GOOD CONTENT BRO! As someone already mentioned. Red Bulls success was not by Newey. But illegal parts on the cars made them fast. How did FIA find out about these parts....Newey?
Don't know why all of the commentators so far are skipping the fact that Newey will be an owner among the other things. He stated that so far no other team has made such an offer. Being an owner is a big part of why he joined Aston.
It feels like Newey’s cars may not be dominant until it goes to an aero formula. The 2026 regulations are speculated to be an engine formula. It was pointed out that Newey’s cars were dominant with the 4 years leading to the engine formula (where Mercedes became dominant), and then dominant afterwards when it was switched back to aero with the floor regulations. Would be nice to see another constructor be in the front of the pack tho
I think it's really good for Newey to go to Aston, like you say there is that familiarity and comfort there for him and he's got people he's worked alongside and been very successful with in the past. I think he will enjoy working with Fernando and his input on the car may hopefully encourage Fernando to stay on after 2026. What also might have appealed to Newey is the fact that the Heart of Racing team will be running two Valkyrie hypercars in WEC next year, I hope they will do well and it will be something outside of F1 he can work on because of the aero changes that have to be made to fit with WEC rules. I also hope it brings Fernando his 3rd title he deserves
Alonso winning a 3rd title will be a dream come true. I have a feeling they will be putting a lot into 2026 and he can get a lot of work woth it from the time he joins.
I've been a fan of AMR since Vettel joined in 2021, it's been incredible following this team from then up till now To say I'm excited about their future come 2026 would be an understatement
Would love to see a video addressing Mercedes engine which everyone claimed in 2022 & 2023 was underpowered. Yet with no upgrades to engine both McLaren and Mercedes have multiple wins this season, showing that the main problem wasn’t the engine but aerodynamics.
If i remember correct the Merc engine was about 5hp behind the Redbull in 2022 and 10hp behind the Ferrari. Merc as a whole also had a very draggy car, their rear wing famously being called a barndoor, and Redbull just having an extremely streamlined car which made them the fastest
@@JulmustensV8 yes that is what was reported but given that 2022 Ferrari had big problems with that engine, red bull have gone through almost every power unit component already this season and taken many extras. Look how slow alpine have been with a supposed 20hp less, so if Mercedes were 10hp down on Ferrari there would be a significant time loss even over 1 lap.
2026 is such a wildcard I think what Aston did was just to deal themselves the best possible hand going into it with Newey, Honda, Fallows, Cardonie (I know I spelled that wrong, but Ferrari's tech guy) etc. They are building the best possible chance for a good showing as long as they nail the regs which you would think Honda and Newey will do. My predictions for 2026 regs: Ferrari start the strongest with McLaren very close behind, Ferrari win both championships in 2026 , but only one or none in 2027. Redbull have a massive decline where they win 1 race at most each season, Aston Martin are just as competitive as they were in 2023 in 2026 , maybe they win one race but by the time the regs are almost over they are the strongest team. Williams turn into a actual midfield team and merc stay pretty much where there are now, winning 1-3 races a season with more regular podiums(not certain on merc, as a lot rests on the driver lineup)
I like this. I think if Ferrari gets all things right a Leclerc/Lewis battle will be epic. If Lewis beats Leclerc there's no shade to Leclerc and vice versa. Both drivers are great and victory over the other is credit to both. And that kind of rivalry will boost Ferrari. Aston Martin might move up the order. Alonso could get fired. AS F1 FANS WE SO DISAPPOINTED TO WITNESS ADRIAN NEWEY TO GO FOR MONEY, TRANSFORMED TO A SHAREHOLDER! INSTEAD OF GOING TO A TEAM TO CREATE THE NEXT ROCKETSHIP, SHAME!!!
Amazing…. F1 had to implement a engine freeze so Honda wouldn’t quit
Finnaly we can have a 7 times world champion Lance Stroll
God be praised... It's not Ferrari 👌
Replace stroll and its over for the rest of the grid
Maybe Lance gets to score another podium while Alonso wins 10 races and the championship.
✌🏼
Nah, I don't see this, because F1 is really a slow sport for fast car even with the best intent and finance.
5:47 got no clue what your writing with that booty font 😅
Not even Adrian Newey can save Alonso from the biggest rock in the world called Lance Stroll.
Newey will have to switch majors into Genetic engineering to fix the team.
Building a fast car and putting LANCE in it wont accomplish anything for AM. Fernando may be competitive again.... we shall see
Can people stop saying Alonso WDC 2026.
AM are only going to win if, Newey builds a Tesla (for Stroll's driving) and Fernando is the only one on the grid.
Jeremy Clarkson is the world's most reliable source
I’ve seen enough, Lance Stroll is winning the championship in 2026
Imagine Lance Stroll winning the title due to the car... I would stop watching F1 and start watching cooking shows.
Last chance for Fernando Alonso before Max Verstappen takes over ☝️😎
I don't see that. AN won't make a significant difference until 2026 AT LEAST. Then Max arrives.
