Happy New Year! I love this idea of sectional quilting, and yes, I will probably use my walking foot on a quilt, or just try it your way on something small. Thx
@@SewVeryEasyThanks for the response. Sorry, I was not specific enough. I was wondering how you did the spray basting. I am doing it on the floor but am looking for a better suggestion.
I agree that does look great. But I'm not sure I'd allow myself to not at least try to keep the lines all equal distance. I asked "why" out loud twice while watching the video when you said "don't worry about the distance between the lines." Would it just be too hard to measure them all out? Am I perhaps too OCD? Ha.
I’m with you, LeAnn, that would do my head in! 🤪 I’d just use the seam lines as my guide and would sew across and down. The pattern is a diamond shape so it would look good by keeping it simple. 👋🏻 🇦🇺
Very nice. Straight line does a lot of texture.
Your quilting looks fantastic! 😊
I love this idea! Thanks Laura.
Thank you so much!
That looks nice and easy. I might even be able to do it on my JanomeMC9000. It looks real nice. Thank you.
I love this. It really looks fantastic and so unique.
Your strait stitching looks awesome!
Lovely way to accent the fabrics!
Thank you!

That us very beautiful. The centre square/diamond gives it a lovely focal point. Thankyou for this one. Happy new year. Hugs, Chel 🌸
Thank you and Happy New Year to you too!
Beautiful technique! ❤
Would never have thought of this!
Awesome idea 😊
Excellent idea! Thanks
Thank you so much!

Nice diamond quilt. Love the colours in it. And Happy New Year to you and your husband. 🎉🎉🎉 Greetings from Kenneth in Norway.
Happy new year! and I will let him know as well
Beautiful!
Thanks for this tutorial. 😊
You're welcome 😊
What machine are you using ? It looks huge like at least a midarm. Neat quilting.
❤❤❤❤😮😊
Is it a special ruler or any acrylic ruler?
What was the pen Laura was using to mark the quilt
It was just a chalk marker
Clover do one that looks like the one she used.
Thanks. I heard her say so later in the video
That was fun!
How do you baste your quilts before quilting them with your Q20?
I spray baste and then sometimes pin as well

I’m the first one to comment. That never happens!

hahaha I know what you mean, I though of that as well....but his pushed me outside of my box!
Is your ruler a quarter inch?
The one I use quilting is a quilting machine ruler that needs the ruler foot
I have a q16 also, that's why I ask. I have rulers that aren't 1/4 and I was wondering if I could use them. Rulers are so expensive. Lol
Wrong ruler for ruler quilting!!!
