Showing each step both on the saw and on the graphic is what solidified it for me. It's harder to understand what's going on when it's just shown on the tool. Thanks for that extra effort!
An instructional video with illustrations and verbal instructions delivered in calm manner. I’m kinda more mechanically inclined than I am electrically for sure so this was perfect. Thanks
Very well done video , I own a wireless saw so I’m not sure if it will work with mine. But I watched the entire video and learned a lot from it. I Definitely liked the Drawing explanation you after every step.
When I connect my tester to plug prongs and click the saw switch I’m getting an ohm reading of 4.5 instead of the 1.5-2 that you say are targeted. Is that acceptable? Or an indication of a problem?
Just what I needed. Honestly one of the best troubleshooting and repair videos I have seen. The illustration/animation set it apart. Great work!
Thanks for the comments Ted. I tried to make this one simple.

I fixed my circular saw. :) It was either a loose wire or a dirty brush, but I am happy it works now. Now only if it wasn't snowy outside.

Thanks for the kind comments! I normally use this circular saw for 1 or 2 cuts to rip plywood and every time I wish I had a cordless one.
Thanks, Almost threw mine away before watching this.
Sounds great for a 27 year old saw 👌🏾👌🏾

How do I fix a misalignment in my dewalt circular saw
Hi Juan, Sorry for the slow reply, it's been a busy week. I'm not sure what kind of misalignment you are referring too?
Where do you buy the part?
I purchased the replacement cord at Amazon. DEWALT 33007898 2 Wire 16 Gauge Power Cord, 10', about $15.
This helped to trouble shoot my DW708 Miter saw. It was the cord. Duh! lol
Glad this helped!
Thanks for the video. Very easy to understand. You don’t need to draw me pictures. Don’t get me wrong, IT HELPS, but you don’t have to.
