Larian or Obsidian on Fallout would be incredible. Give me remakes of any or all of the first 3 games, a remake or sequel to Fallout Tactics, or brand new FO games entirely. I'd buy all of it.
Bethesda, just give everyone a huge Fallout 4 DLC. I am playing FO4 on PC and today my 3070ti is running everything on Ultra except God Rays and Wep Debris and I am not having any issues. I, also after all these years Installed some Mods. Nothing altering fidelity just some added story and a new wep. Really digging America Rising 2 and the Wattz Laser Rifle. I never knew there were so many fan-created stories with voice acting and the whole works.
This games work because of Play created content, not the games developers content. That has what has provided the games longevity. Some mods for Eldar Scrolls and Fallout series raise the playability of the games massively.
I stopped expecting good things to come from Bethesda when they said "we built an entirely new engine for fallout 76" and then it was the exact same engine from elder scrolls online, complete with dragon code.
They should give someone else a shot at making a "spin-off" game, Larian Studios? Obsidian? InXile? IDK!!! Just give them three years and we're golden.
Seeing how we won't be getting a new single player Fallout game soon, if you were on the fence about Fallout 76, now is an excellent time to start playing it. All Quests are primarily single player (but up to 3 friends can come along) while Events are meant for multiple people. You can play alone, with strangers, or with friends, it's all up to you. PvP can be disabled. The game also has the kindest player community out of any online game.
what I'm bothered by is everyone going "IT WAS VAULTTEC" ignoring the clues in FO4 and even a writer(or director i forget which" who said china was the one who started the war
I genuinely have very low expectations for both Fallout and Elder Scrolls going forward. Most of what made those two IP's great was laid down by people that either left Bethesda a long time ago, such as Ken Rolston and Michael Kirkbride for Elder Scrolls, or were from a different studio altogether, such as Tim Cain and Feargus Urquhart for Fallout. Starfield was Bethesda's chance to show their stuff in creating a new IP without the ability to fall back on the prior creative works of other people, and well what we got was a shamelessly corporate game littered with poor writing, nonsensical and barebones lore, copy/paste uninspired level design, and a gameplay loop that hasn't fundamentally changed since Morrowind.
Microsoft should work with Amazon to open a dedicated Fallout studio. This IP has the expansion capability of Star Wars on a smaller but still diehard scale. Endless space for the show to expand into that new games could then take advantage of, so long as the writing keeps up. Seems like a positive feedback loop waiting to happen.
i think it'd be cool to see bethesda and microsoft officially back FO: London. Something already being developed, presumably almost here, being funded by the official studio without extra work to the official fallout devs? sounds like a good popularity boost, even tho it probably wouldn't generate much revenue for them, being a free mod and all
I'm not sure how big their team is, but theoretically Bethesda could could work on some smaller spinoff titles, while also taking their time and care with the next ES and FAO titles. Like a sims management style Fallout game where you build up your own settlement in the image of a specific faction. Send out parties to scavenge or attack other settlements. Or an arcade Gauntlet style, rougue-like dungeon crawling ES game.
Lore wise, I like that they don’t outsource it. While I’d love to have another fallout game I’d be annoyed if there was a bunch of plot holes in the universe
At the very least I would be happy with a huge overhaul/DLC for F76. I love F76 unlike most people, but I also do understand why most don’t like it. At the same time, an overhaul and DLC would bring player back and give hope to player base, well, OG player base. And to touch on DLC, I get that we have had DLCs but also these DLCs were quick, I beat each of them within an hour or so. Minus fast travel and loading times. Even more Events, Weapons, Serums, Better economy for vendors, more building props that aren’t through the atomic shop.
It'd be nice if I could save the progress in my fallout 4 playthrough ever since the next Gen update I've been having problems with it and I can't even access my mod list to see if there's any updates for them that would fix the problem because every time I try to access the mods it says that action cannot be completed
@thresholdhatesrevenant2620 EXACTLY like bethesda. their website is just mods people are working on atp they don’t have anything new coming out for years.
I think the next game shouldn’t be Fallout 5 but a spin off game if it’s being made by a separate studio. I also think it should be darker like Fallout 1 was with some of the scary moments broken up with comedic.
I think the behavior of BGS says something different entirely. It's been 2 months since the last update and FO4 is currently broken. In Japan people can't access the CC they purchased, it's a stuttery mess, "Widescreen" support. It's probably best to just completely ignore that though, so good job.
The update has certainly shook up the modding scene but its also brought many new players to the game which is going to be good in the long run for modding. The game is SO good right now because of all the fantastic mods created by the community.
So as i understood, BGS and Microsoft are all for another New Vegas basically but all other studios are already busy with their own projects. i really hope they approach Larian studios ngl
The only thing I'm interested in right now is when they're going to fix the problems in FO4, especially not even being able to get into the mods section on XBX, because it's starting to look like they can't be bothered to. Funny how the paid Creations page works fine, but the free mods page doesn't.
The worst part about bethesda is having paid mods. Skyrim was literally alive because of mods but if they want a paywall, we'll be moving on to witcher 3 with its RedKit tool
I am so confused on how Fallout London will work. Here's my situation. They need you to have the base game and all the DLC, which I have. I also have installed several mods, like improved textures, improved interior lighting, and fixes to things like the sprint stutter, debris physics, etc to enjoy the game on max settings with a smoother stability/performance. Many of these need Script Extender. These mods were also updated to work for the latest version of Fallout 4. So if I want to enjoy London, how is this gonna affect my base game and mods?
They are aiming to have a separate launcher for the mod, though they haven't gone too far into what it will look like. On paper it will be the equivalent of having a separate profile in the Nexus mod manager with a separate mod list. Based on the dev discussions in discord it is also highly likely they will have a version focused on the pre-next gen patch as well due to issues they've been having in the backend of the mod. The catch is you'll need an extra 35-40 gigs of space since it's using all the world space available from the base game to fit the london map.
I don't think Bethesda is ruined just yet. 76 made an amazing comeback and obviously Starfield was a flop. But compared to their success they've had more then bad. If Elder Scrolls 6 ends up being like really bad THEN I'll get worried. Until then, Im cautiously optimistic about their projects.

Man that's a long video to tell us absolutely NOTHING new. click bait. see if you can get a few more links and "sponsors" in there too.
To be fair I didn’t know any of this stuff even if it wasn’t that recent of info
I don't think they'd ever allow Larian to make a Fallout game, I don't really know why, I just feel like it's something they wouldn't do
I could swear I've watched this video like 3 times already.
what does fallout london had to call an audible instead, mean?
LARIAN, INXILE, OBSIDIAN, LET THESE GUYS HANDLE THE FRANCHISE
As an old head I haven’t and won’t be playing any online fallout games but as I’ve played all the games starting way back in the 90’s on my first desktop I got fallout and red alert from my uncle for my birthday I was hooked. I prefer the alone mode because of the choices chance and karma options (not available in 4 or 76) so I’ll be waiting for fallout 5.
I would love for Larian to make a Fallout Game in the same style as Baldur's Gate. I would love that so much. ☺
No thank you, I like the style Fallout 3, 4 and 76 are in.
@@Xaveston I do too, but I also like the other style... this wouldn't be a mainline game, obvis... more like just a side game... I'm always up for more Fallout, lol.
@@XavestonI like both styles
Fallout London delay played right into it as well, people waiting to play that started playing fallout 4 or 76 after the update.
The fact I paid maybe a hundred dollars for creations just for them to break and now I can’t use them utterly pisses me off
L-LARYAN?!! Ooooh if only we can all be so lucky! Obsidian would be amazing of course, but I'd love to see what Laryan would do with a Fallout game.
The best thing Microsoft can do at this point is take the IP away from BGS. Todd and co have proven they don’t know what they are doing.
Larian making remakes of Fallout 1 and 2, keeping the tactical top down RPG style, could be very very very cool
I've been saying Larian should do a top down Fallout since BG3 released! I would absolutely lose my mind if one of my favorite devs of all time took on my favorite series of all time.
Top Down? So what like Fallout 1 was like?
Eh, I'd pass. I prefer the style of 3, 4 and 76. I do not want a top down (Kind of why I rather Larian didn't touch it, they probably make it into a turn base game or something, and I do not think the game should be in that mode)
@@Denis-zs6sw No. He’s saying that the top down games aren’t as in demand anymore. Bethesdas greatest achievement was bringing fallout to the 3D world and now, fans have become accustomed to 3D fallouts. A top down fallout wouldn’t be successful.
@@rowan7149 yeah, that’s why BG3 became game of the year . Too much cope, try better
@@rowan7149 when bunch of zoomers can’t play the game if it’s not a first person shooter where everything exploding in all colours. That doesn’t mean top down games is not in demand
@@Denis-zs6sw Still doesn’t change the fact, fallout top down games are no longer in demand little bro.
I hope this will show TV and movie creators to see the value of creating adaptations that the original IP's fans would actually love.
Just a small aside, the workers of Bethesda Unionized which could be worth keeping in mind for the future of the company (they are going to have far more control over their work place quality and perhaps even regarding what is going to be put into game, unsure what their union contract allows)
Good if Todd tries to push it then the dev team can strike which given their precarious financial situation right now they really can't afford that.
"Weeks away"
*Proceeds to drop 4 days later*
XD
Bots made it to the comment section before anyone else😂
Every time.
bots = non Bethesda glazers?
@GallowayJesse it's just the same points over and over again. probably not bots but bot like behavior. Bethesda sucks at making quests and story, we get it. Stanfield is trash, f76 is garbage, NV is better and Bethesda hates it for reasons, fallout is dead, blah blah blah
@GallowayJesse the bots comments weren't liked, therefore they are hidden until someone scrolls enough to find them
Beep bop boop
Everyone is panicking and I am here, just happy to be a Fallout/Elder Scrolls fan over being a Resident Evil fan 🤣. Just got into Fallout about 4 yrs ago and already got a tv show about the series that did better than all the live action Resident Evil films combined 🤣😭🤣. Fallout for all time!
I swear ive seen that same title a million times, yet no examples of it on your page.
Larian or Obsidian on Fallout would be incredible. Give me remakes of any or all of the first 3 games, a remake or sequel to Fallout Tactics, or brand new FO games entirely. I'd buy all of it.
How many of these are you going to make
Bethesda, just give everyone a huge Fallout 4 DLC.
If Bethesda, obsidian and Larian all worked on fallout we could have a new fallout game every few years without sacrificing quality.
Like an Infinity Ward/Treyarch partnership but every 2 years instead of every year. (Gives each team 6 years before they need to release a game).
This games work because of Play created content, not the games developers content. That has what has provided the games longevity. Some mods for Eldar Scrolls and Fallout series raise the playability of the games massively.
now we just need the mods work again
I stopped expecting good things to come from Bethesda when they said "we built an entirely new engine for fallout 76" and then it was the exact same engine from elder scrolls online, complete with dragon code.
I'm wondering if Bethesda will continue mod support for consoles and pc
Please don't cut green pepper like that. Hurt my soul.
They should give someone else a shot at making a "spin-off" game, Larian Studios? Obsidian? InXile? IDK!!!
Just give them three years and we're golden.
To think Fallout could have both a Game of the Year Award and a Emmy is insane;.
All i can say is a huge thank you to modders keeping me up to my neck in fresh Fallout and ES content. You guys rock hard.
I'm just getting hyped for fallout london to come out
Seeing how we won't be getting a new single player Fallout game soon, if you were on the fence about Fallout 76, now is an excellent time to start playing it.
Live service games suck and Todd wanting to sneak live service into the back door of Starfield also sucks.
shoutout to the works at Bethesda for successfully voting to unionize 🎉
Microsoft should work with Amazon to open a dedicated Fallout studio. This IP has the expansion capability of Star Wars on a smaller but still diehard scale. Endless space for the show to expand into that new games could then take advantage of, so long as the writing keeps up. Seems like a positive feedback loop waiting to happen.
That tittle... Matty, is that you?
i think it'd be cool to see bethesda and microsoft officially back FO: London. Something already being developed, presumably almost here, being funded by the official studio without extra work to the official fallout devs? sounds like a good popularity boost, even tho it probably wouldn't generate much revenue for them, being a free mod and all
Must be nice getting those paid trips. Keep the hype train moving for Big Daddy Todd!
But…but…. He’s an “influencer”…….Releasing this same video every..single..month!
I love fallout...but i want a new elder scrolls first
The only thing that will get me excited for fallout 5 is if a more capable studio than Bethesda makes the game.
Nothing
Speed of films and television doesn’t really matter all that much, the more money you have the faster it goes
Larian making a Fallout would be dope fr 🤌
Lore wise, I like that they don’t outsource it. While I’d love to have another fallout game I’d be annoyed if there was a bunch of plot holes in the universe
The consensus is watch the show and pretend you’re not getting fucked over by the updates. Thanks, Mr. Howard.
Even more Events, Weapons, Serums, Better economy for vendors, more building props that aren’t through the atomic shop.
idk man
“Best work ever” bro it’s Skyrim. Game is ancient but it’s still loved and played today
No fallout 3 remaster they won't fix the PC version they won't fix the botched "next gen update" for 4 and I can go on & on & on
It'd be nice if I could save the progress in my fallout 4 playthrough ever since the next Gen update I've been having problems with it and I can't even access my mod list to see if there's any updates for them that would fix the problem because every time I try to access the mods it says that action cannot be completed
Ai does a better job than juice
Larian worrying about the release of Starfield is very funny in hindsight
The players aren't just not going anywhere, they're having kids, and those kids are getting into Fallout, too
They really need to make a dedicated fallout studio, something like Vault Tec Games. Where todd can have his cake and eat it too.
I would love for Larian to make a turn based fallout RPG, that would be beautiful. It would take me back to fallout 1 & 2.
5:35 I completely forgot about this. How ironic in hindsight.
I feel like you just make the same videos over and over again and when you do a new mod video it’s of mods that others have already broke the news on.
Feels like bethesda
How many times do i get to read this title in one lifetime
What is going on with JuiceHead?! He promised Stalker series video month ago and we still didn't have it!
People need to realize that Obsidian is not the same one that made NV aside from Josh Sawyer.
