Have one query may be it will sound silly..but when I am double clicking on states only states of India are getting marked or having the dots coming up but rest US and other are empty as before why it is happening ? I am using tableau public.
Hi I am having some issues when using the following file sample.superstore file " there are 96 values that have unknown geographical locations" i tried checking online the solution for it but cant find how to figure which states are the correct one tableau accepts. A little help will be amazing if this sort of issue comes in real time how to correct it in tableau or do we need to contact the source system team to fix it?
Hi ,Nice videos ,need one help i have state in measures and shop id with latitude and longitude ,i need to have base as state in map and on top of that need the geotags for shop ,unable to create ,can u help
Sir i have a question can we do these things in tableau public also ? I m asking it because so points or hum function are not shown in the tableuepublic plz help
Hey , Tableau assigns the measures and dimensions based on the data type. But don't trust the software blindly. There is no point in aggregating customer number or material number if you think of it(No use of accessing them as a continuous field). You can easily change the measure into dimension by right clicking on the measure and selecting convert to dimension. It is one of the important aspects before begining analysis. Date can act as both discrete and continuous. In the end it really depends on the scenario and use case. Hope this helps!
Your videos are superb.. I have one question. I was preparing overall performance of the agent. I had calculated ratings by taking 25% of each parameter. How can we show in the interface. It always calculates sum, count etc The parameters are Productivity, Internal quality, External Quality, One Time Resolution (All are continuous). I had taken Rating and considered 1 as 100%. Please reply. Example : - Productivity (Target - 120) IQ(Target - 90) EQ (Target - 70) OTR (Target - 60) Rating 80 50 60 70 [(80/120)+(50/90)+(70/60)+(70/60)] /4 = 0.88 (88%)

customer number and material number are also having the numerical values , how should they be handled to show discrete values ?

Very nice
Visibility of presentation is not good not able to see the text.... clearly
But explanation on each topic is well covered.
Though you didnt explicitly say it, you imply that all dimensions are discrete and all measures are continuous. This is incorrect.
map is not showing color on my page. what the issu?
Great Video..Connect me for tableau Realtime projects👍👍👍
