Good evening my Fellow Fisherman, I enjoyed your review On the Okuma Reel, l purchased a Okuma Ceymar Reel a few years ago, the anti reverse Stop working 😭😞 so now it's in free spool 🧵 now, not sure what happened 😕😞😠 but I will try 🙏 to repair it, this will definitely determine whether or not I plan on purchasing a new Okuma Reel. Sincerely CJG Sr.😢
@@robertgutierrez7243 Personally, I’d go with the 7’3” ML. The addition length gives just a bit more distance on casting and will help with picking up slack.
I have a few Okuma reels. No complaints. Solid value.
Okuma makes some real workhorses. Can probably take the reel off and use it like brass knuckles to punch holes through granite.
Was great to meet you at ICAST! Can’t wait to get my hands on the 3000 for wade fishing the flats with artificials 👍🏼
@@FLFlatsmaster I’m glad you got to hang out. Keep on doing what you are doing.
Nicest 4K i've seen in awhile Dave.
Hey Dave: Good info, thanks. The 2500-X has a reverse switch? Or not? (P.S. I'm hoping it does not.)
It does not! Woohoo

@@carlgwizdala-ps8wj That’s pretty unfortunate. Reach out to Okuma. They’ll help on the repair. Customercare@okumafishingusa.com
Would the 7ft medium light x series bass spinning rod work well for the strolling technique?
