I recently learned that making a more technically impressive video didn't mean it was a better video. I used to stress myself out endlessly about the transitions I wanted to add but the reality is people just care about story. Another great video Levi.

I'm a web developer for the past 13 years, the more experience I have the bigger the challenges I take, the harder it is to get to the finish line.

I love coastal BC so much, and after 30+ years of sailing trips here I feel I am just scratching the surface. Princess Louisa inlet, featured in your film, is one of my particular favorites. I had the privilege of sailing there last August after and absence of more than 10 years. It was hot and sunny then, delightful in its own way, but yes the misty moodiness of a rainy day, with the mist clinging to the mountains and the trees playing peekaboo through the clouds, is also a magical and memorable experience.
This video has a lot of value, and what a joy. Thank you Levi!

What I don't understand! Is that Levi makes extremely great content yet his subs aren't getting bigger! Literally everything is soo smooth, Things look so well edited that it makes my content look trash! I've been following his journey from day 1! I don't know anyone that has his skill set! Or can even make every video worth watching every single time! This man is an icon, A legend.... 💯❤

A good way to place what time a video is being made is by paying attention to Levi’s jacket. There’s the yellow windbreaker era, the blue coat era, and most recently the neon orange era
I much prefer surprise, wellmade content over weekly hack junk that fulfills an algorithm

Working creativity as a job - it is a trip. When I was a teenager me and my Mum had a side-business of selling at the local craft markets (she sewed, I kind of did everything else). It's putting in the time, on a regular basis, working on multiples that you're not sure are going to sell because the actual sale is months away in the future.
Heather Nicole, a mixed media artist based in this part of the country, would call this my Practice. Show up, every day, and put in the work. Evaluation and integration comes later.

Were you in the Princess Louisa Inlet, up at Chatterbox Falls? Such a beautiful video - one of the most beautiful places on earth, imho. Good advice. I hope some day I can do one of your film classes. I worked in tv and film for ten years and miss it every day. The idea of making short films like this just lights my soul on fire.

You make great movies, i really love the vibe and the filming.
But what annoys me is that the volume levels of the music you put on the videos is off a lot. It goes from quiet to very loud a lot. And it seems to be on my phone, my laptop speakers and my headset. Is there something i might be doing wrong?
