Also, load mags before class or as soon as you arrive. When I took a D5 course they wasted no time getting to the range and a few of us needed a few extra minutes 😅
At the last rifle class I took, one guy forgot ammo and another locked his keys in his car upon arrival. And there I was feeling silly for being the only guy running iron sights.
I have prescription glasses. I was wondering what I should do about eyepro in that instance. Are they're options for me to have both glasses and eyepro at the same time?
There are companies like "tactical RX" that make prescription eye pro. They have their own house made frames or you can buy magpul, Oakley, etc directly from their sight, they also make the prescription lenses themselves. Frames run about 99-300+ while prescription lenses are 240-450 (depending on options bifocals, transitional, polarized, etc...) Probably worth the investment if you plan on taking classes on any regular basis. I wear glasses but I also have contact lenses for occasion such as training classes.
So how's it work if you want to go to class in California and you live in a free state? Do I have to go out and buy a bunch of 10 round magazines? Or can I transport them in a locked box, unloaded, until I get to the facility?
Would recommend coming to an AZ class or another class to make logistics easier. CA classes are really for the california population. But all are welcome.
Yes, note that the quality of the glasses you are using will also dictate if it effects your zero. Some glasses have major drift because the optical clarity isnt up to par.
Funny given every class gives you a loadout... this video would be better utilized as a shake down before a class... lay your stuff and account for what you have... once you sign off on it... go.
Looks like you need about $25k in firearms and every avenue of related gear. Imo, which isn't worth anything, is keep it basic and small scale. I watch too many Guntubers who look like Force Recon with their gear, but do not understand the basics of weapon management and manipulation. I'll never own NV, and I'm fine with that. Too many Guntubers have implemented the requirement of Nodz as one would carry a pocket knife. Enjoy 2A while we can. We're basically the last firearms for public consumption country in the world, excluding California, as they are a Communist country, and do not recognize the 2A or basically any of the US constitution.
or the D5 Handgun it was a $500 glock, 3 extra mags @ $25 each, 1000 rounds for @250, a $200 safariland ALS holster. All of that less than the course itself.
you can show up with a $500 AR-15 if you want. Training on your own isn't necessarily cheap either, but you can make do by being resourceful. Everyone's budget is different.
Not sure what is outrageously expensive here. For the D5 Handgun it was a $500 glock, 3 extra mags @ $25 each, 1000 rounds for @250, a $200 safariland ALS holster. All of that less than the course itself. Can you clarify please?
Not outrageously expensive at all. Its up to you what you want to invest in. You just need the basics you dont need opscore amps if all you can afford is walkers.

Travis sure aged since the last vid.
🤣🤣🤣
I thought the same thing
That’s Tarvis.
Surly you know that’s Jared not Travis 😁
Hahahahaha
Seriously thought it was Travis and had some self reflection on my own age.
Step 1:bring your firearm. 😂
Lmao I had a buddy who left his rifle at home before heading to a class. Didn’t remember til an hour into the drive
😳 Bruuuuhhhhhh
At the last rifle class I took, one guy forgot ammo and another locked his keys in his car upon arrival. And there I was feeling silly for being the only guy running iron sights.
Leaving the keys in the car can happen to anybody. That’s not an issue. The problem is leaving your ammo at home. SMH..
Thanks for the line level details and information. Great video!
As a firearms instructor myself I’ll say Haley Strategic is one of very few schools I’d consider going to myself.
tell us how conceded you are without saying you think you're better than everyone
@@sillygoose5138 “conceited”.
This was very helpful & informative. Thank you.
Exactly video, thank you!
Woah that's useful sir also thanks for the lessons as the firearms class is needed with the correct items!
This is on the new year goal list for sure.
Bring snacks. Clif bars or whatever.
Nice piece of content!
Thanks for the video 👊🏻
You know what I can't bring? A heavy chest rig in Ranger green because you guys haven't restocked in over a year.
A nice .pdf file with this information would be a tremendous help

Wiley X offers prescription lens with ballistic ratings.
@@johnnyh3653I recommend Wiley, but don't have experience with prescriptions.
Nice overview.
Outstanding!
The presenter has Travis' voice, but i don't know if that's him. Anyone know?
Did you pay attention to the video?
At the very beginning there's a graphic that says "Jared Segraves Director of training"
@@vegeta420z6I didn’t know Travis Haley changed his name.

You cant be serious... Do you want to go to Iran and shake a rubber fist in support of LGBTQABCDEFG?
Would recommend coming to an AZ class or another class to make logistics easier. CA classes are really for the california population. But all are welcome.
By the laws of our insane state you wil would have to aquire 10 round magazines.
Lots of good people and gear ranges sitting in Cali, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss them all. As the same.
Jared is the man
What ammo bag is that at 2:10
I would like to know as well. I have a black hawk soft ammo bag that isn't made anymore and that bag looks even better
Its a prototype, but there's many ammo solutions available on the market that work.
@@HaleyStrategicPartners Gotcha. I have a few types but liked that full wrap handel on that small bag.
I want to train with guys!!
are z87 glasses considered ballisitic for a couse?
Yes, note that the quality of the glasses you are using will also dictate if it effects your zero. Some glasses have major drift because the optical clarity isnt up to par.
Now I know thanks
And knowing half the battle, yo Joe
Everything...
Travis is that you? I know times are rough bud. Hang in there.
Thats Jared
Thanks!
I'm just messing with you guys. Good video.
Stretch before you go. Saw a guy hirt himself running and it sucked.

Might wanna take a little look around at other countries before making that statement !

Not sure who you are referring to, but Travis Haley the CEO was Marine Corps Force Recon.
Bring 1000s of $ of gear if you want to take this $800 class. Bros pants are on way too tight.
you can show up with a $500 AR-15 if you want. Training on your own isn't necessarily cheap either, but you can make do by being resourceful. Everyone's budget is different.
A lot of outrageously expensive equipment. Well off people often comply. They have too much to lose.
