Indian Classical Dance vs. Mridangam Fusion

This is something I did this summer with one of my closest friends. Both of us aren't professionals or anything but we were talking about how the worlds of Indian Classical Dance and Mridangam are connected and we were so captivated by how it's kind of like a language that the both of us speak. The rhythms of classical dance are directly linked to the beats of the mridangam and we thought it would be fun to play around with this idea. Initially we thought we'd just jam at home but in the end it ended up being a full on performance that we managed to put together within just a couple of days^^ I hope you enjoy watching this! Truly brought us a lot of happiness putting it together.
