoid of Vestra Norrland, in 1955... It certainly deserves a deeper investigation, but I know that UFO-Sverige will do it and give us the results in time. Thanks for your work!
It’s of course impossible to tell if it’s true or not, especially because so much time had passed between the alleged experiences and when he decided to tell the story. One thing I find troublesome is that he claimed to have thrown the only means of communication with extraterrestrials he had in a well. It doesn’t seem very likely that a kid would do that. The fact that he claimed the woman was floating, and yet she produced footprints is a bit inconsistent as well. But with that being said it’s a fascinating story. Thank you for your great work and for sharing this interesting case.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It's always interesting to hear different perspectives on these cases.
@@storieslost Even though some details may have changed over the years doesn’t necessarily mean the entire story is false. However, there may be far more everyday explanations for a good part of Bo Hallberg’s story.
After all, he was very young when all this allegedly happened. I personally only remember fragments of my childhood at that age and I know that I on more than one occasion misinterpreted situations completely and even created false memories that never happened.
I’m sure something significant happened to Bo Hallberg at that age, the question is how much of it that are accurate memories and how much is embellishments or even false memories that were added in retrospect over time, or due to repression.
One thing I picked up on between the lines when reading the story on UFO-Sveriges webpage is that his stepfather most likely had anger issues. It is possible that at least some of the story is a fanciful cover up for actual events that were a lot more mundane and sad in its nature. For instance that his boots got burned and the missing potatoes. Even the alleged order from the extraterrestrial woman to bury parts of the saucer may have been an excuse for a completely different activity that the 8-year-old didn’t dare to reveal due to his stepfather’s bad temper. One have to ask oneself if it’s even reasonable to believe that an extraterrestrial woman would trust an 8-year-old boy to cover up an UFO-landing? Why didn’t she do it herself? It sounds to me like a typical fanciful story a kid would tell, placing himself in a hero’s position. The fact that his mother, Lilly, threw away the boots so that the stepfather wouldn’t find out what happened speaks volumes of what the family situation was like.
I’m not saying it’s all lies, but some parts of the story may have perfectly natural explanations that got woven into the general UFO story.
Mind you, the things the mother confirmed had nothing to do with extraterrestrials but were quite ordinary events in a boys life. A torn shirt with some blood on it doesn’t really indicate being shot by an extraterrestrial arrow, but may rather be an imaginative 8-year-old’s excuse to avoid being punished by an abusive stepfather. So does the burned ground that may have been the result of Bo playing with matches or a magnifying glass in the pasture, something he most definitely would have been severely punished for. The boots may very well have been burned while Bo desperately tried to stomp out the fire. The missing potatoes may have been the result of Bo being hungry due to either being denied food as punishment or from lack of food for the entire family. It may also have been the result of fundametalistic religious beliefs. Strict, and quite bonkers, religious sects were common in the area.
We also have to remember that all this happened in a very rural area in the far north of Sweden, in a county that is sparsely populated even today, and even more so in the late 1950’s. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Bo grew up with stories from the local folklore and added contemporary science fiction into the mix.
I don’t know if you are aware of it but the first one to describe “the grays aliens” was in fact a Swedish writer.
“In 1933, the Swedish novelist Gustav Sandgren, using the pen name Gabriel Linde, published a science fiction novel called Den okända faran (The Unknown Danger), in which he describes a race of extraterrestrials who wore clothes made of soft grey fabric and were short, with big bald heads, and large, dark, gleaming eyes. The novel, aimed at young readers, included illustrations of the imagined aliens. This description would become the template upon which the popular image of grey aliens is based”
It’s quite possible that young Bo Hallberg found this very book at the library and read it. As you know there was also a boom of science fiction in the 1950’s, and the interest of space in general was huge. The year before Bo’s alleged experience the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 2 with the dog Laika onboard, something that had a profound emotional effect on many children at the time simply because Laika died from overheating in space.
The fact that UFO- Sverige didn’t find a shred of physical evidence at the sight where Bo claimed he had buried parts of the saucer calls the story into question even more.
A funny detail in Bo’s story that you didnt mention in the video was that the extraterrestrial woman allegedly told Bo about his future, saying that he would live in a town, have average economy and in time grow white hair. Not much of an astonishing prediction considering it was referring to a boy with low educational level, living in a rural area with no job opportunities and most people’s hair turn white as they grow old.
I’m really curious if this woman actually existed in some shape or form, and if she did, who was she?
However, one thing that may speak against Bo Hallberg’s story being a complete figment of a young boy’s imagination is the fact that Bo keep insisting the story is true after more than 60 years. Granted, Bo may have strived for fame and fortune but as far as I can see he haven’t written a book or made any other profit from telling the story.
And that is interessting.
I don't know, the 1950's in rural sweeden. His experiences sound very detailed for one so young. I am more apt to believe than disbelieve. Too bad he had forgotten a good bit!
SO GOOD VIDEO
He walks around with an actual alien for hours and doesn't remember anything she said! Sounds legit! 😂😂
Thanks
Nice one.
Methinks Bo was telling tall tales.
I actually do believe this account. There is another Video on You Tube, of some loggers in Northern Sweden who witnessed a UFO Crash and found the occupant who though not exactly like the ones described, could have been one any way - as the loggers found the injured occupant of the craft in a metallic suit and it was telepathic and knew it was dying - the time frame was about 1955 as I recall from the Video. Look it up it is a very interesting video, and like this explanation quite believable. The humanoid beings that the child initially saw likely had helmets on. In the YT Video of the crashed UFO - it had a self destruct mechanism that destroyed it. The inhabitant described that there were several Civilizations visiting the Earth and was aware that at least one was taking soil samples. Keep in Mind that this is the time period of the mid to late 1950's - the time of my own child hood. Presently, we are just as in the dark so to speak as ever, regarding disclosure and a full disclosure at that. It is Criminal the out right lying and disinformation presented by the real Powers in levels of Government that are involved with the various Aliens and have knowledge of them that would educated the People of the Earth as to the Truth.
I think you refer to a video on this channel:) thanks for great feedback!
E.T. got something right, these aliens are consummate botanists, always picking up plants, potatoes and stuff.
I think children transform traumatic experience to make sense of what happened.
"Suddenly the craft turned on its side and flew out of the lake" remember folks, this maneuver is of a genuine UFO. Phillip J Corso also recounts this in his book as he was faced with a craft just feet away and also the famous modern day UFO sighting of a man who recorded a craft turning on its side and zooming away hign in a mountain while doing a house renovation project, taken with his cell phone.
Interesting story, but idk, the described characteristics are not consistent with other sightings. Arrows, loud bangs as the craft takes off does sound off. He may as well had been having out-of-body experiences.
Asking about berry bushes .... the hovering juat over the ground ... the berry bushes are a redundant point of focus from all sorts of encounters including the Fair folk or Fae, ... sasquatch and when children go missing and are found days later they OFTEN say that they drank from a creek and were fed berries from a hair covered bear man or large kangaroo or some animal.
Sasquatch are known to travel without any head bob motion in their gate from many witness accounts. They appear as if they are gliding at times and it also enables them to move incredibly fast at times.
There is these overlapping crass connecting charecteristica ALL over the seemingly different subjects. Imo. Its all one group or they all hail from the same place / operate under the same parameters.
There is a focus on genetics and specifically ours. There is a deceptive nature ro how it is presented to us as if it is a mask or something. And they have motivation that is not benevolent towards us. They are NOT from out there.
Can u repeat that ! Please 🇬🇧🇬🇧✋✋✋
I used to fly my flight machine around this area back then
Did they not drain or search the well for that communication device after he discarded it
Poor Bo’s dad sounded like a real piece of work. He was clearly abusive (his mom had to hide things from him) + it’s likely why the alien also said he’d be better off w/them (assuming this happened).
I believe him too.
Why do I imagine the Black Keys' 'Lonely Boy' being played during this alien encounter?
Intriguing story. I believe it.
Nice to hear about encounters in my own homeland.
No ei lopu maailmasta ihmeet!
I believe in ufos and I believe him..
they've got the technology to fly such vast distances then crash into a spruce tree, seriously!
I believe him
Interesting
He had a wild imagination
Ironic, how the aliens manipulate a little child to do their bidding & start to gather samples little by little, in such a nice way. I believe him & I am very curious where they are positioned and what would have happened if the child went alone to the power plant.
What I'm finding is odd about this case is that at the beginning of the video where the narrator is saying that evidence is rather thin. But later on in the video, evidence presents itself
1) the burn mark in the grass
2) the shirt when a projectile hit him
3) the oblong shaped footprint in the potato field
4) his shoes were burnt and yet his mother threw them away
5) four prints in the grass and this "woman" told him to drag a shovel to cover these tracks
6) a pen like device, where Bo could communicate with the "Woman", which he then in turn threw it away as he was afraid of it
This trace evidence could've given credibility to this case, especially the pen like device. But most of it was destroyed or lost and as much as I hate to say this *"what were these people thinking?"*
If Bo really met aliens, they seem kind of care-less about not leaving evidence, if that even was an issue for them. If so I guess they were right in not worrying about that since all that is left is the verbal accounts by Bo and his mother. The pen like device wants me to go there and dig out some old well.
The key here to me is: stepfather. Together with the fact that there is no evidence or other witnesses.
The Sea-Monkee family really gets around.
Every single alien encounter/abduction story throughout history describes them the same humanoid shape: 2 arms, 2 legs & 1 head. We all share a divine design that’s extremely common throughout the universe.
Most likely absolutely true. The small detail that makes it true is that the alien did not walk but seem to float above the ground. No one would come up with that in the 50 s and there is many many witnesses to the same in other cases. And, if it was a little boy s vivid imagination he would regret it when old and not told any more people about it.
Sounds a little like the adventures of "Billy Meier" in Switzerland, who met his contacts over many years.
It could be that part of the story was true but he made up further details to spice it up.
He was a kid in the 1950's and he still has a mother alive? How old is the mother and how lucid is she if she is alive.
they look like Aleister Crowley's LAM entity surprise surprise
It wasnt an alien....it was a swedish witch!
fairys and their berries....relentless messaging of absurdity
I Think Its real ok ❤

Did the female alien actually speak or was her voice inside his head?
How can his recollections be hazy? Afterall, seeing and talking to aliens is not something most of us do every day.

if the thing in the well was not recovered you know he lied
Their technology might be designed to self-destruct. Not really that far of a stretch considering everything else that happened in this story and the wider UFO lore about their obviously clandestine operations.
No Aliens at all,the phenomenon is real, but for sure they are not Aliens, altough they seems very interested in show themselves like that.
If u start ur story with all these reservations, then I am no longer interested
Thanks for the feedback. We're still trying to find the best way to tell these stories.
